Stopped in for lunch. Great location, right on Main Street in downtown Farmingdale. Lee was SUPER friendly and helpful. Extensive beer list - some unique beers that you won't find elsewhere + your typical bottled ones. So many delicious menu options made it hard to choose which to get! (We'll just have to go back a bunch of times & try them all!) We shared a cup of the baked, pulled pork mac & cheese. Cavatappi pasta with a homemade whiskey barbecue sauce mixed in with all the cheese then a subtle crunch from the panko sent it overboard. Delicious and comforting on this cold, wintery day. We each got a burger - "The Ugly" & "The Bistro". The Ugly was beautiful. The cheese sauce and chili that topped the burger had a slight kick due to the jalapenos. Absolutely incredible. (Get it with cajun fries for an extra kick of spice) The Bistro was cooked medium-well (as ordered) and was still extra juicy. The apricots gave a nice sweetness to the salty, thick cut bacon. Overall, great dining experience. Clean, friendly, cold beer and delicious food. They offer takeout and delivery through Uber Eats, also.

Been going to Republic Pub since 2018. It's a great pub located on Main Street in Farmingdale. Still love their Buffalo Mac and Cheese to this date! The staff are always so friendly here - shoutout to Jordan and Tim. Great place to hang out, grab a drink or go out on a first date! Great selection of beer for everyone and this is a place where you can go and have a conversation and actually here each other. Love Republic!

As in my star rating of 5, everything finds truth in drink choice, food, and friendly staff. Bartenders know their stuff and able to recommend drinks of choice depending on preference. Light beer to dark beer, they have what you want and need

Came in on a weeknight and had a great experience. There was bar trivia which was a pleasant surprise and the place was lively but we still were able to be seated instantly. There was a decent selection of draft beers, the waitstaff was helpful and knowledgeable. I ordered the ugly burger, it tasted amazing and was also cooked to a perfect medium. The fries were also hot and crispy. Everything was fantastic would definitely go back again.

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, and I love the rotating art on the walls. I actually picked up a piece to bring home as a souvenir!! Their loaded fries are the bomb. The sweet potato fries would make you slap your grandma for more, and the shepherds pie makes Ireland look like England. Seriously, if you've never been you have to come here. Best irish pub in the area, ans possibly the state!! Whenever I come back to this area in New York ill be stopping in.

Had the shepherd's pie for lunch , for two . Potato crust was nice and lumpy from fresh made spuds. The meat inside was tender and the mixed in veggies were nice and firm to the tooth. LOVED the brown gravy on it. The waitperson, Leigh , was a hoot to chat with. Ate our meal on the back outdoor patio which had nice plantings in it.

Great low key atmosphere and fantastic food. The bartender is always friendly and attentive. He remembered us after having been there only once a few weeks ago. It also has a nice outdoor seating area in the back.

Bar staff and food are all great and reasonably priced to my liking. Service is fast. And bartenders are good with remembering what I like as to my order is always particular no matter where I go. They know their taps very well. If u don't like one. They'll be sure to point you in right direction!

REPUBLIC ROCKS!!! A mega-fan of their sister restaurant, The Good Life in Massapequa, I can't say enough good things about this bar. The best part (besides the Epic draft board of delectable beer offerings) about this place is their bar-staff, Leigh especially. I've followed her through 2 other restaurant jobs, just for her level of customer service. Her spot-on recommendations of beer and food pairings never leave me wanting. She knows what I like (and DON'T like), and is extremely conscientious about your stay and experience, no matter how long or short. Leigh joining this bar and team is the best mix of two worlds, my favorite server and one of my favorite bars on the island. So chill in comparison to others on the same street, Republic seems to draw a more laid back, less 'loud' crowd. See y'all soon for more BEER HERE!!!!! 🍺

I really enjoy this place. Especially as a local. A nice selection of craft beer, a delicious food menu (honestly, you can't go wrong with anything) & a bunch of TVs to watch sports. One if the better Irish pubs to go to. Lots of seating for small joint.

Atmosphere was cozy. The bartender was welcoming and happy. The parking is good in the back. Food was tasty. Invited here through a Meetup function and very fortunate to have the opportunity.
