Reviews The Tea Bar

I was a bit surprised that this place called “The Tea Bar” was actually Korean food restaurant, as I always thought they were another bubble tea kind of place. The inside was bright and spacious. Definitely not a place to get just tea. They had a good amount of table seating. We went on a weekend, and they had weekend brunch buffet. It sounded good, but they were not the kinds of food (Korean food) we were looking for. The only Korean dish I found on the buffet counter was Kimchi Rice. It would have been really interesting if all or most of the dishes served on the buffet were Korean dishes. Since we were there to try some Korean dishes, we didn’t go for the buffet. From their regular menu, we ordered K-Town Fries and Bibimguksu to share. They were both really good portion, enough to share among the two of us. The dishes, especially Bibimgusku was very spicy. We like spicy food, so it was good, we enjoyed it a lot. The owner was working the floor, and he brought us some complimentary soup. Then, after seeing my husband sweating with heat from the spicy food, he brought another soup, telling him that it will help with the spiciness. Really nice! By sharing the starter and main, we saved some room for desserts! We also decided to order tea to go with our dessert. This is where the name of this restaurant, “The Tea Bar” made total sense to me. Their tea menu was quite extensive! They had around 50 teas. Yes, that is not a typo, but 50 teas! We ordered Green Rooibos Key West from recommendation of the owner. For dessert, we ordered Red Velvet Lava Cake and Original Cheesecake. The cheesecake was really delicious, I am so glad we ordered that one! It was a very pleasant brunch. Everything was very delicious, satisfying and very affordable. The service was nice, the owner took a good care of us and made us feel welcomed. I would like to go back again and try out more of their tasty menus. Read my food blog for my full review of this restaurant and food.

The Tea Bar is really something special! The location is nice but it is rather small. It adds to the quaint charm but you may have to wait to sit. The variety of tea is truly outstanding! The equipment is modern and everything is very nice and clean. The food is a little pricy in my opinion, but it tastes good and is pretty fresh. Makes for a fun first date~ Their cheese cake and non-spicy rice cakes are a great choice! They make a good rice bowl for those new to Korean cuisine as well and recently started a buffet hour I am eager to try! I only gave 4 stars due to the price and limited seating.

Great place to drop by for brunch, lunch or a fast bite. Bring family, friends and kids. They have food choices for most tastes. If you like there is a brunch/lunch buffet. The food choices may change, but for when I took my family and extended family here we took a table for 6. And had fried eggs, Canadian bacon, sausages(including spicy choice), hamburgers, fried rice, seaweed soop, paninis, baled salmon, and a large asortmant of hot tea selection. Yammy! The bill came out to $100. Buy for the amount of food and people, clean quiet environment. So worth it. Did I mention clean bathrooms and high chairs. What are you waiting for? Go try it. Parking lot available, but may be a little full at times.

Decent tea place, good selection. Red valvet lava cake is the best but be aware, there's no lava!

InstaTrap, I commend them for trying. Did not get a chance to eat but drinks were fine.

Lovely tea place. Similar to a warm coffee shop, however it is Korean. It was worth every penny. The seafood fried rice was delicious! The teas were decent and the ambiance was welcoming.

If you like tea then you will love this place. I really enjoyed the peach green tea. My fiance and I really enjoy the chocolate lava cake. No need to go to the Charthouse for it. They also have brunch on weekend I always wanted to try but never wake up in time for.

Service was very friendly and pretty fast. All dishes at my table were great - fish cake soup, burgers (especially the kimchi burger). Nice selection of tea. The bubble tea is kind of frozen like a slushy consistency.
