I recently dined at Southport Raw Bar and found it to be a decent experience overall. The food was good and came at reasonable prices, which is always a plus. However, when it comes to the flavors, they were fairly average – neither extraordinary nor underwhelming. It's a solid choice if you're in the area and looking for good seafood without breaking the bank, but don't expect to be blown away by the taste.

Awesome local spot! I definitely recommend sitting outside. Great view and the inside was a little warm. Food was great, good service and fast to bring out our order! The oysters were fresh and phenomenal. Soup (Manhattan clam Chowder) was delicious!!! The blackened mahi tacos were soooo good too! Must try!!

Tried this place right after we landed at the airport. Near the airport and food was great. Had the blackened Mahi tacos, shrimp in old bay seasoning and half dozen of grilled oysters. Everything taste delicious. Need a quick bite before or after the airport. This was a great choice. Waitress was super friendly and great service.

To begin, get the grilled oysters and chicken wings. Next, try out the mahi tacos or fish & chips. Trust me on this, you need all of this in your life! Definitely my new go-to spot for seafood in the Fort Lauderdale area. It's delicious, inexpensive, and the staff is always so helpful and nice. Also has a nice little breeze in the back on the water. Will definitely be back soon!

Perfect Dinghy dock access. Great Mohito with just the perfect sweet sour balance. Fantastic mahi tacos are definitely worth having again. Shrimp were deliciously filling to the point we could fit any oysters in. Definitely a must return

Was in town for work and this place is a hidden gem!!!! A must go! Oysters were amazing and fresh! Also the bay shrimp is a must have. Our server Jason was awesome. We were a larger group of 9 on June 23 and he took care of us no problems! Thanks Jason for such an awesome time 🙏🤘

Breakfast available on weekends until 12:15 p. Until 11am. on weekdays. Although I would not consider this place for a full breakfast, there is a limited breakfast menu. There are outdoor seating tables and indoor booths, tables, and a bar. TV screens throughout. Lively and loud with music playing. It is located on a boat dock. The Bar gets constant service where as if you are sitting at the tables, you have to flag down someone for service. Once served, you don't see service for refills or if anything else is needed, and you end up waiting long periods to flag someone to come to your table. Great place for Boat/ Divers who love Rock & Roll. The place is filled with boater paraphernalia.

The best Bimini bread ever. I usually come here for mussels as well. Locals spot with full liquor, seafood, affordable sandwiches and a no-thrills atmosphere.

The oysters are always excellent - year round. Big and slurpy lol. I gave it 5 stars for what it is - a beloved place we locals love. An oyster house, a huge outdoor porch, music and great ambiance. I have eaten most of the entrees here too, some awesome, some only wayyy better than most places like this but this is not a michelin rated kinda place. This place is real. The ambiance inside is mostly booths if you want to have a quiet conversation. Which is why i love the patio. The ambiance, the river. Often solo live musicians. And their peña colada is yummy and strong enough to curl my toes. 👩 val

Very local spot. Great food and service. Option to sit by the water or indoor experience. It is a truly neighborhood place. When here, look up and read the advertising from business (some very old some new). Tons of history and entertaining.

We couldn't get a seat outside but it was nice to get seated inside right away. The food was delicious! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the corn and crab chowder had lots of crab in it.

Update: after 6yrs work took me back to the area and I absolutely had to come back to this restaurant and see how it's been doing, and it is still incredible! I sat at the bar this time, waitress was super attentive, the food was delicious and fresh. This time I got some fried oysters instead of raw and some key lime pie, which I highly recommend! Original review: This place was amazing. I've never had raw oysters before, but I'm glad I chose this place to try them. My waitress was very kind and attentive, and the food was excellent. Although I have nothing to compare, the oysters were delicious and the blackened dolphin was excellent. If I find myself in the area again I will definitely be back

Great old time raw bar. Keep expecting Quint from "Jaws" to come waltzing in. Grilled oysters are out of this world, could eat 3 dozen. Soups are thick and delicious. Clams are the best, 3 sizes to choose . Honestly, my wife & I have ,on a wim, have gone here for clams from Cape Coral (a 240 mile round trip). Clams on Florida's west coast just suck.

If you like fresh raw food and a casual atmosphere this is the place where locals like to hang out! I’ve had their steamed mussels, oysters on the shell, and their clam soup. All of which are excellent! Drinks are good and the service is fast!

Nothing grand. Fried food. Civeche special 1.5 out of 5 stars. Oysters were good. 4 stars only because I know my thoughts are only Mines and would have given this 2 stars but is a popular place. Oh yea no Guinness. Found that odd.

A perfect place for fresh seafood and appetizers as a meal! Our server was excellent! We had a dozen Blue oysters which were $4-$5 more than the regular raw oysters. Firmer and less salty. The Hot Kiss poppers filled with delicious cheese and jalapenos. The peel and eat shrimp doused in Old Bay and it's juices. Ah, and the Bimini Bread accompanied with a Shock Top Beverage! Make it your go to place for a quick seafood experience!
