I was on vacation there in July. My Aunt and I were looking for a good place to have a grouper sandwich. SOB was within walking distance of my beach rental. This place did not disappoint. I had the fried grouper sandwich which was absolutely delicious. Crispy fries and a large piece of grouper.
Edited review: we just came back this year. We are still in love with this place. Service and food were a total 5 star experience. The sauce they serve with the coconut shrimp... unbelievable. I tried the Buffalo shrimp this time and they were mouth watering. (Pictured) Pair it with a red stripe.
Just what I was looking for...a giant bucket of a variety of shellfish. For a touristy place it wasn't bad. Funny when waitress asked if I wanted my oysters steamed or raw. SOB was a very cool experience. Great beach ambiance, live music and awesome crowd that visits the venue. The drinks were fantastic, they had great selections. I was missing the wow moment for their famous crab legs and Clams, they lacked flavor and size.
In town for the weekend, bartender at our hotel suggested we check out SOB for dinner (Smoking Oyster Brewery). Going to have to thank him tomorrow. Great food, drinks & live music! Best seafood in all FMB, and Haley our server was by far the best ever. We had the snow crab bucket, peel and eat shrimp and started off with the pickles. Everything was amazing, and again the service was amazing!
This place is always great. We had some peel and eats and the ribeye - they were both really good. We brought our dog and had patio seating. This is probably one of my favorite places on the island.

Oh my God this place is outrageously delicious the food the service everything is a must must do a try love their ceviche the prices are ridiculously cheap yet the quality is ridiculously and unbelievably exquisite must go you will not fail with anything you try in this restaurant highly recommended
