Great cajun food ,,,,,bar atmosphere,,,,had happy hour prices until 6 ,,,,$4 wine was good ,,,, mushroom appetizer was the largest mushrooms I have ever seen,,,,well worth the money ! I tried the red beans and rice and the sausage with it was awesome!! Enjoyed the red beans and rice as well but added some hot sauce. Great portions ,,,plenty to take home ,,,,would have given 5 stars but the bar atmosphere needed some decor and AC wasn't working very well on our side of restaurant,,,thanks for the great food though!!
The place was not much to look at, but food was surprisingly good. Service was quick. Jambalaya was tasty and hamburger steak was scrumptious!
Great Cajun food. Shrimp & Grits, Mac 'N Cheese, and catfish tasted delicious. My only complaint is they serve Texas Pete (made in NC) as opposed to Louisiana Hot Sauce (made in LA). Otherwise very good!
Moved to the area about 2 months ago and kept seeing this place so with my wife out of town decided to stop in for dinner. All I can say is very very good. From the catfish bites starter, to the gumbo soup, through the chicken cordon blu with green beans almondine and grits on the side entree to the blackberry cobbler with a nice scoup of vanilla ice cream covered by whipped cream, the meal was very very good. Combine this great, friendly staff, excellent service, awesome (and lively New Orleans style) music background and you've got a great evening or lunch for that matter!! Pictures below were my meal.
We had a party of 9 & the staff was wonderful. We all ordered different so we could taste variety. Everything was great. They have plenty of sauces if you want more spice too. Every desert was amazing. Perfect place if you just want a desert & coffee or a whole meal.
