Service is great! It might seem a little expensive, but you get a lot of food for your money and it’s so worth it. Best steak I’ve ever had. Sometimes they even personalize your steak when it’s your birthday (if you ask nicely)! They don’t have desserts or sing, unfortunately. But I once saw a candle in a steak �.
Great for any event, whether it’s a family dinner, catching up for a friends birthday or grabbing a (big) bite before or after the game! Always good food and good service. If your lucky you might even get to privilege of meeting the owner �
Best Steak EVER. This is the best steak join in NWA. Granted, it is expensive and if I'm going to drop a lot of change on dinner I would like to dress up and this place is come as you are ... but that is refreshing too.

All About the Steak. If you want to have a great steak, without all the pretense of a Ruth's Chris or other "fancy" place, this is it.
This is a very "come-as-you-are" steakhouse, with vinyl table cloths and a roll of paper towels on the table.
I've been to this location several times, and the service has always very friendly and knowledgeable, which, let's face it shouldn't be too hard because there are only about 10 things on the menu.
Oh, did I mention the waitstaff is all cute chicks in their 20s? ++
They start you out with drinks from their full bar and a basket of saltines on the table. Both the wine and beer list is pretty good. Lots of seasonal options on-tap.
The menu is very basic. A few different cuts of steak, a fried shrimp dish and tamales. That's it. The steak is priced by the pound ($21-30 per pound based on the cut of meat you order if memory serves).
They bring you a salad that's pre-marinated in a lemony, oil-based dressing. It's very basic tossed lettuce, but I like it. Something to get you started.
But it's ALL about the steak. Out comes a huge slab of dry-aged, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked meat. Great sear and extremely juicy and tasty. You don't need steak sauce (unless you get it well done, in which case you should just go to Outback because you don't appreciate a great steak).
It comes with a side of deep fried biscuits, which are rich and very tasty. It's hard to limit yourself to just one. Also a side of boiled red potatoes, which are served plain (there's butter on the table). I get why people complain about them because there's no pizazz and it's something that any idiot with a pot of boiling water can make, but it doesn't matter to me. I didn't come here to eat potatoes.
There are also 3-4 different sides you can order, but they all lack the care and attention the steak gets. There's no creamed spinach or asparagus spears or scalloped potatoes like you find at fancy places. And to be fair, sides are literally $2-3. So you get what you pay for.
Last time I came we had a side of mushrooms and a side of green beans. The mushrooms were a great complement to the steak. But the green beans were mushy. I think they were canned. If I had one complaint it would be this pathetic excuse for a side. But whatever. I didn't come here to eat green beans either.
Overall though, if you come here for a few beers and a REALLY great steak, you won't be disappointed.
Excellent meal, great service, no pretense. If you want to go somewhere where you cam get a Great Steak and be yourself, go to Doe's Eat Place.
Favorite steak in town. Only red meat on this menu-try the tamales!
Overpriced. The food was delicious, but everyone at the table has to want the same thing and be willing to pay A LOT for it. I don't mind sharing a family-style meal, but the prices at Doe's are outrageous!

For the Big. Boys.. What can you say about Doe's that hasn't already been said. Love/Like/Ok/Bad/Exteme Hatred. If your looking for a small Filet with complex flavors and intricate sides, go to Theo's, its just around the corner. On the other hand, if you want a gigantic Ribeye, T-Bone, Strip, with potato's and bread then here it is... thats what Doe's is all about. People go into does with the wrong mindset. Id say for the most part its a "guys" restaurant, just look at the waitresses and you can tell who they are appealing to (not a bad thing). I like Doe's.

Best steak in Fayetteville. Used to b the best, but last few times not so much and just as expensive as ever. haven't been back in awhile, always go elsewhere now days.

It’s the place we go to celebrate and eat some steak. Always amazing. Always (overly) filling. Great staff and helpful service. Pretty pricey, but sometimes you just have to splurge. Not really COVID friendly. No one in the place wears masks and they give you an odd look 👀 if you are wearing one. We went in as early as we could before it got too crowded, but still risky.
Best steak ever,also corn and crab bisque was devine. Shrimp tasted like it was freshly caught. Very nice and professional staff. Awesome atmosphere would and have told people they need to go there.
Delicious!!!! Those little biscuits 😍 the tamales 😍 the steak was tender. 100 stars. Can't wait to go back. I love a small menu when the few items on the menu don't miss. Geez, that food was good.
Big steaks here. Big enough to share for two. Fries went good with the steaks. Their bread is really good. Expect to pay some money but worth it. Table seating saving with saddle seating. Yes horse saddles. Full bar at location and it's located near all the bars on the strip. Good place for dinner date or group of friends. Not a fancy place but more of a casual or relaxed place to eat.
I was skeptical of the porterhouse being as good as I had been told it was considering that it’s a huge piece of meat! But it was really something special, no doubt! I won’t forget it anytime soon 🤤. The simplicity of the menu and is awesome too. Great experience.
Wow! Great steak. Thick and juicy cooked to perfection. Salad was a little ok. But seriously I didn't come for the salad. Drop biscuits soak up the steak juice and are awesome!
