Food portions were MASSIVE!! Amazing value for money! I ordered a slice of pizza and a carbonara , thinking the pizza could be my side. The carbonara arrived with a side of bread & I struggled to start the carbonara after eating the pizza slice 😅 leftovers for lunch it was! Staff were super friendly & I loved the authentic American NYC vibe too! My Grandad was in hospital & the staff were happy to accommodate and pack the food up for a doggy bag. Would happily go again!

Got the drunken grandma pie, it was very cheesy, great crust and the sauce was more of a vodka penne sauce. Very good pizza with a log of flavor and character.

A very tasty slice in South Flushing. A plain slice has decent crunch, stretchy cheese and a tasty sauce. And the size of them are what we associate with a real NYC slice. A 15 min walk from the 7 train, near the Q44, and the hospital Main St. Check out their well priced lunch specials from 1130-4pm. Restroom in the rear with extra seating

Ran in to get a long missed slice of pizza and a Pepsi, while I waited for someone. Instead, I got 2 slices of Grandma pizza. After the first bite I was in love! I love a sweet sauce and fresh garlic! I found the restaurant by searching for food nearby in Google. When I saw pizza, that's where I went. I've never had Grandma pizza before, and it will not be my last. I will definitely travel there again to try their Chicken Parmesan!

We've been ordering from here for years. So glad they're back! Everything is delicious! Highly recommend. Ziti pizza and chicken roll, plain pizza are my faves. My family loves the lasagna.

We have not tried a lot of items on the menu, but the pizza is great. They have a variety of pizzas with an array of toppings. And some usual Italian fare. The staff is fantastic! The atmosphere is casual, friendly and service is fast. If you're in the neighborhood and craving a slice or two, definitely recommend it!

Wow...spectacular pizzeria....pizza slices are super tasty and fresh. Chicken rolls are so cheesy and delish. Garlic knots are just seasoned perfectly...Customer service is also superb. Owner was very nice and friendly... you can tell he takes pride in his food quality.

I've been a customer of Phil & Son's since I moved to Flushing from Forest Hills, when I was 12 yrs old, in 1982. They recently renovated, and even added a/c. They have the tv on, but it's not obnoxiously loud, so you can enjoy a movie, and sometimes sports, while you eat. Larger tables are in the back. The menus include coupons. Bathrooms are always clean. Everything I've tried is delicious and they have good sized portions. My new favorite is the chicken francese on spaghetti. My son & I also love the penne a la vodka with grilled chicken, among so many other favorite dishes. My family and I are always treated well by the staff and owner, who are all very friendly and nice. I've never been disappointed by the food, or service, etc., which is why I will always be a customer. Btw: If you're ordering delivery and you're getting something other than pizza, like a pasta entrée, make sure to get your order in before the kitchen closes at 8pm, because then it's just pizza, beef patties, etc., that's available.

The pizzas are great. The pastas aren't. The same pizza sauce used for pasta just doesn't feel, or taste, what it should. Bland atmosphere, good service. This area doesn't have many Italian options so this isn't a bad one at all.

I come to queens for work and I have to get Phil’s on every trip. Their pepperoni is simply the best!

I remember coming to this pizzeria when I was younger and just recently went back today. They have the usual menu of pizza, pasta, garlic bread, etc. The back has a small dining area with wait staff. The front area has more seating and tables and it's where you order food. We ordered two plain slices and the fish and chips. I thought the food was okay. Pizza was fresh and just came out of the oven. The fish and chips had a nice crust and was flaky. What really impressed me though was how very friendly the staff was. I noticed a mom and her two kids come in while I was eating. She ordered a slice of pizza for each of them and the staff person offered to cut up the pizza into smaller pieces for the kids. Wow, not many places do that or offer it without asking. Just for that, I plan on coming back and giving the food another try.

I like the food in this place but yesterday Saturday June 10-23 I was eating and I think that one of the rude cleaners mopped the floors with a strong smell pine and the liquid he used was very slippery to walk and more with my 2-year-old grandson who was eating, I told them please don't mop until I have left please, he looked at me badly and kept mopping. What a lack of ethics, respect and education. And very hot đŸ„” place to eat very uncomfortable 😳

Good to see the return of Phil & Sons after a brief renovation. Flushing used to boast many pizzerias but over the years, a lot of them closed up shop. Places like Al Dente, Barones, Glorias and another one that used to be on Roosevelt near Union Street (forgot the name of that one). Phils is still standing after all these years. As usual, I had to get my favorites, a Sicilian and a Grandma slice with a Stewart’s. That’s been the move since I used to go to the old Phil & Sons spot that used to be across the street from St. John’s University.
