Love the new location. Very modern. The food portion is amazing as always. Excellent value.
Good place for a drink and Mexican meal. Don’t understand why it doesn’t show up on google maps restaurants. Have eaten there a number of times and always good food and service. Far better than some of the google rated restaurants at 4.3 - 4.5
Staff was very friendly and courteous. Food was amazing, portions still good! Mangonada is my favorite here!

Food is delicious. The Mango Margarita was amazing! The service leaves something to be desired.
Our waitress didn't even greet us, she just asked if we were ready to order. I don't know her name because like I said she didn't even greet us let alone introduce herself. When we hesitated she said, "I'll come back" and left. She never offered to help or suggest menu items or anything. Later I told her I wanted to order a cocktail. She never came to take my order. I just went to the bar and ordered for myself. I also had to get my table forks and napkins.
The interesting thing was we asked another waitress if we could order a drink and she told us our waitress had to get it. That was fine, but she didn't even go get our waitress for us. However, when our waitress came out of the kitchen, she zoomed right past our table and checked on the other waitress's table for her. Our waitress helped the second waitress with her table but the reverse wasn't allowed?
Our waitress acted as if we'd come too close to closing. I actually checked their closing time because she seemed so dismissive and hurried. We were actually 2 hours before closing. She never checked on us or offered us anything during our meal. We had to ask for everything.
My husband and I just had dinner here and it was amazing!! I had the Mondo burrito 1/2 chili Colorado and 1/2 chili Verde and it was perfect, beautiful on the plate and huge portion. My husband had the steak fajitas enough meat to eat 5 fajitas. Our waiter was Jose E. very friendly and got our order correct and brought to our table very quickly. Excellent experience and can't wait to go back. Thank you
Wanted to checkout the new location. Great decor reminiscent of modern restaurants in Mexico City. The host and bartender quickly greeted us, we decided to sit in the bar, good crowd for mid-day Saturday. They offer Happy Hour specials, 3-6pm, M-F. Good table distances, staff and patrons practiced good Covid protocols. Great service, received everything we requested. Please be kind, restaurants/staff going through tough times a little patience and appreciation goes a long way.
The new location is architecturally amazing and still has the same great service you expect of this place located in Federal Way, WA. I enjoyed my wedding anniversary here and they made me feel special without knowing it was my anniversary. Appreciate the wonderful manager and staff and I look forward to coming again!
Azteca has been a part of Federal Way since the ‘70’s. After closing in July 2020 due to Sound Transit, they have come back a 3rd time! Take out or delivery for now, the new location, updated interior and great Mexican food makes this one of the best restaurants in Federal Way!
