First visit tonight and we are hooked! Started with burnt ends app and it was amazing! Tender, juicy, flavorful and the addition of jalepanos.... surprisingly delicious and addicting! We got a 2 meat platter each and tried all the meat choices, including the ribs. Favorites were pulled pork and brisket. Ribs and chicken were a tad bit overly smokey in flavor but still tender and delicious. The rustic mac n cheese, the bomb! Cornbread, flavorful with a nice heat. The decor was impressive and well done! Love the mixture of textures. Adding this to our rotation for sure! Oh, and the waiter we had was friendly, had great recommendations, and a fun personality! Thanks for a great dinner!
My fiancé and I dined here this past Saturday and found out that it went into new ownership. I ordered a Cowboy burger and up until then, there was only one other place that I thought had the best burger. This was a game changer! Excellent burger! Great cottage fries. Our waiter Zach was very good and very professional with a personality to boot. We will be back soon. You guys keep up the good work. I would highly recommend the Rustic Smokehouse to anyone. And by the way, love the music you guys have playing in the house! That made it a huge difference as well. Cheers!

I was just here last night. I absolutely love the food and the atmosphere. I will definitely return. I live in Fort Atkinson, so I'm very happy to see this new restaurant in our great city. I ordered the brisket last night and I can honestly say that was the best brisket that I've ever had. Yummy. Best of luck to these owner's on their new business. I know that this business will be very successful.
We went shortly after opening and had a great experience! In fact, we enjoyed it so much we went back with family from out of town who also had a great time.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were also impressed with the service being so prompt and well organized considering it had only been open for a few weeks. The food is great and a nice new addition to the Fort Atkinson area. So far our favorites are the cheese curds, pulled pork and corn side dish. Valbon, kudos to you on yet another great job with this establishment!
We celebrated our beautiful friend and her upcoming nuptials at the Rustic and had a wonderful time. Our server Drew was accommodating and considerate and we would definitely come back again if he would be our server.
First time there, we had the fish. Blue gill for me, lg pcs.. slaw, potato pancakes, applesauce, tarter sauce, ate 3 came home with 3. So lrg portions. Wasn’t going home hungry.
He had the baked cod with the specialty sauce. He said super good. Still same proportions, and sides.
We chatted with the people next to us. They had brisket on Texas toast. Said it was awesome and also their first time there.
Very nice servers. Food came in a timely fashion and was hot.
Loved the atmosphere and the blues music was the genuine stuff.
So we will definitely be going back.
Oh, we thought the cost was comparable to the same kind of restaurant.
