They don’t make them like this in Ferndale anymore. Up North bar meets neighborhood honky tonk with a nice old worn out wooden bar, pull tabs, cheap beer, craft beer, local spirits plus all the booze you’d expect. Melissa behind the bar can do 100 things at once including cook you a great burger and answer any questions you have about beers and booze. It harkens back to when ferndale was truly quirky, and back father to when it was a working class neighborhood with no-frills restaurants, bars and stores. More hip than any new hipster hangout. Please don’t mistake this for the latest trend, or count on locally sourced greens you can’t pronounce on the menu. It is perfect as is. Drink here and tip Melissa well.
Great service and food, with a great atmosphere, friendly place.
A great place to stop at Ann have a burger and fries and a cold beer I would recommend everybody to go here
My favorite local watering hole! The best wings, cold beer and friendly service!

Great burgers great fries great people fun place to be
Love $4.00 cheeseburger Thursday! !!
I came in here a few days ago for a quick beer. It was $5 for a tall labatt which seemed kind of high. As far as their food, their menu wasn't too deep. The waitress also said that everything was deep-fried.
The atmosphere was okay. There is old memorabilia on the wall, which is kind of neat. There is also a little game room in the back. No pool table though, which I mentioned would go good at this place.
The place could use a remodel though, as it does kind of feel a little rundown.
Overall, it seems like a really chill place to drink beer and eat some bar food.
We have been going to Tony's for years. The bar tender Jim is awesome, such a great guy. If you want a Burger get one at Tony's they are very good and the mini tacos. We love this place
I live in Upstate NY, a friend lives close by. Absolutely we go there everytime I come into town. Usually we'll meet friends or family here for good beer & drinks, along with absolutely fantastic bar food! Fried baloney sandwiches, love em! My personal favorite, by special request, are tater tots covered with chili, cheese and chopped onions! Add Miller Genuine Draft, The Champagne of Beer's and I'm in heaven.
The other part that seals the deal as "my" Detroit hangout are the people that work here. Every time I walk in the door, it's like I never left. Everyone makes sure you feel welcome, and the crowd always adds to the ambiance. If you've never been, you owe it to yourself to stop in, have a beer & some fantastic bar food.
Cheers!
Love this place. Small, friendly sports bar. Just wish they kept their BLTs they were the best and I would've paid more for them. Great for a drink and meet up with a friend or 2
Great neighborhood place, and one of the last original bars in Ferndale it seems. Great pricing, and good ambiance for a sports bar.

Nice location run by the owners serving up great food to customers. A nice welcome to Ferndale. Excellent burgers.
Small but nice bar. Friendly service. It was a good experience
I have been going to this bar since day one of operation. It is a fantastic sports bar that has added to its charm over the years. The new side patio compliments the front patio giving inside/outside seating options. I would recommend this bar to everyone who enjoys good food, cold beer and sports!
