What a great little Mexican restaurant in the center of downtown. I of course had the fajitas as that is all that I have at Mexican restaurants so I can do a real comparing contrast. I would give the fajitas there a seven. Overall, still five stars as my two people that I went with had a chicken salad and another very tasty main entree.

Went for the 1st time with my son's. The food was amazing and I like the large portions being about 210lbs. I was very impressed with the large strawberry margarita drink they had. Best I've had yet. Being a military vet and firefighter never really needed to prove my manhood by a drink. I just drink what I like and it was very good. Will go back again.

As a first time customer I will say the restaurant is nicely decorated and the location is great. We arrived at a great time as there were only a few people in the restaurant. My parents and I order the chimichanga grande. The portions for us were perfect and a even a little extra. Our only complaints were the queso sauce that was added on top of our chimichanga seemed to be a little on the light side as the there was so much chimichanga to eat, it could have used a little more queso. And although the salsa was very flavorful it was very mild. I did order the chipotle sauce (which I really enjoyed) and that made up for the queso I was wanting. I would recommend Sol de Mexico and we plan on returning for the fajitas as they looked and smelled amazing!

David provided excellent and attentive service. I say that because he laughed at my terrible jokes, which means he’s a good sport! I had the Quesadilla Huastecas of which chicken was better than steak, but both were great. Great margaritas and friends made a great evening. Don’t hesitate. This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area!

I didn’t expect this place to be as good as Chevy’s. But it it! We ordered the trio fajita: chicken steak and shrimp for 2 and tacos. Best steak and shrimp. Great flavor! $30 for 2 people. Not a bad price. Tacos were extra $3 for each taco but worth it. It comes with beans, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce and flour tortillas. You also get chips and the salsa is delicious. The salsa is spicy, not recommended for kids or someone who doesn’t eat spicy food. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back! This was a carry out order. Order was ready in 15 minutes. Worth the drive if you live in The Villages, Mt. Dora or Eustis!

Sol De Mexico was recommended to me by a co-worker. My family first went here a couple of Christmas Eve's ago and it has now become a tradition! We have been hard pressed to find authentic Mexican good since we moved from California many years ago. This place truly hits the mark! The food is tasty and flavorful, portions are a great size, and the drinks are very tasty, especially the sangria. The atmosphere is what really brings us back. Cozy, authentic and welcoming! The staff go above and beyond and are quick. I recently met my family here on my lunch hour and I was in and out, back to work in plenty of time. The only small, small issue I had recently was with my taco salad. I was not sure why there were croutons in there but not something I would ding them for. I also was not too big of a fan of the fried ice cream but that was just me. Downtown Eustis is an awesome area anyway to visit! Small, quaint, shops to explore and the lake and park across the street. Highly recommend visiting this place with the First Friday Street Party Eustis has! Good food and good fun!

Awesome atmosphere and food. Great servers. The outside tables are great. It's so hard to find quality Mexican food. Big portions. You will not go away hungry! Well worth the trip. We will be back.

This place is the BEST! WONDERFUL food, served quickly by very attentive staff. Priced very well. 5 stars all the way! Worth having to park some way away and a short walk.

Service was good and atmosphere was nice. Sat outside which was lovely and much quieter. Taco salad needed more flavor. Just a huge portion of ground beef slapped on top of the lettuce. Will try more options.

Really liked this place. The art on the outside of the building really makes it standout. The inside is very vibrant and inviting. The hostess sat us very quickly. Waitress got our drink order immediately, took our order quickly, and the food was out very fast. Presentation was great and it tasted every bit as good as it looks. Very clean, our waitress was very friendly, and personable. Didn't just take our orders, but chatted with us, and she was very kind. Definitely recommend and will be back next time we are in the area!

Stopped in here for a day date with the hubby. Parking across the street was easy and our server Mario was very pleasant and courteous. I didnt have to ask him to refill our drinks, he already knew when to do so. I ordered the grande chimi dinner and my hubby ordered the sol platter. The food came out quick and it was delicious. My only complaint would be the chimi was not as fried as I would have liked it to be but definitely great flavors with the ground beef that was inside. It was very clean inside and had a tiny moldy smell, but hey its Florida it smells like that just about everywhere! I am a stickler about my tacos. My hubby's plate had a taco and I was disappointed to see it was a prefabricated taco shell instead of a fried corn tortilla. I won't be ordering any tacos from here but I will be returning to try something different and see how clean their bathrooms are.

Good solid Tex-Mex food. Nothing inspired, but very good. I ordered a side of chopped fresh jalapenos to put in the salsa. Margaritas we're okay, but I am a fresh ingredients for my margaritas kind -a- guy. Not so much a premix fan, but I drank it all. So.......what can I say? I will definitely go back and sit outside on their front patio which looks out on a cool alley with brick walls. So bottom line is. This is not an OMG we just had the best Tex-Mex food ever, it is more of a "well that was good." As a matter of full disclosure, I lived in Houston for 32 years so I am a little pickier than most people in Florida would be, I think.

Delicious! We were a party of 9. Went right when it opened. The rice is great! The kids all devoured the chips and salsa. Very good salsa recipe and the queso was good! Sangria had complementary flavors. Would definitely come again.

Quick fast friendly service. I had the soft crispy tacos with beef and they were excellent. They serve you chips and salsa and boy the chips and the salsa are homemade and taste great. Prices are very reasonable and I would go back any time in in Eustis.
