Delicious! The waitress was really nice, and the food was great. The wait was extremely long though... Perhaps because there was a large party that came in before us.
Lovely find!. This place is easy to miss on the hustle of Duvall, but once you make your way back to the restaurant, you are in for a treat! The Paella was amazing and the sangria did not disappoint.
This place hits the mark!. What a great little find near the foot of Duval Street! The entrance is easy to miss if you blink, and even if you do manage to see it, it doesn't look particularly inviting. The actual restaurant is located a ways back from the street, down an outdoor hallway.
But oh, once you make the short trek back you are in for a treat. The outdoor bar/restaurant is Key West funky and relaxing, and is worth a visit even if you are merely in search of a cold Presidente, another international cerveza, or a mojito. But we came for the food, and the Cuban mix sandwiches are as big and delicious as the restaurant is small. The Cuban pork dinners are also very satisfying, especially if you know to apply the house made "hot sauce", which happily is more full flavored than hot. The dinners come with yellow rice and black beans, plus a small side of sweet tasting fried plantains. Muy delicioso!
Great food, super friendly, and not at all busy. It's tucked away behind some buildings, so you get away from the craziness outside for a bit.
Eat and drink here! The mojios were incredible, the cuban espresso was fantastic and Cuban sandwich was a great sandwich to hold us off until dinner. The waitress was awesome (very loud and funny in a good way) and the owner seemed great. The atmosphere made you feel like you were visiting somewhere else!
Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had! Friendly staff and good prices.
Had the Cuban sampler platter with rice, beans and plantains. Service was excellent, food was wonderful and setting was just as other posters have described. Small and off the craziness of Duval St. Quiet and relaxing.
Best mojito I have ever had. If you get the chance, try to speak with the owners. They have a myriad of information on Cuba, and Juan is actually a wonderful artist and beautiful poet. All of the amazing artwork in there was created by him. Highly recommended, and I can't wait to get back there.
If you want to try athentic Cuban or Columbian food, do it here.
If you are like us and not sure what to oreder, just ask. The staff was very helpful in our decision.
We choose family style and it was perfect. We got to try a little of everything.
The only downfall.... it's not easily seen from the street. Luckly there was someone stationed out front to help pull us in.
The best cuban cuisine and hopitality i have expierenced. This is a hidden gem on duval st. Out door dining in a secluded little court yard. Service was fantastic and the food and sangria was phenomenal! Then get you a hand rolled cuban cigar on the way out!!! Highly recommend this place
The lechon with rice and beans is really awesome. Good tostones but they only sell them to you one at a time. It's the only place to get an iced cafe con leche. Excellent
A hidden gem. Almost like being back in my aunt's house in Havana. Intimite and laid back. Very good seafood combo, tostones, ropa vieja and black beans. Friendly service.
Really good food tucked away in a cute courtyard. Jackie is great. I recommend the Cuban pork! Will be back!
Excellent paella and mojitos. Service can be slow but it's worth the wait if you've got the time. 😎
Great food and fresh mojitos, service is slow!
Very nice atmosphere food and service was great
Pretty good Cuban food coming from a Cuban :)
