So I was pretty excited when downtown FM was getting another restaurant. We needed one! This place has great food. (Seriously, try the chili) but what really blew me away was the level of customer service I received every time I've gone here. The very first time I went in, I was in a terrible mood. Work was really kicking me in the gut, and I was pretty upset. The man I interacted with behind the counter was honestly so happy and nice, that it made me feel better. I was so happy that I had decided to eat in instead of get take away, because he continued to be pleasant the entire time. After eating in several times there, today I got take away (busy day at work, hah). I noticed that they had loyalty cards at the register that I hadn't noticed before, so I took one. This time the guy behind the counter (a different one from the first guy) noticed and went ahead and punched not only for the meal I bought today, but for the previous ones I had bought too. (Really hope this doesn't get you in trouble, sir.) It just really increased my love of this place so much that I had to tell everyone else about what a great place this is. I'll be back many, many more times. So thanks not only for the food, but for always seeming to brighten my day too!

Honestly, this is one the best local places I’ve found, especially for those of us needing an affordable place to hang out. Kudos to the guys in the kitchen, working efficiently and quietly together. The sweet potato waffle fries were perfectly fried, as was the fish sandwich - flaky inside, crispy outside. Their house hot sauce (vinegar based habanero) was a really nice touch. The woman simultaneously handling the bar, all tables indoor and outdoor, and phone/delivery pickups was a boss.

Levi was the only employee and he filled us in on the place. He bartended, cooked and cleaned up. A cooler was full of bottled beer and was self-serve. Our fish basket was good and lots of it. Beer was pricey, I beer was $5.75

We loved Towne Tavern Main Street. Food was really good. Husband and I shared an order of 10 Wings with Bourbon BBQ. Delish!! (Sorry I didn't get a pic of the wings. Just the sauce that was left for dipping.) My Husband had a huge serving of Fish and Chips. Really good! And we know our Fish and Chips being from New England. I had the Chicken Quesadilla and added fries. Also really good! I liked the wing sauce so much I used it to dip my Quesadilla and fries as well. Service was very attentive. Server was alone tending a few tables and to go orders. But I believe she was very good making sure everyone was taken care of. I also enjoyed the fact you can grab your own drink from the fridge. Either Beer, Cider, Wine and other choices too.. Highly recommended it this place. Can't wait to go back and try other things from their menu.

The food is surprisingly elevated for a local tavern. Service was also great. Very limited indoor seating due to social distancing. They seemed to have decent cleaning practices as well. Overall a good experience. Highly recommend the traditional wings "Coaches Style". We had the Carolina Gold sauce and will definitely be back again for those. The Blue Ribbon fish and chips are nice and flakey and the serving size is very generous. The dill tartar sauce paired nicely with it too. The blackened shrimp wrap also exceeded expectations.

Yes! We will be back! Delicious, incredible portions and fantastic prices! If we lived in Fort Mill we'd dine here every week with our family. You can't beat the value. $26 for a family of 5 on a Sunday.
