Hungry tourists from Maine just passing through Fairfax took a chance on a cute little hole in the wall Italian restaurant and hoped that it tasted as good as it looked. It was an excellent choice! We had spaghetti with Napolitano sauce, cheese ravioli with Bolognese sauce, and the crepe cannelloni. All were excellent. We also splurged on Tiramisu and cheesecake (and truly wonderful coffee), and our only regret was that the dessert portions were nearly as large as the entrée portions and at the end of the meal we were stuffed. Anyone looking for a wonderful homestyle Italian meal should definitely check out Fradelizio’s!
P.S. Our waiter was a wonderful older gentleman who was almost better than the meal!
Service and food was amazing. Last Italian meal before going back to Alabama totally served up. Love fairfax and the people there. This was a gen that we found and really enjoyed it
Fradelizio's has been my go to restaurant forever. The 5 stars are as much for its ambience, excellent affordable wine (get a carafe), and great service as for the food. Makes you feel like an old friend..even on your first visit...and leave with both body and soul satisfied.
The food is excellent and the is amazing. Along with Charlie and Jeanne best owners around
Just moved to San Anselmo and of course had to try this amazing Italian restaurant first day in town. Wow! The Gnocchi was Fricken amazing. Tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had. Thank you!
Great food, wonderful service! One of my favorites!
We have been eating there for years it's always great. Try it you will like it.
Definitely worth the drive....food is always delicious and the service is awesome.
It was a third date -- one that I do feel is contributing to some very significant memories -- and my date took me here. It was fabulous -- service, food, atmosphere (ok, and the company!). Heard the heartbreaking story of chef Jose -- please look for his gofundme page. ❤️

It's amazing, cool crew , great service and the Owner Mr Fradelizios gives you this welcome that makes you feel like home every time and FOOD yummyyyyyy like no place else ....
Wild boar ravioli is delicious.
A true family vibe here. Great for a casual bowl of soup (don't miss the creamy New England clam chowder) to warm your bones after a chilly day.
Ambiance equally fits the bill for a boistrous celebration or a romantic meal. Well trained long-term staff is friendly and attentive without being disruptive to your conversation.
For you wine lovers, their house wines fresh from the barrel are a treat you don't want to miss.
The warm authentic Italian sourdough from local famous bakery (obviously using a gorgeous well-fed and aged starter) is often what sparks my desire to go in and see what they have on special for me to sop up with the crust.
If you can manage to finish the generous portions, you'll clean your plate with this delicious bread.
If not, you'll have a terrific lunch tomorrow.
If you're nearby and have not visited Fradelizio's, get yourself correct!
You'll thank me later.
Was on my way to another spot, but ended up stopping here instead, after walking by and seeing the great vibe of their outdoor space. Such a lovely, shaded place with well laid out tables to people watch. All of the staff were so friendly with myself and anyone who came in - this really stood out to me and made me want to leave this review. Had a delicious glass of rosé! Thank you!
Great ambiance, old school Italian. Yummy gnocchi w/ panchetta & cream sauce. I added grilled prawns that were soooooooo delicious tender perfectly cooked. I could eat a BUCKET of those prawns!!! Enjoyed it!!!

Amazing food, service and ambiance... The wine is very unique here :)
Wonderful food and great service. Very customer friendly venue, first time visit.
While the lasagna I had was way too cheesy for me, the staff were all really kind and the atmosphere is great. My friend had the steak and loved it. I recommend this restaurant- just be sure to advise about how much cheese you want if you order the lasagna.
This was the first place I ate when I visited California. I make sure to come back every time I'm in town. Authentic Italian made by owners who care about quality. Prices are reasonable for Fairfax CA.
Love it. We were on a day trip and just saw it from the road. So why not try something new.
- Quality Italian food. Pasta mainly of course.
- Delicious bread. Probably one. of the best I've tried in the US ( In general most of the US bread is not eatable.)
- Local salmon ( maybe for someone it is important)
- Really nice people serve you. Thank you so much guys.
We tried chicken and salmon and kids pasta( Yes l, they have a kids menu). Lovely place with awesome food.
Spend about $90 with tips.

A wonderful place with AMAZING food, attentive staff, and a delightfully calm atmosphere. The bread was incredibly fresh with a perfect crust. For the dishes I had: The ceasar salad had a delicious, obviously from-scratch dressing. The butternut squash ravioli with the sage butter sauce was *to die for* -- incredible flavor and something that inspires savoring. This restaurant doesn't mess around or skimp out on quality. If you want delicious food for a reasonable price, this is the place.
One of our favorite places to eat out in Marin. Plus, they have the best red wine 🍷. Everyone that works there is super nice. 5 stars!
Fradelizios is a sweet oasis. The food, the service, the ambiance is all lovely. The staff has been there forever and they have "old school" attention to detail and service. Everything is good on the menu but the housemade lemon fettuccine is yummy.
One of the best and most affordable Italian restaurants in the county. The food ingredients are locally sourced and they offer delicious barrel wines. The service is always excellent. Food with a heart.
I had a wonderful dinner! I had fresh off the boat salmon (amazing and local), amazing wine, and lets face it...amazing bread too! The service was fast and very friendly. We ate on a warm evening, so they had there huge windows open, which was a nice touch because it gave airflow. I recommend eating here.
We had the salmon and the hangar steak. both were Excellent!!
I do not know where to begin nor how to describe the meal that my friends and I had! The plate called Meyer Lemon Fettuccine with Fresh Seafood with White Sauce was PHENOMENAL!! It was thee best pasta I had ever tried. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I was so concerned with how much was being added with the many varieties of seafood in the dish that I was worried that flavors would clash. This dish by far was our table’s favorite meal. All 6 of us were craving for more as we shared it amongst ourselves. The Risotto was surprisingly unique with it having the appearance being only creamy but to have such an enjoyable crunch with every bite. You would not have expected such a delicacy to fool you in such a pleasant way. We ordered a Peppered Steak cooked medium rare and it was seared just right where the outside was cooked well and the center remained pink with the glaze keeping you mesmerized with every bite. This place truly was 5 stars and the service was too.
