I love the ambiance of this place. Small, narrow and longer area. The food is good overall. Chive dumpling is overfried & oily? I didn't like it. Love the spring rolls. My new favorite is the Thai iced tea! People working there, are polite too.

Great Thai food in a comfy unassuming place, in fact probably the best Thai this side of Queens Blvd. Portions are just right, not too big, but quality is high. Super affordable lunch special, with nice vegan options like mock duck and soy. Overall its one of those small local places you find yourself going back to time and time again. Strongly recommend the Wok Basil dish.

Cozy little spot on Austin Street. The wait wasn't too bad, the food wad tasty and the prices are reasonable. The portions however, were a bit smaller than we are accustomed to! Lastly, the service was pretty good also.

Loved the basil fried rice. I would come back here again when I crave Thai food. I just wish they had more choices but then again, this isn't a very Asian neighborhood so I guess that's understandable.

If you are have an appetite for excellent delicious Thai food, great ambiance for such a small place and fabulous staff and first class service. This is the place to go. You will enjoy every moment of it. Don't take my words for it. Go and check it out yourself. One regret is that if you didn't go you won't have the experience and live to talk about it. Go go, go, go

I found Mint with a search for "large portions" on Yelp to find somewhere quick to fill this grumbling stomach. I read the lunch special extends to 4pm so I quickly power-walked to the restaurant and unfortunately sat down 4 minutes past 4pm. I asked about the lunch special and the server responded, "The system does not allow to order the lunch special after 4." Dang. Fair enough. I was late. I ordered the Pad See Ew which deserves an applause. It was well-made, steaming hot, and consisted of generous portions of meat and noodles. More bang for the buck compared to other Thai restaurants. Besides the strict time policy, I enjoyed the dish very much and will come back. Next time BEFORE 4.

I love it here. I come here regularly with my boyfriend. We love the food and the service. It is a quiet lowkey gem. Their thai iced teas and calamari are our go tos. Their lunch special is amazingly priced for the, variety, and portion of food you get. Overall the pricing here is great for the quality and great taste of the food. Definitely a go to favorite of ours! I always leave happy

Authentic Thai food, and good value, in a pleasant if basic atmosphere. Delicious flavors. Great vegetarian options. Superb service. I have been looking for a place like this since moving to Forest Hills almost three years ago. Little did I know it was under my nose, hidden in a basement setting nearby.

Mint's Thai Kitchen is not just the best Thai restaurant in Forest Hills or Queens, it may be one of the best Thai spots for simple and authentic Thai fare in New York City. We love everything here, from their flavorful Pad Thai to their mouth-watering papaya salad to their seasonal sticky rice with mangoes. Try any of the curries and you will not be disappointed. This is a small cozy spot across the street from the Barnes & Noble but it's a warm and inviting place with a friendly and attentive staff. And, their lunch specials are a real bargain. For $8.50, you get an appetizer and an entree.

Appetizers, duck panang and duck pad thai were all superb!! However the restaurant was not busy and it took an unusual amount of time to be served appetizers and meals, but the food was worth the wait! Will definitely dine here again when we're in the area.

Thai basil shrimp was good, the shrimp were cleaned well and cooked to perfection. Spicing was generous with just enough basil to provide the flavor but not overwhelm. Efficient service and good prices.

I ordered the food but unable to pick up since we live in different State I live in Texas i mistaken the new restaurant vy my house and this one. The phone operator and the manager didn't make a big deal out of it I felt so bad but very thankful of their kind spirits. Definitely will visit when I go to New York.

Great place to have a quick bite or lunch or even dinner. A very nice niche place in Kew gardens with affordable prices. The food is great along with the staff! You have to try the drunken noodles!
