This little restaurant is one of those “don’t judge a book by its cover” places. I really enjoyed the vegetarían meal with chickpeas and plantains! I asked for it to be vegan, and it was very tasty! My food was to-go and for around $12, it was a great value. I would definitely recommend checking it out. :)

Don't let the outside fool you! Some of the best Jamaican food I've ever had. Took a chance on this place as it was highly rated by Google AND the locals.
I'm usually not a fan of curry, but I got it and it was a perfect balance of flavors and not too heavy on the spice. The jerk chicken and sauce were delicious. Other dishes our group had were the oxtails and stew peas.
The portions are really large and could be shared unless you are super hungry...or hungover. The prices aren't bad either!
There was only one lady working the front, so the service was a little slow. But it was definitely worth the wait.
Had the oxtail and curry chicken with rice and beans cabbage and a drink. $24. Good portion. Enjoyed my food not salty. Employees friendly. Bathroom 😕
I enjoyed their vegetarian meal with veggie bites and curry chickpeas. It’s filling, inexpensive at around $10 and reminds me of meals I use to eat before I went vegan. The customer services was good and I didn’t wait long. I recommend if you like Caribbean food.
One of my favorite stops for some quick flavorful Jamaican cuisine. Either lunch or dinner, they have fair prices and great portion sizes. This place is nothing fancy but does offer dine options and perfect when casual dining is preferred.
It’s a joy to go and dine at the machine the staff is very and welcoming always a joy to enter the door of the restaurant, they make you feel very and has family like atmosphere i enjoy dining there food is also great try it your taste bud will be very satisfied.
You can't beat the lunch specials. I get the jerk chicken with rice & peas, along with cabbage every single day. All that good food for only $6.99. It don't get better than that. 10/10. & the ladies that work there are cool as a fan. laugh with ya, joke with ya, everything.
Jerk machine has always been a great place for authentic Jamaican cuisine. My last experience there was great, the staff was very friendly and were very responsive. I highly recommend the jerk pork, as it is the best I have ever had. They are not too pricey and you definitely get your money's worth.
Must try the curry chickpeas!!!
Authentic jamacian. I had white meat jerk chicken with oxtail gravy , red beans & rice with plantains. Everything was delicious!
First off it's just something about a very clean restaurant that gets me every time. The staff was very friendly and the portions are humongous. We ordered oxtails and brown stew Chicken 10/10!! We will be returning once we're back in Fort Lauderdale..
This place is AMAZING!!!!!friendly service, portion of the oxtail with rice n cabbage on point taste was great even tried some curry goat that also was 😋 delicious and a side of plantains will be back next time im in Fort Lauderdale my new go to spot.
Love this place! Authentic Jamaican food! The curry chicken is amazing, but the oxtail is to die for. Highly recommend. The only problem is the location. Finding parking can some times be a pain, or you can get blocked in by someone parking behind. Besides that, I love this place.
The Jerk Machine Jamaican jerk white meat chicken, rice and peas with fried plantains. Black sauce on the side.
OMG it's so good.
I discovered this place a year ago by complete accident. I was door dashing to earn extra money because I just moved in. At first I wasn't too prepared for the food. With the person I delivered to being ethnic Jamaican and saying it was the best in Fort Lauderdale.
I went ahead and gave it a try. The staff were awesome, but I always ordered with Doordash app because I was too busy to do it any other way.
This place fed me through a dark time in my life. I was having health problems that almost killed me, I was far away from family, going through a breakup and recently lost my dear pet cat. On top of that, compounding work and stress. Yet even then, when I got the food It would instantly cheer me up.
It's good food, the women are kind and you'll not find any other place like it.
My favorite was the dark meat plate. Get extra jerk sauce for both the chicken and the rice. You'll be in heaven your first bite in.
Unfortunately I can't find any other place like it. I had to migrate north with my job and so far I'll probably never find a jerk chicken place this far up.
Definitely swing by or order something from here. You can't pass up Ft Lauderdale without trying some REAL stick to your ribs, delicious Jamaican food. I promise you'll never find a place like this anywhere else. In FL or in the rest of the country.
The one thing I wish I had a chance to try was the oxtail. My favorite food is oxtail soup, so I imagine it would be just as good.
Food always on point. Curry goat always meaty and serving big.
They say looks are deceiving. But in this case it was a positive thing. The food was really good. Staff was welcoming and pleasant. My only issue was the temperature of the food. It was definitely Luke warm. But flavors were on point and I will return. Portion size was good. Price was just right. I got the Jerk Chicken white meat with rice and peas withs trw chicken gravy on the rice. My man and his mother got Curry Goat. They both enjoyed their meal. There was a silence while we were eating, which meant we were enjoying our meal. The Jerk chicken wasn't too spicy.... the jerk sauce was. So I mixed it with BBQ sauce and it was perfect.
On first impression of the restaurant......the exterior....well....looks a bit dilapidated. Inside of the restaurant.......needs upgrading and renovation. I didn't use the bathroom so I can't comment on that. I'm usually a very superficial person when it comes to the look of a restaurant. I'll just walk right out if it looks unpleasant. But this day I was hungry.... and I'm glad I gave it a chance. It was probably one of the better Jamaican restaurants I've eaten at..
Best Jamaican food I ate in recent times. I went there for lunch this noon and I am really very satisfied with the food taste, quality of food and friendly staff. I am also attaching few pictures. Place is very clean. That's why I strongly recommend this place. I just loved it. Giving 5 stars.
I was here before when it was a BBQ joint years ago. So glad to see it back in action as a Jamaican restaurant. No frills, just delicious merry chicken and rice!
