Great little place. Easy to miss! We were looking for a place to eat and found Camellia Street Grill on Google Maps. It had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. The place has a quaint, tropical vibe... very down to earth. And it's waterside. You can sit indoors or outside. My son spotted a gator and you can see people enjoying airboat rides. The food was great as was the service. During a meal a pretty big thunderstorm hit unexpectedly and we had to move inside. The waiter and waitress were very accommodating and even gave us a deck of cards to pass the time while the storm let up. They also have great key lime pie! We'll definitely be returning!

Walking up to the place, it looked a little sketchy but trust me, go in!! Once inside, the staff was super sweet and our food was de-li-cious! While you’re there, sit out on the deck by the water and enjoy your food, company and character of the place!

Soon as you drive up you think “Old Florida”. Food was good, view is spectacular and Terri the owner is very personable. A must try.

We were surprised and happy - very happy - to find a place that offered delicious vegan food (not just a make-do salad, but real selections) AND a fabulous view of the water. We saw our first manatees while enjoying dinner. Friendly people, good super-fresh food, great view - perfect!

We had an awesome experience! The place is very eclectic, so if you're looking for a fancy, classy restaurant this place isn't for you. It's a hodgepodge of decos but a really fun place. Excellent food and service, music on Friday's and Saturday's, and beautiful views.

Five plus stars. You casually walk in, place your order and they give you a number card! On slow nights you can choose your table and the food is delivered! Delicous selection of wine beer and fountain drinks. Best Fresh seafood and service ever! Gorgeous ambiance. Can't say enough!

Certainly a unique place. The food was really great. The portions a little small. My oysters were awesome. I loved the eclectic landscape though I think it could be cleaned up just a tad. The little pond was beyond green.

We were out touring around and found this homey little place. Loved the food the atmosphere and the service was very helpful. Being new to some seafood we asked for suggestions and we went with that and it was delicious. If ever back in that neck of the woods I will go back.

Had a wonderful dinner here. The roast pork on rice was so tender and tasty. The arugula salad was fresh and just the right size. Also loved the scallops. Generous portions and very friendly staff.

We brought our fresh catch of the day and they did an amazing job cooking our fish. Loved the salad & appetizers also. Just know that even sitting inside, because the doors are open, the mosquitoes are very annoying, due to the lovely waterside location. Be prepared and bring repellent. We didn't and had to flee, instead of hanging out. 🫣

Good quality food maybe a little pricy for some but the quality is outstanding. Next deck over the water for outdoor eating. Really good key lime pie 😋

We always head here when Joanie's Crab Shack is closed. The grouper sandwich is always good and a nice large portion of fish. The special was cobia! A nice surprise and so fresh. Love their vinegar base coleslaw. I just miss Joanies crab cake. 🙄

The Shrimp Tacos were really good. I probably should have got fries instead of salad for the side, as the salad was mostly just the same lettuce as in the taco so it was a bit redundant. Everything was fresh and tasted good. It is on the more expensive side, and there is no AC since it's all outdoor seating. It was nice eating by the water.

I came down to South Florida to explore the Everglades, so in my quest to visit all four of the visitor's centers, I passed by Everglades City. Some quick research told me that this place was the place to go. So in I went for a nice, riverside lunch. Plenty of seating, even with a decent line at the register. When I got to the front of the line, I asked for some advice, and I got some pretty darn good advice. I can't find a good menu for them, so I don't have exacts, but I can paraphrase. I opened up with some she crab soup. The only thing that matters with crab soups is how much crab is in it, and there was a decent amount of it, so I was pleased with that. I was also pleased with the crispy fried wonton strips that were served with it for nice dipping and nice added texture. Very nice stuff. I also got a fried grouper finger basket with some nice, thick-cut sweet potato fries. Excellent breading. Not too much, adhered nicely, added a nice crisp. I also like the thick fries, because you get to taste the actual sweet potato, very nice. The only thing I was noticing in this meal was a lack of seasoning. Doesn't surprise me. What is probably their main clientele demographic isn't used to seasoning. But that's ok. Not the end of the world. Finally, I got the big feature on their menu that day, the stone crab tacos. No lack of flavor here! That sweet crab meat needs no seasoning. Very delicious. And it was topped with a beautiful slaw that added acidity and freshness and crisp. Very happy with these tacos. Turned this experience from a four to a five star, for sure. Overall, there were a few places in town to choose from, but if you're reading this, take my word for it, this place will not disappoint.

Food is fresh and beer is local. Nice service strategy. You get to the order line and place your order and get the drinks while your order is completed. Food is taken to your table and at the end you pay. No waitress taking orders at the table or problems with the time of preparation. Simple and yet very efficient. Highly recommend the she crab soup... So yummy!

Really cute restaurant….I loved the “pieced together” aesthetic. The longer I looked around the more random things I found like quotes or a sink planter. The food seemed overpriced for the quality but I suppose being the only restaurant really in the area they can charge whatever. Sweet potato fries where okay but more than half where too crunchy but the key lime pie was pretty great.
