I usually don’t cheat on my fish people but today I was in a pickle. Actually I’m glad I was in a pickle since it brought me upon this fish market in the downtown marina area of FTL. The lady who helped me was fast, efficient and pointed me in the perfect direction when it came to the fish. Quality was top notch, actually unbelievable. My clients were very happy and made sure to ask where I got the fish from. So if you’re ever in a jam, or you’re in the area and want amazing quality seafood. Go here, you won’t be upset whatsoever. The best fish Chowder on the planet & the fried grouper cooked to perfection. Staff very personable & willing to accommodate your request. Some may feel it's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's well worth a trip to try it out. And they have a wide variety of fresh fish to take home & prepare yourself.
This is a great neighborhood spot with a nice variety of fresh fish. I live right down the street in Harbor Beach and any occasion we have , whether it's for the boat parade or a family holiday dinner , we always make sure to visit Finster Murphys. Patrick has always been attentive and helped us for everything. Def check them out!
The freshest fish and seafood!!! Absolutely the best, always perfect quality, the owners & staff take pride in what is sold. Lunch served daily and homemade soup made fresh each morning... Finster Murphy's goes above and beyond to provide the best to their faithful returning customers. I would not get fish or seafood anywhere else!

I buy all of the seafood I use to cook for my boss here, it is by far one of the best places around Miami and fort Lauderdale to get anything you can think of, also the service is amazing! These are some of the things I've cooked with their products!
Really great place. Woman working the counter gave us some good advice and we ended up with fresh salmon over arugula and tuna with seaweed. Exquisitely fresh, generous portions, fairly priced.

They have the freshest seafood! Everything is literally right off the boats! I love their tuna sandwiches and awesome lunches!! It’s a great Mom n Pop place where the locals go!

My favorite place and ONLY place to buy seafood in Fort Lauderdale.
Their sushi grade fish is amazing, their salads made fresh there to take home are yummy, stone crabs during season are lovely and big as well.
They always have a great variety of items on their menu for fresh lunch, and use the best quality seafood.
Staff and owner are always very polite, helpful and I always feel welcome and comfortable there.
I come to Finster’s at least 5-6 times a month to pick up fish to cook at home, and a few times I enjoy it there for lunch.
They also have a lovely variety of grocery goods, from unique pastas and olive oils.
They also have a frozen food and cheese section with great quality items as well.
To sum it up, my two favorite things about this establishment, are the staff and the owner are delightful, it’s got that real authentic *family local* fish market feel, and then to top it off quality of the fish can’t be beat.

This is the best seafood I had in this area of Ft. Lauderdale. The service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the fish and chips, which featured three different varieties of locally caught fish.
Top quality fish at commensurate prices. Looks like a good place for a seafood lunch.

Premium quality is the standard at Finster Murphy’s. The store is spotless, the fish is fresh and cut by true fish mongers. It really does not get better.
