Yum!!! This place was packed!!! We had a big group of 9 and they split us up in two tables so we could get in. Which is totally fine. My table got plates to all share. The “salads” are not really salads 🥗 . They’re more like small plates of 🧀 cheese. Not what I was looking for… lol. Calamari was amazing. But the actual dinners were great. Unfortunately I’m not exactly sure what we ordered but I think it was the sausage rigatoni and the seafood spaghetti plate thing 🍝🦐- those were amazing, top contenders. The last plate, some light colored pasta was lacking for us. No meat and just wasn’t that great. Cute place except the place was also playing like club music… not the vibe for a restaurant so that felt weird. Overall would come back!

Nice cozy place, wonderful food and great service. We visited with the kids on the back terrace for lunch and everyone loved it. Pizza with the pear turned out to be the great starter and then we enjoyed long and short pastas. Their prosciutto is so good. I recommend trying the strawberry basil martini as a light cocktail. It is a little expensive but it is worth it.

Wow I am going to tell everyone about this place. Truly feels like an "institution" in the food culture where you gotta visit and keep coming back to. Server was a true professional, great food, great drinks, extensive wine list in a fun environment with great vibe. The back yard patio is so charming to see. There are paid parking lots in back.

Great spot for a casual/romantic night out. Came here for a date night and definitely had a great experience here. The server was very kind and helpful. He recommended a few dishes from the menu as well as provide a very detailed description for item that we arent familiar with. The food is above average but not mind blown. Everything was very well-cooked. Recommend getting a spot outdoor as the decor and ambiance was amazing as compared to inside. The inside tend to be crowded at night and can be very packed with people.

I celebrated my wife's birthday at Louie Boss's Italian Restaurant, and while the overall experience had its ups and downs, the food certainly stood out. Our server provided good and pleasant service, setting a positive tone for the evening. However, the atmosphere was a bit chaotic due to the restaurant's busyness. Unfortunately, we were seated next to some rowdy individuals wearing shorts, dirty t-shirts, and flip-flops. It left me wishing the restaurant had some form of dress code to maintain a more refined ambiance. They were noisy and appeared to be quite intoxicated, making inappropriate remarks about passersby. But let's not allow this to overshadow the highlight of our visit—the food. My dry-aged steak was an absolute delight, with flavors that were simply to die for. My wife's pasta was equally impressive, boasting superb taste and quality. We also indulged in a charcuterie board that was a delightful accompaniment to some yummy wine. Despite the rowdy patrons and the bustling atmosphere, we left Louie Boss's with a memorable culinary experience. The exceptional food alone is enough to entice us back for another visit in the future.

Never a bad experience when I get a chance to get a seat. Very busy spot so plan ahead. They do have tables that don’t require a reservation but again always filled. Yet it is WORTH IT! Very good food. Everything from scratch and just great ambiance when you are there. Love the old photos on the way to the bathroom. Always something fun to look at. Drinks are very delicious. Over all a must if you live Italian food.

Short version: fantastic food, great ambience & service! My favorite restaurant in Las Olas. Long version: I always have a fantastic experience here. It’s my go-to spot whenever I am near Las Olas. I always get their arancini to start, and pizza for my entree but this time I tried their seafood risotto and it was delicious! I also tried some of my husband’s pasta (he got a white based pasta with chicken) and it was also very good. You really can’t go wrong with anything here. The service is also great. The servers and bartenders are very attentive and know how to give great suggestions if you’re in doubt of a food or drink. The garden is my favorite place to sit, it’s just so beautiful there. But anywhere that you sit at the restaurant, it will be great!

Delicious food and what a great dinning experience. We informed Derek that it was our first time and he took his time to explain the menu, specials, and made the appropriate suggestions based on his inquiry of what we like. We were not disappointed one bit!!! Food was delicious and the service impeccable. Highly recommended and if you can get seated with Derek even better!

Great menu! I had the spaghetti carbinara, and my wife had the bolonaise. Both were perfect. The waiter was doing double duty serving us and also tending bar.

If you are looking for an upscale Italian American restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, then you must try Louie Bossi’s on Las Olas. However, forewarned is forearmed! You must make a reservation, and if it’s for the weekend, make the reservation during the week! This place is ALWAYS filled with patrons, locals and tourists, alike! The cuisine here is Italian American, made fresh to order, served in a setting that feels Old World, yet modern at the same time! We sat in the garden area, covered, yet open and surrounded by greenery and fans to keep us cool. Service is outstanding!!! The food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and we enjoyed every bite. We have had the pizza in the past, and it was excellent! I must say that my risotto was as delicious as any made by my Italian mother and grandmothers. See the photos, please! As I have encouraged you before, download the Pay by Phone app as it automatically tracks where you are, puts in the section for you, and all you have to do is select the time. When in Fort Lauderdale, this place is a must do!

We went to this restaurant on a Thursday night, it was fairly busy so I would definitely recommend reservation. There was a wait so I’m glad we had the reservation because we got in immediately. We had a table outside for 4 which I was happy about because it was rather loud inside and it was quieter outside and there was more room. Our waitress Sam was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, very attentive, funny, kind, and just an all around delight. We started with the complimentary bread which was fresh and tasty and a round of drinks. Our one friend didn’t like the drink he received so the happily replaced it with a different one of his choosing. After that, we ordered a assortment of cheeses for the table which was delicious. They all came in fresh ‘ball-styled’ for sharing. Definitely recommend. After that, we all had different dishes. I was able to remember to grab a photo of two of them. I had the linguine fritti di mare. It was very good, however, I know it comes with squid but I was hoping it was just calamari rings. It wasn’t, there was squid legs in there too which I do not like so I picked them out. My other friends got ravioli, which was definitely delicious but on the smaller size. My two remaining friends got the linguini nere (pictured below) which was also very good. For dessert, we all split a cannoli which they gave us because it was our friends birthday. It was awesome, definitely get one. I also was pleasantly surprised that they make EVERYTHING fresh in house because you could definitely taste the difference. If you’re in the Fort Lauderdale area, I would definitely say check it out! Enjoy.

Good food with many choices on the menu. We had the garlic bread and meatball appetizer, with Ragitoni, Cacio E Pepe and Margherita pizza. The pizza crust was thin and chewy, excellent! Great tomato sauces all around. The Bolognese was very nice with the meat having structure and not over cooked. Highly recommend eating at Louie Bossi's. I would recommend reservations if dining after 5pm.

Everything was amazing during our dinner tonight. The food was spectacular, the server was AMAZING! His name was Carlos he was very caring, attentive, and also knew a bunch about the menu and each dish. His recommendations were lovely and he even customized each one of our dishes to our liking. We will most definitely be back and recommend this to all of our friends and family who visit.

Love this restaurant!!! My husband and I visit Florida a couple of times a year. Whenever we get the chance to go to Fort Lauderdale, this is my favorite restaurant and we always make a point to eat here. The food is fresh and delicious. They make their own fresh pasta, pizza dough, bread, I feel like I made it myself, so fresh! The atmosphere is gorgeous, love the back patio more than the street. However, on a busy night, if you want to see people and hear the buzzing of the cars, street patio is for you. I just love the back patio because it's like a garden and it too is busy at times. This is a must go to restaurant for amazing Italian food.
