Popular diner at any time of day. The food is good enough for its price point, but nothing exceptional. The diner’s furnishings and installations are in decent shape for the usual volume of turn-arounds, but the waiters are unfairly pushy, rushing customers through their meals.
The diner was clean. The service was excellent. The waiter who helped was so helpful and polite. Plus, the food is so, so good! All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. I enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended!
Classic, friendly local diner. I believe this place has been in the area for over 25 years. Fast friendly service, really good music with a classic diner menu, excellent coffee, entrees and daily soups. I think the prices are very good for what they give you. From dining room to restrooms, it's always neat and very clean. Easy to get to by taking the M or R to 71st and Continental. There is even an elevator from the subway to the street level, for thoes of us with special needs. The atmosphere reminded me of a 60's inspired diner, with iconic wallpaper to match.
Delicious place for a huge, inexpensive breakfast. Love coming here. The service is great. On Sunday they have a full Sunday dinner as well so drop by in the evening. Everything is tasty and lots of room to sit. I think it's one of the better queens diners.
It's great to have a decent 24-hour diner in the area and this has very comfortable seating in reasonable abundance with a great location. The food is surprisingly good for a diner although you won't be confused with a finer restaurant. prices are reasonable and you'll find everything you might expect from a diner for breakfast and lunch, with some pleasant surprises which can include meat and fish dishes.
Brothers Peter and George have owned and managed this venerable diner for many years, and always greet us warmly. My go-to meal is a cup of soup, BLT, and rice pudding with whipped cream. Burgers and Greek salad are also good, as is the cheesecake. They have an extensive menu and several daily specials which include a lot of food but can be a little pricey. Wine and mixed drinks are available. They're in a great location on the south side of Queens Boulevard at 71st Avenue, right at the E & F subway and the Q60 bus.
I'm so glad this diner just got a grade A again for their health department review. My family always have loved this diner and now we can enjoy going to it more. This is the usual diner were we would invite friends and family. As soon as the subway station opens in front of it again they will do great in business.
I hadn’t been to T-Bone in a while, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it remodeled. As others have noted, the prices are very reasonable and the food quality is on par with other diners. Given the fact that it’s 24 hours, next to the subway and in a stand alone building, it’s definitely worth a visit.
This diner been here for a very long time :) it’s nice to see the old spot always there brings back a lot good old memories :) and diner always have vegan options :) it has everyone’s options :) I’m old school :) I love diner especially this types of old style diner :) thank you 😊 for being there :)
The service is very fast and you are always greeted with a smile. They need to spice up their menu and cook with some originality.... Italian ,Greek or something. But maybe its safer appealing to everyone.
