I love this place! My boyfriend and I keep coming back whenever we are craving seafood. Call ahead to order your food since they cook everything fresh. That means when you order your crawfish and other seafood were alive twenty minutes ago! Call ahead because it can cut down your wait time for food. Crawfish: nowhere else can you get amazing crawfish like this place. Chasin tails got nothing on this place. This place serves live crawfish even when crawfish isn't in season. They give you the option for live or frozen. At least they don't trick you like some other places. Don't expect the crawfish out of season be full or that amazing, because they aren't in season, but when they are in season. Holy smokes...best crawfish in the whole Virginia, Maryland, dc area. We usually get butter and garlic medium sauce. If you like it spicer, asks them for a spicy sauce on the side. Other seafood: usually we come here for the crawfish, but the other season is just as amazing as well like the snow crabs, king crab, clams, shrimp, lobster... drool! Their gumbo is also so good! When we first got it, the owner said she grows the veggies in her garden. It's not always available since it always get sold out during dinner and lunch rush hour. Service: this place can get super busy during the weekend. The service is what you would expect at a Chinese place, and this is owned by a Chinese lady and her Vietnamese husband, usually if it gets busy, people end up grabbing water or tea for themselves, they don't seem to mind, but don't expect 5 star service. You come here for the amazing food. She also loves talking to you and is very friendly. They also do really cool raffles sometimes. They also get live crawfish from their farm in Louisiana everyday. Follow them on Facebook and she uploads pictures every time they go to the airport to pick up their crawfish. They also have specials! Ask them there or check out the specials on Facebook. I love this place, and even when they offered the Groupon, we never bought it because we love this business so much, we love supporting her business.

While in Orlando, Florida, we had gone to a Vietnamese Cajun style seafood restaurant that we enjoyed very much. We are so glad to find this place that is very similar in taste. The owners are very nice and the food was delicious! We love the butter garlic flavor that we chose for our blue crabs and snow crabs. Their soft shell crab was also amazing. This is a one of a kind place, so if you like Cajun style and you love shellfish, then give this place a try! I will definitely come back soon for more goodness!

I am a crawfish/seafood genius. The best Asian and original New Orleans blend ever. They are limited on seating but it's your mom and pop joint. Don't expect typical American spoiled service. enjoy the experience because it's worth it!

I had been to this place for 5 years , and the crawfish is always fresh , and me & all my friends & family all like it here ! I come here to pick my live crawfish twice a week ! We had been tried all other crawfish in this area , this is the only place I can finish 5 lb by myself ! And I don’t go to anywhere any more ! Even though I live in silver spring , it takes me 45 mins to drive to pick up my live crawfish !

Our first time there today and hands down they have the best snow crab legs in the DMV area! They were very meaty and it was sweet crab meat. Well worth the money! Also the have some good hush puppies. Can't wait to go back.

Food is always the best . Spicy . Fresh not frozen seafood . Pricy but not over priced . Highly recommend .

We love this place so much we drive 45 mins to get it. Always fresh, i suggest calling the order in first so it can be ready when you get there.

We placed an online order for the next day at 6-6:20. I had to call the store to verify they received the order (which mixbowl told me to do after they hadn’t accepted the order once it was sent to them). The order ended being ready an hour late and the customer service was really not great. To be fair it was Father’s Day, they seemed pretty busy and we had a pretty big order. I really think that mixbowl needs to notify them more soon for online orders since it’s a made to order place. The food was really good tho. My husband is from Louisiana and he greatly enjoyed the crawfish. He thought the garlic butter was great and the crawfish were really good sizes! I don’t think ordering craw fish by the pound comes with corn, sausage, and potatoes so you need to order them on the side. We didn’t get the potatoes we ordered but they were like a dollar so it’s fine. The fried appetizer sampler we got was great, the oysters were soft and the soft crab was amazing. We also loved the Cajun fries. Overall it’s a great price and we’ll probably go back and just be prepared to order earlier

I have been eyeing this place for a long time I finally had an opportunity to try it on my birthday. I decided to try the oyster po boy and it was really good. The oysters themselves are not super fishy at all and the bread is light and crisp. They also added the sweet pickles that were at nice bonus. I will be going back!

Walked in here because I was in the area strolling through the neighbor hood. This place was fairly empty, but I was still curious to see the menu. This place appears to be a carry-out style establishment with about 15 tables in case you want to eat in, as well. The menu was fairly priced and they have lunch specials. The food is New Orleans style; the menu had typical fish items such as whiting, tilapia, catfish etc. They also had crayfish, shrimps, crab legs, and alaskan crab legs. They also have different seasonings and heat available. I ordered the steamed shrimp (head-on) lunch special, it also came with French fries and coleslaw. I ordered the medium heat with all the spice combinations. Well let me say, my food came in about 10 mins, I didnt mind the wait. The shrimp were tender, and spicy!!! The french fries were fried just right and the coleslaw did not have those nasty celery seeds!! The food was good, and the cook/server was very pleasant. There was a couple in there chomping away on their snow crabs and they informed me that they were tasty and not mushy. So if your ever in the neighborhood, stop in for lunch...or maybe even dinner
