This was a great dinner spot on the Friday night my wife and I arrived in Fairfax for the first time. It had all the qualities we were looking for, a great dinner menu, indoors seating, full bar, and a location right in the downtown area. The service was outstanding, with Tyrone taking care to make sure we were happy and well fed, and he was very informative and knowlegeable of the menu and the specials. The food was top notch, the salmon special was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, the Crab Cakes were exquisite, and the meatballs were tender and delicious. The Beet Salad could have used some more beets and less greenery, but it was also a great dish. Would definitely come back again next time we are in the area!

Pancakes were surreal; I highly recommend the Pear and Almond. My corn beef has was pretty solid but the coffee, service, and outdoor patio are what really make this place top notch. Will be back next time in town, cheers

After the first sip of this perfect cappuccino, I knew I was going to post a review. Exceptional service. My Denver omelet was cooked perfectly, with slightly charred chunks of ham, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and green peppers. My mom's meal came with a freshly made currant scone and lemon curd. We passed the scone around the table, just delicious. We'll definitely be back for breakfast.

Great place to eat. My aunt and I were greeted by the owner and executive chef. We were seated quickly and given a few moments before being waited on. She ordered the BLT on sourdough with lentil soup. This sandwich was huge. It not only had the bacon, lettuce, and tomato, but avocado, and much more. The soup was very thick, rich, and earthy. It had a pop of cumin at the very end of each bite. She had a glass of water with lemon. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. It came with a fresh delicious coleslaw and piping hot crispy french fries. Now, before I give the review for the great things I must make a few reviews of disappointment. My aunt asked for her sandwich to be cut in quarters, but it was only cut in half. She asked for extra mayonnaise, but they didn't do so. My BBQ pulled pork sandwich was ice cold except for the bread. Now, comes the fun part. The wait staff was very polite and helpful. They checked us a few times. They brought my aunt a small bowl of mayonnaise. They brought me a small dish of ranch for my fries. When I said something about my sandwich being cold, the waiter apologized immediately and the owner personally retired my sandwich. This is true customer service. I recommend this great place for lunch, breakfast, and dinner. True ole fashion service, terrific food, excellent prices, and everything you expect from a great resturant. If you live in or near Fairfax go here. If just visiting or passing through, and hungry here is your place. Just one more thing, the owner as waited on tables, bused tables, and took orders. I love when owners are directly involved with their places.

Absolutely delicious food vegan and vegetarian friendly. The staff is friendly and attentive, plus the energy is enjoyable for families, couples, and if you are by yourself you will feel comfortable too. Tried the breakfast menu and what we choose was absolutely delicious! You should try it.

After our hike we stopped by to have dinner and we were so pleased with the service. The quality of the food was excellent very fresh and great portion size! Chef Alex really makes the food taste delicious you can tell he loves what he does! Ty was our waiter very attentive. Tony the owner even came by to chat with us and made sure everything was good. He made me a latte that was great, even had a cute heart art on the top! I will be back to try the breakfast and lunch menu!

We explored the town of Fairfax today. The barefoot cafe was delicious. I had the salmon salad, my husband had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, my son had a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and not pictured my daughter and her boyfriend both had the portabella mushroom sandwich. All of our food was yummy, the service excellent. Portions generous.

Barefoot lived up to the hype. Food is excellent, good portions and very attentive service. Two eggs over easy cooked perfectly, 4 big strips of delicious bacon, breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly. Really enjoyed my breakfast here, every aspect of it! Highly recommend this business.

Outside bistro tables in front and on the side of the restaurant offer a good option for outdoor dining during Covid. They are also in the process of adding a few picnic tables for additional seating. Food was very good.

We sat inside by a window and felt like we were in a little French Cafe. There was only one server and he was very busy. The pancakes and eggs were cooked well and the sausage was think and juicy all was delicious

Quaint little cafe with outdoor seating. Lovely atmosphere. The chicken salad was a little heavy on the water chestnuts for my taste but had a good flavor.

Nice menu, nice outdoor seating. We came here for lunch but I really was mostly interested in the current scone with lemon curd, as I had heard it was amazing from a few people. Unfortunately they were sold out at the time we went, so I ended up just getting one of the Hashbrown dishes. It was good, nothing fancy. My daughter's chicken finger and fries plate was a nice portion and the fries were great. My husband's burger was juicy and delicious. The other people we were with had breakfast dishes that looked nice and filling. Nice little spot.

We appreciated a breakfast café with outdoor seating open before most of the other downtown businesses on a Sunday. The chorizo omelette was a winner, the coffee thick as high-test rocket fuel, & the orange juice fresh-squeezed.
