This wonderful old pub is located just up 26 from Janesville a few miles. Friends of ours mentioned the Inn to us and we were happy to try it out. We returned this time for our Anniversary. The Stagecoach is a small place, come expecting to wait a bit.
After giving your name to the owner make your way to the bar for a drink and conversation. Hint: blue cheese stuffed olives are a rare treat, the Bloody Mary's very well done and Linda said her Margarita especially nice. Sadly there's no beer on tap although you'll find bottled in stock along with a full bar otherwise.
Your waitress will find you at the bar and hand over the menu, returning later for your selections. Then just as you are finishing your second drink and starting to think about dinner she will take you to the table, salads, relish tray and whatnot all ready.
The prime rib melts in your mouth and the steaks delicious. What more can I say? Nicely done!
The desert menu includes a few ice cream specialties, a house tradition, cheese cakes, etc. Chances are you will be full and share something with your significant other... generally we leave slightly ashamed of ourselves for eating so well and pleased.
The bill is presented promptly at the end, more than reasonably priced, and you will be eagerly waiting for your next visit while letting the belt out a notch from this one. Highly recommended.
Had a delicious meal - beginning to end. Disappointed when we learned they had run out of prime rib just before we ordered, but we all (11 of us) went with Plan B. We sampled a variety from the menu - steaks, fish, chicken strips, and pork chops and not one of us was disappointed. Our waitress was wonderful - efficient, attentive, and friendly.
What a treat!!
First visit - Ron Faiola's Wisconsin Supper Clubs book brought us to the Stagecoach Inn. Super fun visit started at the bar with a couple of Wisconsin Classics - Brandy Old Fashioned, delicious. This place bustles with energy - from the greeting to the table service - everyone is on the move, some of the best teamwork I've witnessed in the food service business - congratulations for creating a wonderful dining experience. I have the pork tenderloins, cheeseburger soup, au gratin potatoes, house salad, and it all started with warm bread and the "salad tower". Fun presentation and delicious food. She had the deep fried shrimp and a baked potato - both delicious. We loved our visit, the serving team made us feel welcome and well treated, the food was delicious, and the locals provided us with great "color" on the history of the supper club...clearly the Stagecoach has earned the right to be included as one of Wisconsin's classic supper clubs - Enjoy your next visit, we sure did.
We’ve been to the Stagecoach several times and have never been disappointed. Expect a wait but it won’t bother you because old fashioned are excellent both in the classic bar and out on the patio. Fish and steaks are both fantastic and my wife loves the chicken, crunchy yet really moist on the inside.
Went tonight for the Prime Rib. By far the best we've ever had. It's also our favorite place for Friday Fish. Cod or Perch....can't be beat. Sean is the perfect host. Don't expect to be fed when you walk in the door. Always crowded but worth the wait. A must try place.
We had the best first experience! Friendly staff, delicious food, great old fashioneds and the perfect atmosphere for us. As I write this completely full on great food, I'm thinking we might become "regulars"
New Year's Eve is a busy night to dine out.
Restaurants are always packed! Stagecoach Inn is a very popular supper club on a normal evening. On New Year's Eve is no exception.
As usual service and food outstanding. My husband and I can't believe how smoothly the Stagecoach staff performed. The kitchen crew rock, April and Jenny amazing the wait staff out did themselves once again. They all work together as a team. This is a great place to dine. The New Year's Eve special menu had something for everyone!
Sean you are an exceptional manager always one on one with your customers and staff!
Thanks and Happy New Year.
Best Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet around! The food is always spot on and the relish tray is the BEST! Sean and the wait staff are are always friendly and on point! LOVE this place!
Friday night fish fry with family. Awesome food. Reservations, table was waiting when we walked in the door, and waitress was awesome. She quickly was conversing with the grandkids, ended their evening with a KitKat candy bar, totally family friendly, and a friendly goodnight from Sean. Highly recommended for a nice evening out. ! Thank you Sean and staff!!
Great food, great service, and decent prices. We had the filets and shrimp and it was amazing. The French onion soup is also the best I've had. Haven't been here in years and it's just as good as I remembered. We will definitely be making this one of our regulars for date night
Always have a great meal here and the owner is great. Good Friday fish fry! Sizzler is also outstanding. Good times and memories made
Thoroughly enjoyed the customary Wisconsin brandy old fashion along with the Saturday prime rib dinner. Everything was wonderful and was served in a supper club atmosphere. Will certainly be returning!

We love the prime rib and shaun has the best lobster
The atmosphere is fantastic! The food is wonderful, luv the relish tray as always. The staff is quite fantastic as well ! The prices are within good range
We have been going there for years, such a friendly environment and having a cold drink at the bar prior to dinner, you will find the guests there are as friendly as the staff.
We had our Veterans banquet there this past fall and felt so welcome it was just like the good old days when everyone waved and said hi to everyone they meet.

Stagecoach Inn is a Wisconsin supper club. Dinners and drinks are delicious. Owner and staff are great.
Great service and food. Everyone was very friendly, was worth the long wait
Always delicious no matter what you order. Been here alot of times and have never been disappointed. Great bang for you buck. The only improvement that i can think of is add something to the salad, just iceburg lettuce is not a salad. However with the tasty relish tray, a salad is really not needed.
Excellant food and outstanding service. Never disappointed when we dine here.
Thank You Sean and everyone at Stagecoach for making my Wife and Mother's birthdays that much more special on their day this evening! All food was exceptional and the staff was ready with great service!
We'll see Y'all soon!!
Cheers!!!
Awesome dinner and service as always. Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked. A+++
I have tried several prime ribs at the various restaurants in this area, but there is no need to try any more. I have found the best at the Stagecoach Inn.
Amazing food and service. And everyone is so friendly. Been going here since i was a kid and love that nothing has really changed
Wait staff is great, food is awesome and the owner is a pretty swell guy.
I have been here a few times while visiting friends nearby. The vibe is great! Friendly staff with a supper club vibe. Everybody is social and welcoming. The food is traditional steak house fare. On my part visit I had the ribeye special which was outstanding!
Good, cocktails, great staff and wonderful food. I'll come back!
Phenomenal food. Little expensive, but well worth the cost. Service was quick.. almost too quick. Felt a little rushed. Husband and I got his & hers filets (bacon wrapped, of course) with sautéed shrimp, mushrooms & onions. They were cooked to perfection (medium rare for the both of us). Old fashioneds weren’t anything special, but still good and strong. Snickers cheesecake was ok, but the main course was the highlight of the meal. Oh and the soup was french onion (good flavor), salad was basic, and the relish tray was ok. Definitely check this place out if you’re near Fort Atkinson.
We had a fantastic time on our 1st stop for our 22 Supper Clubs in 2022 tour. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming, service was fast and friendly and the bacon wrapped filet, to die for.! Highly recommend!!
First stop on our 22 Supper Clubs in '22. Did not disappoint. Filet Mignon was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Overall great experience.
First time visit tonight. Our server. Jamie, was excellent! The drinks, food and dessert were all fabulous. Great atmosphere, easy to get to and hard working staff. Everyone helps each other out and their service was flawless. Shout out to Jamie, she made the experience wonderful! Will definitely return!
Had their special sirloin steak and shrimp. The steak could have been more tender. Service was good.
This place will seriously rock your taste bud's! My fav is the steak and lobster. I have ate at this world class supper club well over 100 times in my 55 years, since I was 10. Awesome drinks, as professionally made as the food you'll surly enjoy. To top it all off it is actually affordable! The staff are all always professional, funny, kind, and friendly. So get out there, support your local business, and eat some superb food! Located between Fort Atkinson WI and Milton WI just off of hwy 26. Tell Shaun/Sean that Rick sent you, and enjoy!!
