Lots of fun! Relaxing. Comfortable. Great live music. My friend Suki and I went to hear Eric Levy play guitar and sing. Big bad Leroy Brown got us singing and clapping along. He knew so many familiar songs. We loved his music and this place. Server was nice and friendly. It is convenient on Duval. We had a very good time on our last full day. Glad to include The Salty Angler in our amazing Key West trip. There were several other rooms, I noticed. Lots of fish pictures. A wonderful bar and place to hang out!
Great bar on the eastern side of Duval St. they have live music every day from 12-4 and then 8-11. I got 2 cocktails and they were both pretty good. Then I ordered the meat candy and they were good, but a little 2 much sauce for me. This place has. Some of the BEST French Fries that I’ve ever tasted! Great live music and a cool bartender. I never actually ate a full meal here, but I will once I’m back in Key West!
Smaller bar with very friendly staff. This has been a go to bar for us in key west. Had live singer and he was very good. He also took requests. They are part of the "hops stops" program to encourage using tumblers in stead on plastic cups.
Tacos where awesome!! Salty rum runner drink was awesome. Neal was our bartender and was GREAT!! Next time we're in Key West we will be back!!!!!
Started out with a house cachaca cocktail. It was made nicely, strong and refreshing. Had a bowl of the seafood bisque which was some of the most amazing I've ever had.
For the main course I had the fresh catch of the day which was snapper. I ordered it grilled so I could smother it with the wonderful house made sauces...not that it needed to be. It came with a spicy pepper jalapeno slaw, jalapeno corn bread and mac n' cheese gnocchi. Everything was fresh and tasty.
Owners Brian and Amy have such a great thing going on there. Check this place out!

Loved this place! Homey atmosphere, love music, laid back.... My kind of bar! They serve food but we didn't have any so cannot comment on that. Going back in May and plan to stop back in.

Great food! Very cool atmosphere and I met some musicians that knew of my home county of Delco, Pa.
A must stop for us everytime we come to key west! Their Salty Rumrunner is fantastic. It's their signature drink, and is on point! Comes with smoked sea salt on the rim, which is delicious! Compliments the sweet rumrunner perfectly. They have amazing BBQ as well!
If this wasn't the best FRESH pulled pork and brisket taco I've had then wow....the smoked corn is food too!

Had a great time visiting here! Nice beer selection. Bartender was extremely friendly. Got a basic burger. It was pretty good. Fries were very fresh but don’t come with the burger so you have to buy separately. Keep that in mind since prices are pretty heavy in this touristy area. Gay-friendly!

This review is for the bar only, I have not tried any food here. I love the old classic building. It is just perfect for a Key West bar. Being at the north end of Duval, this place is a bit less crowded and rowdy than some of the south Duval bars. They get some cool bands playing here and it creates a nice vibe. They do close early at 11 PM, so you get here a bit earlier and then move on.
The food and the live music are top notch. Get there early for Burnt Ends. Yum. Live music nightly. Always great and perfectly mood set. Very attentive service, but be prepared to order at the bar during busy times. A highlight of Upper Duval.
The front entrance is not wheelchair accessible, but there is a rear entrance that is. However signage is poor. The staff of super nice and willing to help, but from the sidewalk it is difficult to tell. Very comfortable banquet seating in addition to barstools.

What a fantastic little piece of Key West!! The food was amazing - try the burnt ends, the thunder thighs, the... Actually, everything our party tried was delicious! The beer selection was good and the bartender kept up with our thirsty group. We wandered in for some great live music, and will definitely return next time we're in town!
Cool place in Key West with a nice vibe for dinner. The drinks were fine. The service was good. 2 of us in our party had BBQ where the meat for both was cold, but I ate it anyway because it was late and I was tired. Nevertheless, I was impressed by the manager, who seemed genuinely upset we were not happy and made it right even though I was prepared to move on without much comment. That's good service right there. Everyone else in our party was happy with their food.
