Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.  AHH a steak house. anything with steak in the name has to be good. In this case yes. I had a Appleton rum and coke, fresh bread, creamed spinach and the Cowboy Ribeye. Rum and coke refreshing. The bread hot and tasty. Creamed spinach as good as I make it at home. Ribeye, served on a sizzle to your touch hot plate. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare of course) sizzling on the plate as it was presented to me. I had to wait before cutting and tasting. But the minutes to biting into a carnivore dream, was worth the time.
This has to be one of the best steak ever. As it is a prime steak it should be. No added salt or pepper was needed. I ate as much as I could and brought home the rest in a doggie bag for later.
Now some chit chat.
I was here on Xmas day. I guess the only day they open at noon time. Regular is 430 PM. I was not alone. After being seated, taking a few pics it filled up quickly. This is a pricey place. My rum and coke alone cost 12.50, ouch. My steak fifty-four bucks by itself. Cream spinach eight dollars fifty cents. ooooooh.
The staff was friendly and outstanding. BUT there was a hiccup. I had done my research and knew I wanted the Cowboy Ribeye. No Mistake on my part.  Ah when I thought my meal was coming what did they present, ta da, a Porterhouse. EHH WRONG. I sent it back. The server looked at me funny but left without question. A few minutes later my Cowboy arrived as outlined above. So no foul all is well.
Over all a good but expensive time.

Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Village Shops Way, Estero, FL. A grumbling in my tummy, 2 cents on the food and chatter. This is a  once a year deal where I spend too much money on a meal. I got a shrimp cocktail, filet mignon ( medium rare of course ) , clam chowder, creamed spinach and a apple cheesecake dessert. ( Hot bread included). The food. Clam Chowder, I thought it was me but my dining companion concurred, there was too much over whelming smoky bacon in the chowder. Bacon is fine but it should never out do the main ingredient. Shame Shame. Shrimp cocktail. The sauce was a delight. Spicy enough. I missed, when it was usually served in a big glass of ice. Creamed spinach for 10 bucks I should have a BIGGER portion. The ingredients are inexpensive enough. Filet Mignon served on a sizzling hot plate , cooked to perfection.... MMMMM good. The dessert, just enough to open a belt notch.
Overall a good dining experience. When with companions, no dine and dash, you savor the moments of the taste buds.

The petite filet and calamari were great, the service attentive almost to the point of being overbearing. The atmosphere at night is romantic low-lit but somehow slightly pretentious. Lots of extra staff staff around to do menial things but mostly standing around hovering. I will only go back for a very special occasion as this place is extremely pricey.

THE place for steaks.... If u want steak done right, cuts like butta! be prepared to shell out the dough, it's fine dining all the way :)

I really do not enjoy eating steak. I am not a fan of red meat at all. But the steak here is simply delicious. The flavor is great and it melts in your mouth like butter. Personally, I ordered the stuffed chicken breast. The cheese oozed out beautifully when I cut into it and the herbs in the cheese made a great harmony of flavors.

Best Steak Ever!. I have been to many steakhouses throughout my life and this restaurant was one of the best! I am very happy that there is some life of fine dining north of Naples. I have been looking for a restaurant that I could go to on special occasions outside of Fort Myers and this fits the bill. We started off in their huge bar for happy hour. Happy hour lasted until 6:30 and I think they do it everyday. We didn't try any of their happy hour food but I got a glass of wine for only $6. We were seated after we were done in the bar and they had a great dining room. They had a huge wine list so you could find anything in your price point or wine region. I had the NY Strip and my girlfriend tried the filet. Both were generous amounts of food and tasted great. Everything is a la carte (slight downside) but we were able to order exactly what we wanted (I went to Burn's in Tampa last week and they just told you what sides you were getting. You could order extra sides, but it was just too much food). Food was great along with the service. They have a special 3-course menu that you can order off of but we just got what we wanted. To finish we had the crème brulee which was one of the best I have ever had. I am really happy that I have found this place and wish there were more restaurants of this caliber in Fort Myers.

Such a wonderful experience! I came in with my mom for the first time to celebrate her birthday and the service & experience was top tier! we were sat and there was birthday confetti on the table which was such a sweet touch. we were immediately greeted by Thomas our server who was absolutely delightful, he was very kind in explaining the menu to us and recommending dishes to us. We started off with the whispering angel rose which is always great! Thomas was on top of refills which we appreciated so much! We enjoyed the calamari which was honestly the best we’ve had in such a long time. it’s sweet and spicy with a spectacular crunch to it. My mom got the steak and shrimp special and I got the filet I believe and wow!!! so fresh, delicious. we were SO impressed! one of my moms best birthdays!

Ribeye cooked to perfection! I like my steak Pittsburg style. Black on the crust and red inside. It’s delicious then they top it with butter to add to the deliciousness. Zucchini fries were crisp and well cooked. Martini shaken not stirred by Channel. We also had a nice visit by the manager Peter. It is so refreshing to listen to someone who takes such pride in the company he works for and the employees who work for him. Definitely enjoyed ourselves!

It would be a 3 star rating, but the service was so excellent that I gave it a 4 star rating. The great things are the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the fantastic service (courteous, drinks always filled, answering questions, etc.). Now the downside that I experienced was that I ordered a steak medium rare and it came out blue. They were kind enough to take it back and let it cook a little more (found out that it continues to cook on the plate that night). They were able to get it to a nice medium rare. Now with a perfect doneness (medium rare for me) I was expecting a delicious steak, but it was lackluster. I can say that I have had a better steak from a handful of places. If you're someone who either likes their steak well done or you tend to drown your steak in A1 or other sauces, then come to Ruth's Chris to have a lovely experience with fantastic service. If you're a true steak connoisseur, please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

This was my first time at Ruth's Chris. I loved the atmosphere. The service was 5 stars. The food was cooked to perfection, and my favorite part was the sizzling plate. I love my food hot and the plate ensures every bite is piping hot to perfection. I highly recommend the creme brulee for dessert. Ot was the best I've ever had! Cooked to perfection and they used vanilla bean. Overall the experience st this location was 5 stars. Prepsre to spend but its so worth getting wonderful service and perfectly prepared food!

The food and service were excellent. Dan, our server was right there to answer every menu question. This was so delicious snd only pictures I was able to get. I'm not a big eater so I had food to take home. All 4 shared a cheesecake that was so awesome, and I don't like cheesecake. Dan sliced the cake into 4 pieces and served with fresh fruit. I was a guest so I wasn't sure about prices. Sorry.

I love dining at Ruth Chris The food atmosphere and service is always amazing tonight Asher took care of us he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! When dining ask for Asher he will not disappoint!!

I was very nervous about all the hype on this Steakhouse. My daughter-in-law from Montana asked to go here for her birthday. I did not care for the lobster bisque. The ambience was very upscale with nice artwork, a nice, romantic setting it was everything you would expect for upscale restaurant I got the ribeye steak I have to say honestly it was one of the best steaks I’ve had it just melts in your mouth, The lobster was cut to profession the stuffed mushrooms were delicious. The lobster mac & cheese was mouthwatering they were not stingy on the alcohol. The drinks were delicious. The desserts the crème brûlée was Crystal on top just perfect The bread pudding was a little stingy but tasty. The cheesecake was interesting. I did not find it to be over the top. It was just OK. We had seven people 11. Alcohol drinks. Seven. Desserts. Three appetizers Seven. Main entrées of steak. Here comes the sticker shock it was $900 The average meal for one person is $100 with no alcohol beverage It was absolutely delicious

Great service and dog friendly!! I always enjoy my night out better when I find a place that is so pet friendly. The food was delicious, every bite flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ravioli was amazing!!!!!! The waiters were all super attentive and thoughtful throughout the entire meal from start to finish. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We have a dinner for two tender loin steaks, lobster mac & cheese, brussel sprouts and cheese cake & chocolate cake. The steak were perfectly cooked! Everything was really good. One of the best meals I have had in a long time.

The food was good, expensive but good. I am a frugal person tho. I put a long sleeve shirt on before we went because they keep those places pretty cool, and wouldn’t you know it the AC was out, so I was hot and borderline uncomfortable, so call ahead so you can dress accordingly. The management was great, comp me a drink.
