Such a lovely little mom and pop shop~ While taking my friend to explore flushing, we stopped by this tucked away hidden gem for the ample parking nearby. I didn't know prices like this existed in NYC anymore! For a calm and welcoming start to a Flushing crawl consider Carnation Bakery. The serving sizes and taste remind you of visiting an encouraging relative. Will return if only for the peaceful atmosphere.

Great croissants. Doesn't look like the French croissant but tastes very good. Kind of like an oil cruller but less oily and shaped kind of like a croissant. I repent of making misleading statements about bad luck and Buddha statues in Businesses. These statements come from my own personal beliefs. It's not about bad luck. You don't have to believe what I believe. I'm not forcing anyone. So please continue to have freedom of choice and religion. I apologize for any distress I've caused anyone and I apologize for any disturbances to your businesses. The legend about the cat statue and Buddha statue is something I fabricated to deceive people into getting rid of the statues in their homes or businesses for their own benefit and good. I was trying to trick people into obeying God. God didn't come to condemn people for their sins. God wants all people to be saved. God is a good God. I apologize for misrepresenting God and the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you all.

Very good bakery and fair pricing. Only compliant is they are always low on inventory which is understandable sometimes with cost of supplies and quality control.

The place itself is not very clean and it seems a bit messy and small. However, their cake is much cheaper than other places and still as good. I ordered a regular vanilla cake with fruit for $15 (8 inch). There's only a small selection of items but it's much cheaper than other bakeries.

Great place to stop for coffee and pastry or small snack. I go there in the morning sometimes and get a large coffee and a pastry. Prices are very reasonable and the servers are courteous and get my coffee right most times. It is a hub for Chinese strivers who are grabbing a quick coffee and snack in the morning. It’s a delight.

Good and fresh dim sum on the day that we went. We came here on a Monday around 11am. We were seated immediately for a table of 8. The food trollies were in abundance bringing hot out of the kitchen dumplings, buns, and other dim sum dishes. Parking can be tricky. There is parking on the premises but can fill up fast so you'll have to look for parking on the street.

This is my favorite bakery in the neighborhood. The prices are low and the pastries are good. I almost always get the chicken bun. idk why people are complaining about customer service. Just because the staff isn't smiling ear to doesn't mean they're rude.

1 of the best bakeries in the city. If you want a pineapple bun this is the place to go. I suggest getting their sandwiches too, savory, spicy and sweet all work well together.

This bakery makes some of the best bread I have ever tasted. It's a local ma and pa shop, unlike Fay Da or Tai Pan. I believe the price is a bit cheaper too. The open at 6 AM and usually by 6:10-6:15 is when a some of the breads comes rolling out. Like any bakery, it's always freshly made, never day old. The inside is small, probably 3 or 4 small square tables, which can seat around 7-8 customers. The service speaks mainly mandarin, but I believe the manager speaks cantonese and a bit of english as well. Breads you should get, try the Dul-Sa-Bao(Red Bean Bread?), and a coconut tart. I'm a meat person, so I usually get the Hot Dog Bun and the the curry buns. There are perhaps two or three parking spots in their lot, but I usually try parking elsewhere, perhaps either the large empty parking lot of the supermarket, if in the morning, or just around the corner in the residential areas.

Still a good place to get great coffee and a variety of baked breads and buns. Very reasonable prices compared to other bakeries offering the same or otherwise similar baked breads in the downtown area.

I got the "Bing" - flaky pastries: - Green tea - round with black dot? - Lotus - flat with sesame seeds - Pineapple - flat, no sesame seeds - Red bean - round with red dot? All super flaky and sweet fillings. Each one is 1.25, while the soft baked breads are a little lower.

Delicious! Too bad it's such a small shop but that is to be expected. Bring cash cuz you'll need it. Bring lots cuz you'll want everything. Definitely get the ham and egg bun. It will change your life.

Good selection of traditional bread and pastries. The size is definitely larger than most other place.
