Food was decent. Had Straberry salad (good) and chicken Alfredo. There was 4 small pieces of chicken in the entire dish. I expected the dish to have one full chicken breast. The meal brought out was cold. Enjoyed our server and atmosphere was good. This particular meal receives a D+
Nice place to take a break from the sled dog races. The waiting system worked nice and we got a nice table. Lunch menu has large variety of choices. The soup was hot and very tasty. My sour dough sandwich was a bit over cooked, but not bad. Next time thru will try something else.
Dinner + dessert were excellent...salmon entree w/risotto cake (which was a bit too over-fried) + pistachio cheesecake. Server was very pleasant + attentive. 4 instead of 5 only because of no vegetarian offerings which is unusual now a days. Only option wld be to hold meat/fish on those menu items that come w/out meat red sauce. But, all in all, a great little restaurant!
While the restaurant wasn’t very lively the Friday night we went for food, the flatbread was amazing. I would definitely come back just for that.
Happy hour was great. Good selection of beers for $5 and a decent house wine. The meatball app was excellent and the parmesan fries were good. Also had the ribeye which was very good, another in our group had the parmesan chicken which they enjoyed. The star of the show was probably the happy hour meatball dish.
First of foremost, the ambiance in the basement is amazing. The soft lights and decor make it feel fancy but at-home. The pasta (fettuccine) was as good as it gets for pasta. There was a rich flavor to the sauce that can only be found here and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The one piece of criticism that I can offer is the ordering process. Our waiter took forever to write down our order and it felt awkward waiting for them to do so. When I’m paying upwards of $20 per dish, I expect them to be quick about writing it down. Other than that, the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. I’m happy with the experience and I plan to return.
Good food; nice atmosphere; good service. American sized portions. I had salmon starter which was really good. I recommend to share the (huge) deserts
Excellent food and service. It's never busy on weekday evenings so it's nice quiet place for a delicious dinner. The appetizer meat plate is especially yummy
