First time here for us. The food was excellent! The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy as can be, and all the produce fresh. The fish and chips were really good too- not overly greasy. The fish came with a malt vinegar sauce on the side that I thought was heavenly!

Holy lord, this place was amazing! I was floored. When we first got there, I'm like meh, this will be nice. As far as a pub restaurant, yes, it was great, BUT THE FOOD, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! They also had a live traditional Irish band, which was perfect because it wasn't the loud, obnoxious music where you can't even hear yourself think. This will definitely become a regular spot for us!

The fish and chips featured haddock, lightly battered. The fries were common, but the fish very good. Their Reuben was also quite good with very tender corned beef and pretty damn good rye bread with. They seem to make their own sauces as I detected the russian dressing on the Reuben to have a non-bottled taste. The starter sauce was also a bit different than any I've tried; no dill or pickle relish. The potato salad was decent. Only had 1 beer, a Pabst on tap, but it was clear they keep their beer lines clean. Will return. The patio is smoke friendly, which I find refreshing in this woke world even though I only smoke cigars which are permitted later at night when most of diners are finished.

My husband and I visited Fairhope for a long weekend and found McSharry's on our first day. I'm not sad to say we returned to this venue every night of our stay. Among all the bars we visited we found McSharry's to be the most fun, the best value for your buck, and the most genuine staff! They had live music every night, great drinks, and do not pass up the late night nachos!!
