A quality diner that does not disappoint. I've never left the beacon without that feeling of having had a quality meal. Although there are plenty of options here in the diner capital of the world, the Beacon still stands out and has become one of my favorites.
This diner has always been a gem for our area. Their recent renovation made the place modern, but yet with that cozy feel that good diners have. The food is always exceptional and all the waiters and workers are tremendously respectful. We always order pancakes 🥞 for bfast because they are the best !

I really liked the restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the good was really good. I would have gave it a 5 stars but the crepes I got were filled with what tasted lemon meringuey. She had told me it was more of a cream cheese Danish filling which I was excited about. I didn't eat my food but I tasted some of my wife's and friends and it was really good.
This isn't a complaint.... It is more of a critique... I hope you guys read this. Please pick a GOOD recipe for your food and have your chefs STICK TO IT.
On weekends, you guys make one of the best Penne vodka in the area..... its DELICIOUS... and on the weekdays, it is the most bland, tasteless thing we've ever had. Your customers shouldn't have to guess and hope to go eat there on a day the "good" chef is working. If you find your good chef, have him write down his good recipes and everyone else follows it everyday because it is VERY obvious when its different people.
besides that.. I still like this place.
I'm staying with a friend who lives nearby and I curse the day I ever heard the words "Beacon Diner." I've had breakfast, dinner, and desserts from this diner in the two weeks that I've been here and I haven't been disappointed by anything. The breakfast skillets in particular are delicious. The portions are huge and they somehow taste even better the second time! I'm fairly certain this diner is going to become a must-visit for me anytime I'm remotely in the area.
