Very happy that I went here. In case you are wondering what kind of all-you-can-eat this is, here's how it works: you go to the counter and load up your bowl with ingredients (meat, veggies, noodles, sauce) and then you watch a guy cook it for you. You may return to load up another bowl and have it cooked, as many times as you wish. There were also orange slices and jello set out buffet style.
Buffets and all-you-can-eats usually make me uncomfortable because food quality is typically low, but I was pleased here and liked that the food was cooked right in front of you. This way, you know the food was just cooked instead of other buffets where who knows how long it's been sitting out.
My recommendation: go here for a casual date, meal with friends, or with kids (age 10+ maybe...they need to like eating veggies/meat/rice dishes with ingredients all mixed up; not for picky eaters). The kids would certainly appreciate the soft-serve ice cream station for dessert.
Great Mongolian BBQ. They serve a good size bowl of rice with your visit and hot and sour soup. As most BBQ places it's fast and while it's a small place they have a generous amount of fixings to choose from and the staff is very polite and friendly. The bet place in Folsom to go.
Satisfied!!!!. Decided to try the place out on a whim...very good choice. for 9 bucks during lunch u get as much food as you want. took home and shared with 3 people easily. meal also came with rice and an eggroll

Get there early. I don't even try them for lunch anymore... the line is usually wrapped around the restaurant. I go for dinner when the lines are shorter. It is always about 1/2 or more full which is a good sign. I've been going there on and off for 13 years.
We have been customers since they opened and the food has always been wonderful. Over the years not much has changed, and that is a good thing. You can count on it being a little busy, but that also shows it's good. Worth a visit and enjoy.

This is the best $13 buffet I have ever spent! I was doubtful at first, but it is perfect! You choose everything yourself and prepare it exactly how you like it. You get 4 choice of meat (chicken, beef, pork, and lamb), small shrimp and squid (at the end of the line); at least 20 choices of vegetables and fixing; 10 or more choices of sauces. Tips: don't go overboard and fill your bowl like a mountain! Just get enough (fill to the bowl rim is perfect), so that by the time you finish eating the bowl, the food would still be warm/hot; then go back for second or third. Also this give you a chance to try different meat or prepping to see how you like it. Turn out, I love lamb! They also have a really good crisp/fried (wonton chip?) and egg drop soup as a side waiting for you at the table. Desert is simple - fruit, jello, and soft serve ice ice cream. I don't need a 1000 item of food selection and over stuff myself just because I can, this small selection of Mongolian food is perfect! This is the best $13 I have every spent on a buffet.
Used to live in Folsom, now occasionally work in Folsom. This place introduced me to Mongolian probably 20 years ago and I have yet to find its equal. Quality meats, lots of vegetables, the most sauces to choose from and it includes an all you can eat dessert too. Dinner is all you can eat, lunch has a choice of single bowl. FYI, pack the first bowl full if you want to try to take any home. Only first bowl can be taken home.
Delicious!! Our 2nd time here. They give you these crispy little tempura chips and egg drop soup as appetizers :-) Also, they have shrimp at the end of the line!! good lamb and pork. Loved the spinach when cooked in the sauce, wish I would have gotten a BUNCH more (it shrinks a lot). You can put a bit more sauce than they recommend if you like it to be more flavorful :-)

I have frequented this restaurant for many years. The staff is absolutely wonderful, they are kind, attentive and welcoming. The food is phenomenal, fresh ingredients and many protein options including lamb, shrimp, calamari, tofu, beef and chicken! I especially appreciate that they have a recipe guide above their sauces so you can confidently season your dish. They provide delicious rice, fried wonton strips, and delicious egg flower soup, and their soft serve ice cream machine always works (all included with your meal).
