Great food. Friendly and fast wait staff. Selection and prices were fantastic. And the view from the top deck was fabulous.

Several friends recommended this place while on vacation. My steak tacos had an excellent garlic sauce, fries should have a more creative name as they are thick, potato curls, very unique, and blackberry margarita topped it all off for me. Boyfriend had ribeye, cooked perfectly, with grilled shrimp and fried plantains. Would definitely go back!

Food was excellent, locally caught shrimps and oysters from Louisiana. Waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly and two young men as bus boys were very polite. Highly recommend sitting upstairs, the view is great!

The Salty Pelican is an absolutely outstanding restaurant that offers a fantastic all-around experience. It boasts a full bar and an extensive menu with delicious food options to choose from. The numerous TVs allow you to catch your favorite sports team in action, and the breathtaking view of the marina from upstairs is simply mesmerizing. If you prefer dining in the open air, they have that option as well. The bartenders at The Salty Pelican are truly remarkable individuals, always ready to engage with you and provide helpful suggestions. The wait staff is not only incredibly prompt but also highly knowledgeable and efficient. During my visit, I ordered the blackened shrimp and fish, and it was prepared to perfection. The oysters were a bit on the small side, the only flaw from the meal. For a truly memorable experience, I recommend having dinner at or near sunset on a crisp, beautiful evening and relishing both a delicious meal and a stunning sunset. While it's true that the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the experience makes it well worth it. Parking might be a bit of a challenge, but it's worth the effort to find parking in the back. The Salty Pelican is a beloved spot among the locals, even on a Sunday night, so it's a good idea to arrive a bit early. I wholeheartedly give The Salty Pelican five stars across the board!

Good choice after several hours of walking around. We came here for the first time on the recommendation of our daughter and I can say that it is a good place to enjoy good food and a good atmosphere. I recommend it to share a good time with friends and the family. NOTE: very good service from the waitress (they work very hard 💪🏻) You guys are doing a good job!! keeping up. We will be back for taste other dishes.

We loved this place! Who knew they'd have the best food while in town. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was tasty and will 100% return next time we are in town. Arrive early, this place is quite popular.

Good pick. We ate on the early side so not too busy. Had no wait and food came out quickly. Service was very good. Serving sizes were big. We had the Fried Chicken Sandwich w/fries. And also oysters on the half shell a side Seasonal summer salad (which was huge for a side salad) and the Seafood Pot Pie- which my husband loved. If you look at other reviews almost everyone mentions how good it is. Would go back if ever in the area.

Such a great place for some delicious, large portioned food and appetizers. The gator bites and pretzel with cheese sauce were great, but the fresh trigger fish sandwich was absolutely amazing, AND the portions were huge. We got 3 days of leftovers from 3 sandwiches.... a wonderful surprise in today's prices to make our $ go further....

Fabulous! Little funky restaurant right on the waterfront and Fernandina Beach. They have the great combination of location, friendly staff and fabulous food. Started with a crab dip as an advertiser, and it was crazy. Good. The parmesan cheese crust on top... Ooh la la. Went with a waiter suggestion and got fried shrimp. It was delicious! Locally caught light crunchy batter, I couldn't stop eating it. Was delicious as well. Will definitely be coming back here! It is super popular so be prepared for weight or come early.

Great food and service In a great beach side atmosphere. I set upstairs overlooking the ocean. The crab dip is to die for. They have excellent drinks also. I highly recommend the taco Tuesday special. The restrooms and restaurant are very clean. I will be back .

Food was great, our waitress stayed on top of things. Drinks and food are a little pricey but to be expected for location. The chicken tenders were probably the best I've ever had, you can tell they are fresh not frozen.

The Salty Pelican is always great, lunch, dinner, weekdays, weekends, etc. We arrived on a busy Saturday evening. The food is definitely worth the wait, but the bar actually had four seats open up. All of the food was delicious and they have a great beer selection.

We stopped in for late lunch/early supper on our day trip to Fernandina Beach and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was quick, friendly and stayed on top of keeping our drinks refilled. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. My husband and I both got the shrimp plate (mine blackened and his fried) and they were so good! I highly recommend the fried gator bites with pelican sauce as well, even my four year old loved them!

Great food and views of the bay. Make sure to check in online to avoid the wait. Lots of great sharable appetizers that can be a meal themselves! The kids Mac n Cheese and Chowder were skips, but everything else was great!

Dinner was lovely at this restaurant and was the perfect ending to our Sunset Cruise. The Maine lobster roll was delicious and the gator bites were great. I would highly recommend coming here after a long day within the city.

If you are going for the sunset views, get there early (depending on the number of people in your party). There were only 2 of us, and we lucked up with balcony seats facing the water at sunset. The food was delicious. Starter: tuna nachos. I would go back and get the full order for my meal they were so good. Entrees: prime rib (Thursday special) & the broiled oyster trio. Both were excellent, but you really need to like blue cheese if you get the trio. (they don't skimp on the toppings!) Service was great and they won't rush you out at sunset.

So cool being on the upper deck bar and watching the boats 🛥️ go by and then the sunset 🌅. The server was really nice and sweet. Very attentive. We enjoyed the local brews and started with the crab dip. Followed by the fresh caesar salad. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp and fried shrimp 🍤. The train 🚂 came by on our way out and added a certain kind of vibe that made for a great dinner.

Indoor/outdoor sports bar & grill. If you’re there for the Sports drink inside. If you’re there for the view sit on the deck or patio. Typical Bahr food with a large seafood menu. prices are on the higher side but you’re paying for a great view.

Truly a great dining experience. I ordered raw oysters for appetizers and they were extremely fresh. For dinner I had the shrimp po boy and serving size was very generous. It comes with a side, and for a small upcharge I chose a cup of chowder. Delicious! Our server was very attentive in spite of how busy they were on a Saturday evening. Oh, and did I mention this was a great place to watch the sunset ?

First time eating here and will not do a second visit. Upon receiving my text, that table was ready. I checked in twice at the hostess stand and was told to wait a minute. Then, the hostess wanted to try and complain about how I had not checked in. Blackened ribeye ordered medium well. It was well by the time it reached the table. Gator bites were delicious. Veggie melody was alright, with no flavor but well cooked.
