The Outrigger is by far the best place to stay in Fort Myers Beach! We just returned after spending a week here. We had the ground level ocean front efficiency, and cannot say enough good things about this place. The rooms are super clean, and welcoming. I know some reviews have said the rooms are "Motelish" -- To a degree, that may be so (TV's leave a lot to be desired and the vertical patio blinds definitely need replaced) With that being said...we weren't there to sit in the room and watch TV. While there, we walked pretty much the entire stretch of Fort Myers Beach, and I can say that The Outrigger has the nicest beach front of all! There is so much beach, you never feel crowded! The staff are accomodating, and very friendly. The deckside is a great place to spend the night listening to live music, while offering a fabulous view of the beautiful sunsets. Time seems to stop while here, and literally stops every night as everyone takes in the gorgeous sunsets silhouetting the palm trees surrounding this place. I give The Outrigger 5 stars. Lastly, I am adding an additional star for one of the waitresses who added more fun to our trip. Thanks Denise -- Maple Grove, MN -- for your Minnesota Nice hospitality ~ You were so much fun, and The Outrigger is lucky to have you! We will definitely be back!!
We had an excellent stay! Great room, great staff! Great � beach! Pool was super nice as well and just the right temperature! Enjoyed drinks at the Tiki Bar and food was great as well! Wonderful live music! Relaxing deck with view of ocean and beach! Stunning sunsets! You can tell all the staff work extremely hard to keep this hidden gem clean and inviting!! Would definitely recommend this resort �

Our family stayed at Outrigger for several days - We had the opportunity to stay on property for lunch. Lunch came in big portions, food was cooked to taste, and Danielle our server was more than accommodating! We will be back!
Always great weather, great place to stay , excellent food and the rooms are cleaned daily ! Plus surrounding establishments are great also !
We just returned from our first but not last stay. Never in all our years of travelling have we met such happy friendly staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Everyone wished you good day and asked how are stay was or if we needed anything. We were in West resort room 322 which was big and spacious.
All the special touches from towel animals to the free welcome drink and coupons for discounts made our stay one that will be talked about for weeks and repeat customers out of us.
Thank you and see you in January.

We just got back and enjoyed our stay tremendously. We stayed in a Garden effeciency. Looks like they are updating the rooms which are needed but they are clean and comfortable as is. Nothing fancy. The staff is extremely friendly and the bar is fantastic. Just feet from the beach. Great place to relax.
Lucked out, found this gem on our 1st trip to Ft Myers!! We will be back every year!! Thank you for the wonderful memories, best trip ever <3
We had a great time here! The building itself is a little dated- but not dirty or anything. The staff, tiki bar and deck, and the ocean views and beach will completely make up for it! Would recommended it and return ourselves � Donna at the front desk is the nicest lady on the beach!
Wonderful accommodations. Great tiki bar, sun deck, and pool. Staff was so courteous and friendly. We were pleased!
Had a lot of fun down in Fort Myers beach. Loved that Outrigger was calm and peaceful. This place is perfect for the family, but still able to drink without being yelled at. Staff was friendly, and rooms were clean. We'll be coming back next year.
Had dinner here twice during our stay and it was great both times! The pasta and Grouper dishes tasted great, the live music was wonderful, and being right next to the beach was lovely. The staff were very nice and busy, but would always make sure we were taken care of.

Wow, what a find! First off.. kudos to the staff!!! The service was super! The food?? Well, ok.!!! This was such a pleasant hangout though! Right next to the ocean!!

Schöne Livemusik. Mscht Spaß am Pool zu sitzen, ein köhles Getränk zu trinken und der Livemusik die fast täglich danist zuzuhören.
