Found this place by accident when searching online for Dolar shop Hotpot. Glad I came here. Fast and friendly service, very good food!!! And reasonably priced!
One of the best ramen spots I have ever been to. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely check this place out. You will not be disappointed!
Heard many good things about this place so I went to try it and their ramen exceeded all my expectations! A must try when you're in Flushing!
The place is super clean. I highly recommend the appetizers and ramen.
very clean and well managed restaurant. great prices too. must try for me is the Takoyaki
Great ramen in Flushing! It is now my go to spot for ramen cravings!!!
Amazing food, great staff, clean and welcoming environment. The quality is through the roof.
So good! Their Sheng Ramen and the popcorn chicken will have me returning for more.
Highly recommended. This is my go-to spot when I'm craving some noodles.
Good portions, good pricing, and of course amazing food.
This place was ok for me. The food was ok, too. This was my first time. I have tried better ramen before. Maybe it has to do with its origin so, I might be wrong about the taste of the food. I enjoyed the food that I ordered (with my friends) but it is something that I would eat only if it was the only place open around. Also, this place is like a self-service restaurant. You order from the counter and then someone brings you the food. The beverages can be obtained from a self-service area. The place is small and it was little hard finding it inside the building since there are many places/restaurants inside the building. This place is nice to eat alone or as a group, it is quiet and seemed clean.
First time trying this place, because it was brought up by someone I know recently... So my curiosity brought me here for dinner ..
First and foremost.... Super nice and friendly staff....Right away you get the feel of a nice little mom and pop shop, esp. Since the small Granny bussing the tables reminds me of my grandma. (She so cute lol) This place says self served besides ordering at the counter but she brings you the food and cleans up after you leave. And there's a nice batch of refreshing iced lime water waiting to be drinked in this heat! Condiments, hot oil and first time seeing spicy butter, besides soy sauce there.
I ordered a bunch of dishes just to sample their menu abit. And during this time a non- customer waiting for a friend was permitted to use their washroom, and folks I don't know about you, but most NYC restaurants aren't nice like that anymore. And this place was well air conditioned in 90 degrees weather, even tho it was empty when I came in, not many Chinese runned place would sadly. But the rush of people came in after 7pm tonight.
Food:
I can't tell if it's because I'm sick, so I can't taste the awesomeness mentioned in the other reviews for the ramen broth....or perhaps the soup was thinned out too much? Because I like my soup strong or light to its correct accompaniment. But the aroma I did smell right away, as it was coming towards my table. The thinly sliced beef was cooked to its tenderness, but that soft boiled soy sauce egg was cooked to perfection, a MUST try!! I've had it in a few ramen spots now, but this one is the best. And they let you add additional as a side too, if you get hooked like I am.. hehehe
The takoyaki I ordered, came with 4pcs and each one had three large squid pieces in it and it's very fresh and tender in its softness. Love it!
The traditional cucumber salad appetizer, garlic and some sweet red peppers and some red spicy peppers for a little kick...(eat it right away, or the salt will dehydrate it)
The Taiwanese popcorn chicken, crispy and with a kick too since they sprinkle spicy pepper powder on it.
The minced meat with sauce over rice...Another traditional item, and a Taiwanese classic... They did not skimp on the sauce...Thank god lol...
I also recommend the behind the counter homemade drinks they have too. It's pretty good and not overpriced neither; Def. will come back and will be bringing the bf next time. :)
There's ample amount of seating... btw...like enough to fill over 30people easily...

Ramen and taiwanese style? my friend told me it was a chain overseas Sheng Noodle. Had to check this out myself!
My friend and I got the a1 a2 b3 and some dumplings.
A1 is the Sheng noodles with duck blood, tofu and sliced beef. I got the spicy beef, which didn't have the duck blood and tofu but it had the slice beef and mustard greens with it. Something similar to beef noodle soup. So they use japanese style noodles, which they give a hefty amount if you see the pictures. The broth and seasoning is really sensational. Walking near this place you could smell all the flavors. We actually had trouble not salivating all over ourselves while we took pictures.
My other friend tried the dry ramen b3, which was really good as well, it was a bit harder to mix it since it was a dry style she took some of the broth from the dumplings and added in her bowl to help get it going. We went for ramen and broth she wanted something a bit different
The dumplings were nice thick but soft skin and flavorful and juicy on the inside. We opted out on another spicy dish.
I heard of this spicy butter that is homemade, must check that out next time.
As always check the pictures out =)

Another stop at Sheng Ramen
They started to pick up some speed with customers coming in. Now serving some neat combos, I got Chrysanthemum tea , pickled cucumber salad or fried buns with condense milk and a ramen. I also ordered a sweet fermented tofu to try it out !

April 2018
Tried their beef ribs ! That was really good reminds me of beef noodle soup with their added spicy paste. We also got popcorn chicken and cucumbers to add to our meal.
Awesome place, a bit hidden but don't be shy asking the other restaurant employees in the same building for directions.
Their initial beef rib ramen is a little pricey($17) but it's worth the price, the meat on it will melt in your mouth(there are no spicy option for ones who can't handle heat). Aside from the pricey beef rib ramen other things on the menu are priced pretty reasonably.
Pleasant and clean, self service ramen joint. Food is delicious! We tried their signature spicy beef ramen, chasui ramen, and their fried dumpling, all yummy. Good portion size and good value for money, very enjoyable.
It's an Asian style noodle house. Order up at the front, pay, then take a seat. The people will bring the food to you. There is a self-serve water / tea / sauce / napkin island for your dining pleasure.
I had the spicy beef ramen with the steamed dumplings. The dumplings were a good value at 10 dumps for $6.50, and tasted good. My ramen was also very nice!
I will come back. My belly was happy.
Really good ramen, not the best noodles, but delicious beef broth in my A4 bowl. The steamed pork bun was great. I’ll be here again soon.
I know is easy to find a ramen place in this area but when you find a good one you have to be thankful
This small ramen place is not like the rest the flavor od the food are superb
I order the chashu ramen omg the broil was super tasty the pork the veggies and the ramen where good
The place is not bad you order and pay first so you can't escape without pay lol.
Solid tonkutsu ramen! Highly recommend pork dumplings in braised beef broth add noodles and soft egg! Only meal you'll need for the day!
The service is excellent and the Vegetable Ramen was delicious. I really liked the environment and vibe of the place. The ramen was also decently priced.
The tonkotsu I ordered was lacking compared to the other ones I've had but still pretty good. This is Taiwanese style ramen place so it's probably better to try their other dishes, such as the zha jiang mian or spicy Sheng ramen with duck blood. Fried mantou was tasty and probably my favorite appetizer on the menu. Service was friendly and quick - the waiter even came over to take our orders rather than us having to order at the counter. Owner was very friendly. Drinks/tea are self served.
Love this restaurant. Cosy and nice staff. Always smiling even with some rude customers 😃! chicken curry and tomatoes ramen are juste "un délice"
Fast casual place where you order at the counter and seat yourself. Hidden behind larger restaurants in the complex on this corner, it's one of the only ramen options in the area.
Inexpensive Taiwanese style ramen restaurant. The spicy beef mala ramen soup is one of the best I have ever had. Generous portion too.
Really good Japanese restaurant for a quiet meal away from the crowds. Try the ramen noodle soup with Pork, its really good and the soup base truly lifts the entire dish.
A small Taiwanese restaurant. Ramen tasted good. The staff was friendly.
Love this place. Delicious food and clean comfy space. It's a must go Taiwanese food place.
Friendly helpful owners and workers. You can taste the love they put into the cooking.
