Drive thru is the only way to get this great product. I wish all the businesses would get together. Some places you can dine in, some you can go in and order, and then there's the hold outs that offer drive thru only. Sometimes I don't think that the right hand knows what the left hand is doing!!
This location is the best of all the Big John's. The service is always fast whether it's through drive through or ordering inside. The subs are always fresh and hot which is key. Usually I am ordering subs for the whole family and everyone has their own preference. Our order is always right although I wish there was a better way to mark them. However, we love that the menu is consistent and that iconic Big John logo wrap for the subs is like receiving a Christmas present every time! My family and I have been coming here for decades and we always bring out of towners here to try the best steak subs we've ever eaten. My go to is the Original Steak and Onion with red sauce and peppers.
While visiting Flint, we are here twice!! Sooooo simple, but so much flavor!
Didn't have to wait for to long in the drive thru line for our food. We got the Super steak, cheese, and mushroom. Very good

This is the very best Big John's out of them all. I have never been disappointed with anything at this location. The food is always awesome and the service is unbelievable. I will say they are the fastest Big John's I've ever been to in my whole life. I feel like if we can't eat at this location then I don't want it. I seriously only want to eat at this specific restaurant. If nobody has ever said it, let be the one to say that you guys do an awesome job every day and I appreciate everything that you all do. I will start off first by saying this restaurant is Drive-Through only. Now that that's out of the way, lets get into the experience.
The menu for this restaurant has many items, but no pictures to see what you're getting. Be weary of that, should you order something very messy, such as the BBQ Steak and Cheese. This sandwich was overall really tasty, but I made such a big mess eating it that I feel like I lost about $2 worth of the product. The Steak and Cheese is really good as well, and if you order their special Big Johns sauce, you just might find yourself a new favorite. The sauce is advertised as "spicy and sweet" but don't be alarmed by it saying spicy. At best its a very mild, mild taste with a nice sweet aftertaste almost like cocktail sauce. I was disappointed that there were no fries on the menu, although they do have many different kinds of sandwiches so you may find something you like even if you're not into philly steak.
In the end, I rate the food 8/10 due to the presentation and taste.
And I give the staff a 10/10 for how nice they were.
Overall I would say that Big John's is a nice 9/10 in my book. Go get yourself a Big Johns!
