Good, consistently good. Have stopped at this location often, and today for a quick bite with sales guy who had never been to a Lion's Choice before - he was positive about the food, had French dip sandwich. My extra meat cheddar sandwich was good too, as are the fries, and service.
First time going and being from NC it reminded me of Arby's but better. Friendly service and great food
I've always liked Lion's Choice, maybe more than Arby's - especially since Arby's got all snobby with their "meats" marketing and raised the prices while giving less meat.
Typically LC's sandwiches are cooked just right - tender, juicy, pink, full of flavor. And they are heavenly with a slice of Provel cheese. I could eat the large on a steak bun with Provel cheese every day if I could.
But I have to retract just one star this time because this time my sandwich was extremely dry. Almost sawdust kind of dry. And the bun\cheese had a burnt smell to it. It still had good flavor, but I normally don't drink when I eat, but this time I had to drink quite a bit due to the dryness. Also the drive through person did not give my credit card back with either the meal, drinks, or receipt. Unfortunately I was distracted and in a rush otherwise I would have noticed sooner, but I had to make another trip back to get my card. Why didn't they hand it back with the receipt?
Anyway, accidents happen but the food is normally great here.
It's really good and the food was excellent as usual I was just the fact that the diner was closed inside at 8 and we had to get it to go
Had a quiet dinner with friends. Service was fabulous, food was pretty good too. Recommend the pizza!!
I've heard about this place, living out of state. Had to stop by when I saw it. It's so good, I wish there was a way to get it shipped on ice out of state.
