This is a great local Cajun and seafood restaurant! It’s got amazing crawfish Etouffee, seafood pasta, steaks, and bread pudding. They have live music on the weekends and always great you with a smile.
Food is amazing. The restaurant is a little hole in the wall but the staff and the good are soo worth the high prices. Best Cajun food outside of New Orleans. I'm craving some landrys now.
Love it.. This is probably my favorite restaurant in all of Fort Smith. I find it hard to order anything other than the Seafood Pasta - just because I love it so much. But the Catfish Royale is really good too! Also, make sure you try the bread pudding, it's the best bread pudding I've ever had. The service is always friendly. Oh, and they have a wide variety of beer selection. I can't say enough good things about this place!
The atmosphere was very cool and the band playing was wonderful. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were amazing with the beer! Our main course was just as good and the service was great. It was a little pricey but I enjoyed the experience enough to go again.

Really good food, great beer selection but the service was suspect more effort should be put forth.
Steak with a kick.. What feels like a downtown pub/bar may be serving up some of the best cajun food and generous portions I've seen. R.Landry's is some sort of mixed up cross between a music venue, a dive, and a great restaurant. It has just enough of each to make you feel comfortable dropping by for a cold beer, or a huge meal.
This isn't fancy, as you are eating off diner style plates & tables and the decor might remind you of a back alley music venue. Come hungry as the portions are excessive. ( most people left with to-go containers)
I ordered the ribeye steak with crawfish etoufee' topping. The plate was a bit sloppy.(picture).. but oh so good. After about an hour I raised the white flag and called it quits. At $28.95 this really was enough for 2 to split.

Best Cajun food and service in town. It's one of the few restaurants in town that I would recommend.
Great food! Just like being in Nwalins!. This is a great place to go if you feel like stuffing yourself silly. Portions are large and, oh my goodness, so good that you have to eat every bite. The only downside (and it only a downside if ...) is the live music can get a little too loud for some ( not for me) -- just keep that in mind.
Love the atmosphere and all of the menu choices are excellent, especially the crawfish etouffee, the blackened shrimp (my fave) and the catfish royal.
I wish I could try more than the seafood pasta.... But it's so good I can't get anything else
Made me cry.... We got stuck in Fort Smith after our plane hit a bird. We stumbled in Landry's and were warmly greeted by a friendly staff and live music. Then the food... I had some kinda New Orleans sampler and I couldn't've (does that work?) been more satisfied. Ballin'.
To Die For!. Personally, I cannot believe Landry's is not in the top ten of Fort Smith restaurants. You are treated like they've known you for years as soon as you walk in the door. The crawfish etoufee loaded baked potato at lunchtime is my favorite and the crawfish trio is my favorite dinner meal. The food is always good, the sweet tea great every time, best beer selection in town, and the music and atmosphere are great! If I have out of town visitors this is the go-to place to impress them!
Try the crawfish étouffée, you will be impressed. Nice flavor and plenty of spice.
Went there after reading favorable reviews and we were not disappointed. The live music was good, the cold beer better but the food was by far the beat. The Taste of New Orleans plate was savory and the best creole food I have had in a long time. Don't be afraid to explore the menu. We tries four dishes and all were great. Also you have to try the sweet bread....it's divine. Enjoy.
Best beers in town. As someone mentioned; Landry's has the best tap beer selection in the river valley and that is true. In order to find a better selection or equal you would have to go to Fayetteville or Little Rock and they would be bars not restaurants. Landry's has been in Fort Smith a long time and has been the undisputed king for many years now.
The food there is good, although a little pricey. I usually get the Ribeye Royale. I highly recommend it for steak lovers.
Live music on the weekends. The bands are usually very good and not just cover bands either.
So, great beer selection, good food, and live music .

Great food. Everything on the menu is great, the drink selection is outstanding, and the Bread Pudding is required eating. The crew (a much better description than staff, I think) also add so much to the place, we felt like regulars by our second trip. The live music selection is also some of the best in the area, we've bought more than our fair share of CDs on our way out the door. Great meal, great service, and great music, it's hard to beat.
Authentic Cajun Flavor!. Being from Louisiana, I am extremely critical when it comes to cajun food. Landry's both met and surpassed my expectations. This was by far the most flavorful cajun cooking I've found so far in Arkansas. And it doesn't hurt that there's always live music and a large beer selection. I've only been there for dinner but they serve lunch as well. It may seem a little pricey to some ($10-$15 at dinner will get you a huge plate of food) but well worth it. Oh yeah, did I mention they make the best bread pudding around? It's a must!

Awesome restaurant. They had live music and amazing food! Very impressed with the blackened shrimp and gumbo. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a taste of cajun cuisine.

I’ve been eating at R.Landry’s now for over a decade and can tell you that it is by far the BEST in town. You’d have to drive to NOLA to get better. Friendly service, amazing food, and the best selection of beer in town! Plus the owners are in the kitchen and serve you. Can’t beat that.
The service is fantastic and the food is impeccable! If you want gumbo the way it’s meant to be made, this is your place. All the dishes are great so just pick something and enjoy!!

My husband is from south Louisiana and wanted something cajun so we drove to Ft. Smith to Landrys and to his surprise it was pretty good. I got one of the chicken dishes and go the gumbo and seafood platter. It was worth the drive and we will be going back.
Good food...took it to go but they couldn't provide plasticware had to have the hotel track some down for us.
Service was wonderful and the food is delicious.
