We stopped here looking for an outside eating area while cruising through Ft. Bragg. The inside eating area was spacious with a giant window looking out at the river below. The outside eating area for pet owners was not so much. It was a couple of picnic tables crammed against the back wall of the building overlooking the local trailer park behind the restaurant. Our server, Sheryl, did an excellent job and she was on point. The food, however, not so much. Although the burger was tasty, the patty was only half the size of the bun. And the ranch dressing for the salad had zero flavor. I'll skip this place next time.

We were visiting Ft Bragg during Fall break and had dinner here the first night. My kids are picky - think chicken tenders and fries - ugh. So, they weren’t thrilled with the menu, but I was! I had a yummy chicken breast dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. So good! My son had a chicken sandwich (not on the menu but they substituted a chicken breast for one of the burgers for him). Daughter had a Caesar salad. The service was good and quick. Food came out fast. We’d eat here again.

The food was high quality and extra tasty. It was artfully arranged in the plate. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was superb. The dining room was beautiful, with lots of green plants. There was restful piano music. The servers were cheerful and we could hear them laughing. Three different people checked in with us to see how things were. The prices were reasonable for such a high quality meal. I wished that I lived closer so that I could come back.

Was an interesting place. Had been shut down for a long time. When we went to go eat, they instantly asked us if we had made a reservation, which we didn't. They still sat us down, but it was by the bar. They had live music playing it was good but we were close so super loud. The waiter was new there and did a good job, but she didn't know the menu very well. Food was good. I had a steak and was a little under cooked for only a 10oz. The waiter couldn't remember what the sauces were that came on the steak, so she brought out all three with it. That was cool. It was fun a little awkward at times, but we will make a reservation next time, I guess. Saw plenty of tables open further away...

Located in the picturesque coastal town of Fort Bragg, California, the Noyo River Grill is definitely worth a visit. From the moment you step into this charming restaurant, you'll feel a sense of warmth and hospitality that sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The decor is cozy and inviting, with rustic wooden tables and a beautiful fireplace that adds to the ambiance. The menu is full of delicious options, ranging from fresh seafood caught in the nearby waters to locally sourced produce and meats. One standout dish is the shrimp scampi, which features plump, perfectly cooked shrimp tossed in a delicious garlic butter sauce. The grilled salmon is also exceptional, with a tender and flaky texture complemented by a savory herb sauce. And vegetarians need not worry, as the Noyo River Grill offers a variety of meat-free options, including a tasty roasted vegetable flatbread. But the true highlight of the Noyo River Grill is its exceptional service. From the friendly waitstaff to the knowledgeable chef-owner who frequently comes out to greet guests, every member of the team is dedicated to making sure patrons feel welcome and satisfied. In addition to the delicious food and impeccable service, the Noyo River Grill offers a quaint and peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family. Overall, the Noyo River Grill is a must-visit restaurant for anyone seeking tasty cuisine and warm hospitality on the beautiful northern California coast.

Went for appetizers at sunset. The best moments in FB are made like this! Ceviche, tartar, tea & ambiance all hit high notes.

Came on a Friday night around 6:30. Place seemed pretty busy but they got me in right away. They had some live music and I opted for a seat on the dock overlooking the port. The staff were great and friendly and made me feel very welcomed. Started with 1/2 dozen of baked oysters which was a little small, but delicious. Ate the special offered that day (Bacon wrapped swordfish with mixed veggies and garlic mashed potatoes). Would recommend 10/10 and will be back next time I’m in town. Everything was fresh and a good treat after a full day of travel :)

The food was promptly delivered to me at the bar and delicious. I had an ahi tartar and the wontons, and both were 🔥 The drinks and service was excellent, polite, engaged, but not focus stealing. The location is incredible, one of the most beautiful spots on the coast for sure! I can't wait to see what's made of this location in the future!

We are thrilled that this place has reopened. The view is absolutely fantastic. The establishment has undergone renovations and looks stunning. And most importantly, the food was great! They offer a wide range of options on their menu. We definitely plan on returning.

Only tried the Calamari and the clam chowder. Both were very good though not a fan of sweet and sour with the calamari but they were happy to bring us other condiments. The atmosphere is great! Beautiful view. Live music on a Friday afternoon was nice. Our server was awesome.

From the outside of the building 's appearance, we expected a "Grill" type diner. When we were seated we were awed by the mass of windows and tiered seating. This was far classier that a "diner". Our server was quick, attentive, well versed re the menu and specials. Our oysters in the shell arrived quickly as did our drinks. The mains were delicious. My only regret was dessert. Sticky Toffee " Cake" was listed instead of traditional "Pudding". It was a bit of a disappointment. They should have had pudding. Still, all in all, a very nice experience. We would return in a heart beat.

Reservations are a good idea on weekends. We did not know this, so we were seated at the bar area, when it was our 29th anniversary, and were hoping for a window seat view. My rock cod pacatta was delicious, but my husband steak was bland. We will know next time to make reservations.

The food was just ok. If you're looking for seafood this wouldn't be recommended. Our server was awesome and recommended several things to do in the area as well as good seafood restaurants. Note for those with kids. There's no kid friendly items on the menu. It's more of a pub dressed as a fancy restaurant I Ordered the Combo Plate, Fried Calamari, clam chowder and an old fashioned from the bar. The old fashioned was top notch.

Best service so far since being in fort bragg. Everything was fresh and even the pasta was actually homemade as advertised. The cucumber drink tasted like a hair salon, the lemon drop tasted like a lemon drop.
