I went this evening at my old neighborhood in Floral Park Queens NY to take part at Real Estate Investors Club Meeting. After the meeting I was so hungry I needed some authentic food Indian food that I like so much. Indeed I bump infront this restaurant, so I took my chance with them.. Indeed I find one the best Afghan combo fish dish I ever eat in New York.. The place is nice clean and cozy.. The staff is amazingly polite and serve me delightfully. I am very pleased to choose this restaurant. I will definitely comeback to experience more Afghan recipes.. I highly recommend this place...to everyone.. Who is looking for a great Restaurant...
Good afghan food, not sure about the one star reviews. Try the chefs combo kebab really generous portions for a steal imo. Sambosa and the mango lassi are also very solid.

The best white sauce in town!!!! We always get the salmon kebab platter. Comes with rice and a salad. GET THE CARROT AND RASIN ADD-ON, it’s shredded carrot and sweet raisins served on top of the rice or on side with any dish. It’s soooo delicious. This spot does a lot of take out orders but best bet it’s to take a little break and eat it there. The food does take some time to be prepared because everything is always made fresh to order but the cute “mellow yellow” ambiance, clean dining room and tv will keep you company.
If you love chicken and rice platters but want more QUALITY. This could be the place for you. Their chicken kebab platter is a little more expensive ( and I don’t think they serve pita but their bread is soooo good). This is a great switch in a healthy and fresh direction, not to mention WAY MORE CLEAN THAN THOSE CARTS. Plus their salad is ALWAYS fresh.
We order sambosas to start as an appetizer which are a bit greasy but still good. In the pic I posted you see we got roasted eggplant as a side dish and it was so good. Flavor and texture were ON POINT.

Wonderful place! My family and I come here often. The food is very flavourful and tasty. Prices are also very very reasonable. Portions are very fair. We love this place! The owner is a very kind man. For my daughter's birthday he allowed us to bring a cake and some balloons! Will definitely be back soon In shaa Allah!
This is my favorite Kebab restaurant. Needless to say I’ve tried many others, but this place has been the top of my list for 10 years now. I usually get takeout & I’ve never had a bad experience. My typical order is the combo kebab with grilled onions & tomatoes. This is a must try! I also like their lamb chops. All the ingredients are high quality. In 10 years, the recipe still tastes just as good as day 1.
Authentic afghan food that is freshly made. With that said, please call to place your orders 20-30 min advance to avoid the wait time. The freshness is worth the wait. Murgh kabab and beef kofta are my recommendations!
I entered and realized I was the only customer.
I thought perhaps too early in the evening or food isn't good?
I took a chance.
Host/Waiter/ Chef all in one, Without missing a beat while preparing other meals, served me a great meal.
Then I realized people were home and ordering for take out on this day of an official Heat Wave.
For the fellow doing all the above... challenges were significant.
All the while following CDC guidelines.

Really good afghan food! Very authentic tasting and very high quality ingredients! He has a lack of staff but that's the time were in right now with the virus rampant and lack of proper staffing. Owner is a very nice guy and i recommend this place. Try the Qabuli when you go there!
Good food, the lamb shank was super yummy. The quantity was less compared to other Afghan places.
the owner forgot to inform me they close 2 hours earlier. We were planning on ordering more but couldn't. They should keep their info updated on Google.
Food was excellent, service was great. Food came out nice and hot and had great flavor. Everything we tried was delicious - from the wings to the hummus to all the kabobs. You can't go wrong here. Highly recommend.
My wife and I always have great experience tasting food in this restaurant. I can't say this about all items that this restaurant sells as I haven’t tasted all. Its not possible for any restaurant to make all types of food to be tasting equally great. This is a kabab house and kababs taste awesome here.
I can write an essay about what I tasted. Chef special is our favourite. Never tasted lamb ribs in any other restaurant, without the weird smell. The kababs in this restaurant are well cooked, properly salted/spiced and mouthwateringly delicious. If you like to see your plates full of rice, then this restaurant is not for you. I value quality then quantity.
The food was great. Not too busy as it was a cold NY night. The owner is kind and friendly. Clean surrounding also. If you visit, please RESPECT that they don't serve alcohol - religious reasons. Besides, with the great food, we didn't miss the alco. Have their tea as well.
