Incredible stop worth making along lonely 50. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, even allowing free overnight RV camping. Make sure you eat and drink while you're here; food is above average and prices are cheap! Hats are only ten bucks so grab one of those, too. Definitely a one of a kind not to be missed.

My SO and I spent several days here evacuated from a wildfire. We couldn't have found a better place to call home. Middlegate Station is composed of a restaurant/bar, gas station, and motel with plenty of room to roam. I would highly reccomend Middlegate Station as a base camp for all your adventures in the area. The people - everyone we met was accommodating and kind. Over our stay we got to know the staff and felt truly welcomed and looked forward to coming in for meals, drinks, and playing pool. The food - the food was always fresh and well priced. I loved everything I tried and look forward to coming back for more. The motel - it's a motel, not the Ritz. It is warm, well priced, and comfortable. The location - this is the perfect spot for making trips to nearby locations like Austin. However, we had a great time at Middlegate and wouldn't mind just staying there. The stars are incredible, a gorgeous sunrise and sunset every day, and a variety of wildlife. Overall, we were beyond impressed after coming to Middlegate for a place to rest. We look forward to coming back and exploring more in the area.

Small place in the middle of nowhere. Staff is friendly, laid back environment, the food is really good. Ordered a Monster Burger to split between 2 adults and it was more than enough food. If you’re going through here on Highway 50 it’s definitely worth a stop!

Hidden Gem in the Desert…On what is known as the loneliest Highway, you come across this “Must Visit Spot on US50/SR361. Food is yummy with an incredible staff. Atmosphere is great and an all around place where you can unwind and take a break from your travels. If visiting for the first time, bring some memorabilia you can pin on the wall to make your mark.

Cool desert bar/restaurant to stop on the loneliest hwy. Big dirt parking area for big rigs. Can boondock, eat (full menu breakfast, lunch & dinner) drink (full bar). We stayed the night pretty quiet except for the buzzing of the bar generator. Big truck traffic started at about 5am.

If you find yourself on US-50 in southern Nevada, you have to check out Middlegate Station, a piece of American history. Loads of personality, friendly staff, a a really good Western Burger.

Located on highway 50 in Nevada, which is called the Loneliest Road in America. This is in the middle of nowhere. Stop and support them. The burger was very good. I enjoyed it a lot. Very nice place too to visit.
