Peppers is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant on the island. I have never had a bad meal or poor service. The manager and staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Even being downtown serving mostly tourists, they have never sold out by sacrificing quality to make more $. Oh, and the drinks aren't bad either!!! (heavy pours) �
Nice ambience, the service was spot on and polite, the food itself was excellent and arrived way faster than anticipated, parking may at times be a challenge but for the historic district its to be expected on a sat night, overall was a great experience and I would recommend this place to any mexican food lover!!!
Excellent service and plenty of vegetarian options! Our server Cliff was very helpful and even suggested his favorite vegetarian dish, which ended up being so, so yummy. Super pleased!
When we come down here we always try and go there 2 or 3 times during the week. The food is always good to us and the service is fast and the server very polite. We do enjoy this place

Phenomenal food, great atmosphere and an awesome server with great people skills... We would like to thank Bertha for the great and prompt service, made us feel like we were back in Southern California with family. Next time we're in Florida we will definitely be back at Pepper's for some delicious Mexican food. God Bless and continued success.
The food was wonderful! The shrimp tacos and the salmon tacos were amazing. Don’t forget to try the tropical margarita! Delicious!!

Overall our experience was good. Our waitress (who's tables were inside) was gracious enough to grab our table outside since the waiters on the patio didn’t speak to us for over 20 minutes. The food was good and the original wait to be seated was under 30 minutes. The food was good and I’d go back. They had the best blood orange margarita on the island.

We had a great family dinner here! Margaritas were delicious. Guacamole was excellent and the dishes were great. It is very noisy and hard to hear and that is why I gave a 4 for atmosphere. Olivia was an amazing server!!!
This is a really good Mexican restaurant in Amelia Island. Margaritas are awesome and food is delicious. We had a great time because our server Nicholas did an amazing job.
Good food and drinks. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is that the bartender, while being amiable, was not particularly friendly. Nor was she rude but she basically lacked any personality so that gets you marked down for service in my book.

The place is very nice, the atmosphere on the patio is great! There was live music and the singer was really good.
The service is ok. They could be a little more attentive... there has been a time when basically all the waiters disappeared and we didn't know who to ask for the check to!
The food is tasty but it seems like everything is pretty spicy, so it's kind of a problem for people like me that don't want anything spicy.

Food is great. Atmosphere is great on the patio for a nice dinner. Good salsa and drinks. The service is hit or miss. I had a great server one time. The next, very unattentive, meal orders were wrong, and had to ask other servers for drink refills. But if you are craving Mexican food, for not being in Texas, this is where I'd go.

Pepper's. What made me come here were the reviews while visiting Amelia island. Wait was over an hour. While we waited the staff couldn't even give us a cup of water for our young kids. Cup of water took 30 mins. Under staffed restaurant. After we get to the table service was fast. Food is good. But don't expect service. But if you have patience do try the place. Hopefully next time it's a better experience for us.
The food was delicious!!!! Our server was not very good. I asked for spicier salsa, and he said, "What is on the table had a little spice" I know they have spicier salsa because I have requested and received spicier salsa. I had to speak with the manager regarding another issue with the server. Great food, and the manager made everything turn out great.
I really enjoyed Pepper’s Cocina Mexicana. It was one of the nicest and upscale Mexican restaurants I’ve been to which is a plus. The food deserved a solid 4 stars. I wanted to be a little healthier, and they were accommodating in replacing my rice and beans for mix veggies.
Next time I want to try the drinks maybe for dinner. I think I need to make a weekend stay in Fernandina and try this restaurant one more time. Overall, a really nice experience.
Pepper's is a highly recommended mexican restaurant in Fernandina Beach! Their fresh salsa is bursting with flavor, the enchiladas are absolutely delicious, and their margaritas are the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely glad we stopped by for dinner! 🌮🍹😄
