Great and real coffee with an unbeatable customer service.
This place is so ideal for people who enjoy working or studying in a coffee shop! Kind staff, tasty coffee, delicious desserts, and the best of all, the atmosphere is so cozy and friendly for laptop users! Generous number of power outlets, many tables, chairs & sofa, and long business hours. Anytime of the day you can always find a comfortable spot and then just jump right into what you need to work on. Almost every customer here brings their laptop and works here, so its very easy for me to stay focused as the atmosphere is very encouraging and relaxing. Don't forget to join their membership, its free to join and you get 10% off each time you purchase!
Great coffee, great atmosphere, great place to study or chat with a friend. Also, free wifi.
The only downfall is that it gets pretty crowded with students studying which I'm also guilty of doing. Since it's a small cafe, it fills up very quickly.
Also, the prices are pretty high :/ However, the workers there are extremely nice and inviting. Great service! I always tip :)
Friendly staff and good coffee. Decent wifi and an airy, pleasant atmosphere. There is reasonable street parking also - it is not yet the impenetrable madhouse experience a few blocks east.
I prefer the maple latte. Can't go wrong.
Browny is one of my go-to cafes in the Flushing area to do laptop work because you can always count on getting a good working outlet (very important) and a seat within 5 minutes after you arrive. On weekends, it does get packed with studying students and casual customers, as does any other cafe, but a spot usually frees up in no time.
Browny is divided into an upstairs and a downstairs section (separated by only a few steps, not a full staircase) - the sofas in the downstairs section are huge and comfy, while the wooden furniture in the upstairs section is great to catch up on work in. There are seats other than the sofas in the downstairs section, but there are more upstairs
Browny offers 3-4 parking spots outside the cafe (depending on how cars park), which is a big pro - you just got to be a great driver to maneuver your car onto the curb and also be lucky with timing to secure one of those spots. More than half the time, someone in my party is able to park in one of the coveted Browny spots. However, street parking is easy to find around the corner as well 👍
Other Browny pros:
- relaxing environment and great vibes with music that isn't too loud
- brightly lit area with big windows
The Dough Donuts are great and I like the latte selection! I enjoy the maple latte and green tea lattes. I keep on coming back and am able to fill up multiple loyalty punch cards - every 7 drinks earns you a free 8th drink!
This place has: good coffee, good service, parking, hard chairs, soft sofas, tables, spacious area. BEWARE FOR CARD HOLDERS: I think it's a 10 dollar minimum purchase. The place plays variations of lounge-ish/ acid jazz/ lo-fi beats. This is my spot when I feel the coffee in my house just isn't cutting it.
Edit: The minimum is lower than 10 dollars; just the other day, I paid with card and only bought a large Americano.
Edit number 2 - two year update: they've remodeled!! I DO MISS the old spacious lazy lounge-like atmosphere and that big plush leather bed/couch thing they had with all that random modern/abstract art -- but I guess times change and more people must need coffee more than ever because now it's PACKED with hard tables and chairs in the lower room/floor. They've optimized this place for max capacity. Still has a slight warm and inviting appearance from the yellow lighting and floral arrangements and other various decor -- just not lay-back & chill inviting -- more like get your caffeine and grind hard in study mode until your back hurts from those hard chairs or those benches that have no backs (insert laughing emoji here for me thanks). To note, there are still the grey couches in the other room and nothing seems changed from there. I'm not a regular but I will still stop by for coffee; I still like the vibe although newly remodeled to a different tune. Bottom line and most importantly -- their menu and coffee is still the same amazing quality and still distinctively unique in a market that is saturated with other coffee shops that are a dime a dozen; this place stands above and continues to remain memorable to me.
Great chill place to sit and work for a day. The wifi is noce and doesn't kick you off after any time period, but it can be slow at times. The staff us friendly and quick. The selection of drinks isn't very big, but there are some food items (muffins, doughnuts, and cakes).
Ever since this place opened up near my house it has been my go to café to study and to just chill. The espresso and coffee are okay. Overall a good atmosphere.
Love the atmosphere and renovation done here.. banana pudding, açaí bowl, maple latte are a few of my favorite things here!! Definitely will be coming back.
The barista workers behind the counter are super nice and down to earth. Although, I feel it is pricey & there is a limited menu, I come here because the workers are top notch!
Nice coffee choices and great donuts. Many things are on the pricier side. Great place to sit down and work.
Very attentive and pleasing staff. My iced coffee was perfect and my toasted whole wheat bagel w/ butter was very tasty.
Good coffee and good vibe. Cozy place to bring your laptop and work remotely away from either home or office.
Good seating, good drip and espresso. Brooklyn roasters coffee does Queens proud.
Nice people, and really chill vibe. Good selection of coffees while also cool art to look at.
Great variety of food! Often hard to find a spot to study since it can be pretty packed and loud
great vibes, space and wifi speed is 👌🏽.
the cherry on top: matcha green tea latte.
perfect workspace.
Great place! Awesome coffee! Friendly barista. Will definitely be back!
