Wonderful. I had the fresh basil rice paper rolls and the fried spring rolls. BOTH were excellent! The spring roll had good consistency, not grainy, not mealy, no grissles. The basil rolls were fresh, crunch with fabulous basil flavor!

I love the food here. Very reasonably priced, and so so good. Also love that it is byob. Good for date night and usually pretty quiet. Great yellow curry, pad Thai, spicy basil fried rice, spicy noodles, and tom kha soup (spelling?)- that's all I've tried so far. Kim is very laid back. Some reviewers give her a hard time, and I think those are just some hard-to-please people. Yes, service can be slow, but this isn't fast food, and it is one man and woman working here daily-- that's it-- so please be kind. Love this place!!
This place never disappoints. Great food, beautifully presented. Prices are spot on and the servings are generous. Highly recommended.
This is the best food in Flower Mound!!! My whole family loves this place. It is a very quiet place, never very many people. Never had a bad experience or bad food. Lots of food for a great price. I read a few complaints about this place and am very shocked. It is a very quaint place, and that is what makes it a great place.
Awesome place!. This has become my favorite restaraunt. The food is excellent and the service is good. As for previous reviews that are negative due to the service, this lady, Kim is really sweet, she is there every single day, never takes a day off... She works extremely hard to keep this place going and I would be mad too if people didn't want to leave tips. It takes a lot to keep a business going, especially these days and every little bit helps... I have been going here at least once a week since I found it over a year ago and the food is always good.
Favorite Thai Restaurant in DFW!!. My husband and I eat here at least once a week, sometimes more. I absolutely love the food, and we have tried just about every Thai place within 30 miles of this place. It beats all others hands down.
A couple of things to note:
There is only 1 server. I am pretty sure she and her husband own the place. She is so special and so nice, but she doesn't get in a hurry. Feel free to flag her down when you need a refill or the check. Otherwise, it will take a while to get her to come over to your table.
Also, we have never been there when it has been all that busy. At most, there have been about 4 tables full, which was a lunch on a Sunday. My husband says the atmosphere is boring, so we have opted to order our's to-go.
I won't STOP eating here EVER! I absolutely love it, hands down!
A Jewel!. Our family can not go a week without eating here or at least getting take-out! We get them to to combine the $-flavor fish with the Basil sauce and vegetables and it is amazing! Our picky boys love the Soy noodle with chicken. Also I get them to make something that is off the menu but is so tasty! Glass Noodle Salad! It is only for those that don't mind some fish sauce in the flavor. It has lots of lime and chili in it and is so tangy! It's light, sour and spicy all at the same time! I love the atmosphere and the personalized service that their kind and thoughtful waiter Kim gives! I cannot imagine someone not liking this place unless they just don't care for this type of food! BYOB...
I would eat here at twice the price. They are practically giving away a great dining experience. Great food, service, and a nice decor - very clean. I couldn't bring myself to order the Pad Thai because it's so ubiquitous, but my daughter ordered it so I had a taste and was blown away. Best I've ever had. My Red Chili Paste Curry was awesome, too. Another surprise was their Corn Cake appetizer - stunning and like nothing I've ever had before. I'm doing them an injustice to describe them as hockey-puck shaped hashbrowns with kernels of sweet corn mixed in, but the texture is light and crisp, not heavy. Don't miss the rice paper wrapped basil and cucumber rolls, either. We ate there for lunch and I'm ready to go back for dinner. Somebody stop me!
Fantastic Thai!. Le Bistro Bangkok has fantastic food! We eat there or take out just about every week. Our favorite is the Boat People Soup and Four Flavor Fish but we've never had anything that wasn't wonderful.
We have two young boys (6 and 8) with strong opinions on what they will eat. They love the Soy Noodle and Pad Thai so there's never any objections when we're eating here!
If you like Thai food, you definitely want to try Le Bistro Bangkok. It's worth the drive from whereever you are!
Le Bistro Bangkok's Green Curry Chicken - Super Spicy. Hello, Everyone. This is my opinion of Le Bistro Bangkok.
This is a family owned restaurant and is exceptional in the fact that it is immaculate and welcoming. The wait staff is very polite and respectful.
NOW - THE FOOD
This is the best Thai food that I personally have ever tasted.
My absolute favorite dish is the Green Curry Chicken. Le Bistro Bangkok offers a variety of spicy heat for this dish. I personally choose the Thai #4 which is the hottest. (Mmmm Mmmm)
Their green curry sauce has the perfect blend of traditional spices; this combined with the garden fresh vegetables, tender chicken, and the fresh basil added at the very end results in a mouth watering, sensory overload of exceptional culinary bliss. Perfection on a plate.
This dish alone draws me frequently to Le Bistro Bangkok. However, do not dismiss any of the dishes. I have tried a number of them and they are all exceptional. The chicken fried rice is the best I have found in and around the North Dallas area.
If you like Thai food; make a point to try this lovely restaurant. The family has been there on staff every time I have dined in and it has been a very pleasant dining experience. I hope you find it to be as well.
Enjoy! :-) Lynne
First time coming here. Seems the business is slow from reading other reviews and no one being there during our visit. We ordered the pad Thai and chicken fried rice and it was very fresh and hot. We also shared the fried wontons and those were fresh as well. Service was fine and prompt but it wasn't busy either. No issues with parking and food was satisfying. Wheelchair parking and accessible and I believe they open at noons on weekends.
Great food. I like the curries and the Thai basil dishes.
It's great! My wife and I love this place. I get the pad see eww and she gets yellow curry. Both are great. Check it out if you're interested!
This place is doubtless one of the finest place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I go there I am highly satisfied. They maintain their very high standard service and the topmost level of food they serve. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
The best Thai food in Flower Mound! I’ve been coming here for 9 years and it’s consistent, authentic and oh so good. I’m stunned on a few negative reviews on here. We LOVE the green and yellow curry. And the spinach noodles are fantastic! The owners are quiet, but sweet. Always a smile! It’s not our favorite for dine-in, as the atmosphere is a little lacking, but for take-out...it’s on speed dial! Love this little authentic gem.
Heard about this place from a Facebook post. So glad someone had posted about it. Within a few days, we tried it. We thought the food (orange chicken and sesame chicken) was great! We will definitely be back! Our new favorite place for Chinese food.
I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a magnificent evening and the venue was certainly one of the reasons for that successful evening. The crew participated in a very nice style, the food was tasty and my guests were very cheerful. We shall no dout return for more events. Thank you very much.
We walked here after a massage one evening on a whim... and wow! The food is amazing! We were surprisingly the only people in the whole restaurant. Fine by me! Our new little secret!
