Very good and tasty entree (seared grouper quesadillas and dozen raw oysters). Good service, good prices and just a good neighborhood restaurant atmosphere. Wish we had visited earlier in our trip. Go here before getting screwed at Barbara Jeans.
It ain't fancy, but it is delicious!. Don't let its location behind a gas station or the row of harleys motorcycles out front deter you - this is classic seafood comfort food at a wonderfully affordable price. Especially considering it is on the edge of a touristy town like Fernandina. The staff is warm and their outdoor patio area is breezy. This is the kind of place you don't just visit once, you come back again and again!

Delish. Seriously, their peel and eat shrimp are OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING! It really is a hole in the wall backed up to gas station, BUT that being said, the food was fantastic (you should expect typical fried seafood type food). Its a dive, and totally worth it.
Best fried seafood. Overall we had a very good experience, certainly not a fancy place, but probably some of the best fried seafood we have found in Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach area (after searching for over 5 years of vacationing). Very reasonably priced, you won't get a ton of food, but you should get enough consider most of us over eat anyway.
Hidden gem...... OMGosh what wonderful food! The raw oysters were so fresh, just fabulous! I had the fried grouper fingers and they were so lite and delicate with the perfect amount of crunch. Possibly the best fried fish I have ever had in my life. My husband had the shrimp po boy and was just as happy with his food..... Service was great and it was an all around GREAT experience in a nicely casual place with seriously good food! I'm looking forward to going back again!
Boiled shrimp are the best!. We had dinner here after checking Urban Spoon. The boiled shrimp and raw oysters were delicious. I also enjoyed fried shrimp, oysters, and grouper nuggets. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, but they were a bit greasy so I wouldn't recommend them. The prices are very reasonable.

During my recent visit to Shucker's Oyster Bar & Grill, I was thoroughly pleased with the overall experience. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the wonderful outdoor seating, offering a breathtaking view that set the stage for a memorable dining experience.
As for the food, the CHARGRILLED SHUCKER'S FAMOUS GARLIC PARMESAN and the QUESO CRAB DIP served with crispy wonton chips were a culinary delight. These dishes certainly lived up to their reputation, delivering great flavors and textures.
While the SHRIMP & CORN CHOWDER didn't quite meet my expectations and was merely okay, the tuna tacos stood out. They were generously loaded with tuna, and the addition of a special sauce added a unique and delightful twist to the flavors.

Great views and atmosphere. The food was good, but not wow me memorable. The server had a great personality and served us as expected. To actually get a table, and get a server took time. We had to ask the server walking by if he would wait on us. I just don't get how people who make their income on service just aren't concerned with providing that service. Anyway, that was the down side, and even that wasn't that bad. Just finding the negative. We had apps that we requested an adjustment to on prep and were easily accommodated. The gumbo was good. Not too thick, not too watery. Flavor was just a bit tangy and spicy. Not overpowering. The Oysters Rockefeller were good too, but I would rate them as average. The shrimp made as bang bang instead of their standard spicy and they we're good. Good balance of sweet and spicy with breading that wasn't overwhelming. Overall, I would say we would try this place again because it has potential. Add a little better flair to the menu, and a little more customer service, and the location won't be what carries this place.
Fantastic place to relax, hang out, and eat a delicious meal. My only complaint was the live music was a little loud and never ended. The cheese grits were heaven and the coleslaw too good. The fried alligator and calamari was delicious. They keep the oil fresh and hot do the food tastes amazing. Absolutely get the bang bang shrimp, and grouper Amelia. Our waitress was very sweet. We loved sitting by the fire pit and relaxing.

Love this place!! The food got a 4 because the portions were really small compared to other similar restaurants with the same cost! The waitress was really good and we enjoyed the atmosphere!

We love Shuckers. It's our go to place for seafood. They also have non seafood items. Try the appetizers. I get the gator bites as my meal.
They also have kids menus & a playground. Indoor & out seating. Parking is an issue but they are worth it.
Great place to check out! We got the seafood platter for 2 and it was delicious! Plenty of food, we had leftovers. The ranch is very good as well. They have outdoor seating near the water with an outdoor bar as well. There are a lot of TVs too.

First time here visiting cousins at Fernandina Beach and this was their choice. We passed thru the restaurant to the outside seating area and it was so charming. Lots of space, waterfront, walking paths, playground, even a mascot cat. My grilled grouper Fernandina topped with grilled shrimp was fabulous. My husband had a fried combo platter. Cousins had apps and entrees that they enjoyed. Service was great too. It's literally right before the bridge on the right, you don't want to miss the turn off! We'll return when we're back in the area.
Went there with my girl and everything was spot on. Dylan was our server and was awesome, orders were correct, drinks never empty and super attentive. All the food was cooked perfectly and in a world of,”more money less food”, the portions were huge and definitely well worth it! Great outdoor patio as well!
It was refreshing to be served exceptionally well and be able to enjoy the conversations and experience with the person I was with. It takes an art knowing when to check on a table or when to wait for the right moment. It was a perfect experience!
This place was Awesome!!! The wait was approximately 45 mins on a sat night. It was well worth the wait. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially outside. Food and service was outstanding. Daniel was our server and he was Great. The kitchen messed our order up and Daniel did the best he could to get it corrected in a timely manner. The food tasted well and it was hot upon delivery. We will definitely visit again.

Went on a warm breezy Sunday afternoon. Loved the outdoor seating! Kids were able to run around and play on the playground, and there were bags and a ping pong table there too. There was also a live duo band playing, which was nice to listen to. The scenery is beautiful! Can't beat waterfront! Food was good! Drinks were even better! Definitely will go back soon!
