I had the burger. It was excellent!! He atmosphere was good and there was a live musician the night we were there. Several in our party enjoyed the beer as well!
Florida’s panhandle is fast becoming a quieter, more laid back contrast to the South Florida travel scene and Destin is leading the way as an alternative vacation destination. The Florida panhandle is also home to a growing number of breweries and brewpubs and one that my family and I visited and liked is Props Brewery and Grill, located at 255 Miracle Strip Parkway SE #19 in Fort Walton Beach next to Highway 98, close to Okaloosa Island.
Food was fantastic! I had pickle burger with fires and my wife had the fish and chips. I also order the lucky O'Neill lager which was fantastic.
The atmosphere could use a little improving. Maybe a little adjusting to the lighting (better curtains) and more table and chairs. Would definitely recommend
Love this place. The people are friendly. The beer selection is just big enough to suit everyone's taste. The food is awesome. Get the bavarian pretzels with the beer cheese dip AND the mustard. Gotta have both! You can't go wrong with any of the entrees!
We gave up on finding good seafood around here after a couple other disasters so we went the burger-and-a-beer route instead. This place did the trick. Good beer and huge burgers. I wish we had a Props back home.

Their IPA is a great beer and the food is always on point. Service is super friendly especially if you sit at the bar, which I alway do. The wings are good and spicy, they make an in house hummus and a mac n cheese I cant say no to. I havent had a burger yet, but Ive seen them come out of the kitchen and they look delish. If youre in the area and like craft beer, check em out!
I've been there several times, and they are consistently out of the beers they have listed. If they're out of it, they should take it off their chalkboards.
My favorite menu items are fish tacos and buffalo mac & cheese. Great food! The service has always been great too!
There's nothing I'd change about this place!! We ordered two flights of beer, which allowed us to try all eight of their beers on tap, and we could each pick out a few we liked most, but they were all tasty. We ordered the Buffalo Mac N Cheese. Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS!! The cheese was velvety and the blue cheese made it. It only got better when I ordered the Bread Pudding Bites. From the first bite I wanted to just bury my whole face in the basket. It was cinnamony and sweet and not greasy at all. The delicious sauce that comes with it I could drink. The bartender, Mike, was great, and the other patrons were welcoming and fun. We will definitely be back!
If you like microbrews and fantastic burgers, this place is for you. They actually have their food paired to the beer they make in their restaurant. You can even sample their different brews to see which ones you'll want to order. If you're in the area, definitely hit this place up.
Went here last night for the first time. Had the October fest and IPA, both were good, the IPA was not as hoppy as I like but was still good. Also had the BeerBQ flatbread, tasted great. It did take sometime to get the food but our waitress stopped by often to check on us and kept apologizing for the order taking so long. If your in the mood for a beer and something to eat check this place out.

Very good overall. I was very pleased with our meal. I had their special burger that came with fried jalapeños. The meat was very good/flavorful and not dry. The burger bun was excellent and good quality. The only off point was that the special had listed the fried jalapeños as fresh but they tasted like ones from a jar. The french fries are hand-cut and very good as well. From around the table the fish from the fish and chips basket was fresh and sizable. The fish and chips also came with a nontraditional appearing homemade tartar sauce that was very good as well. The coleslaw was also fresh and light. Their mac & cheese has sizable shell noodles and a thin cheese sauce. While the mac & cheese was good, it came across as slightly bland or maybe it lacked salt. Their house-brew beers are also very good. Their porter has a smoked malt flavor that comes across nicely. For an early dinner the service was great. The total cost of the meal was very good. Very pleased with the overall food quality, service, and price of the meal. Will definitely go back.

The shrimp po boy was decent, excellent place for lunch and they have some damn good craft beers.
Brew their own and I drive from Destin all the time for their beer. Great blonde, IPA, and porter plus they do small batch special brews every now and then. Other good commercial brews in tap too. All their food is really good and reasonable. Awesome fries, pretzel sticks, chicken wings and fingers, burgers. Its all good trust me. Comfortable atmosphere. Pretty much my go to bar.

Great food, amazing beer.. Had the BeerBQ chicken Flatbread, it was fantastic. Also had a few of their home brewed beers, all was great. Sat at the bar, the bartender was super nice.
Pub Grub at its Best. After reading some of the negative comments regarding Props it appeared these people only wanted a 'Whine Bar.' I have made many visits since June 2012 and have always found it to be a welcoming locale. The craft beers they make in the pub at times have varied in taste due to their tweaking of the recipes, due to different brewmasters, but all and all the beer has always been of good quality and taste. Likewise, the menu has changed too, especially with changes of kitchen staff yet overall the food has been good and creative at times, especially using their different brews in various dishes. Service has always been friendly and efficient. But from my experience I find Props a great place for singles, couples, families, and larger groups...and recommend others to visit and make their own decisions, not base on what of people who expected a "5 star restaurant" not a brewpub.
Tasty Brew. This is a nice place to catch up with friends and enjoy a cold brew. What is our family favorite? Pumpkin Beer...It is tasty! There is a selection of flavored brew to choose from and enjoy whether it is hot or cold outside! Salud!

Great Beer Good Food. In town on Vacation, love local joints and love micro-brewed beer, so this place was a given. Took the family, Kids had chesseburgers and loved the fresh cut fries. Wife had the fish tacos, tilapia at a gulf cost restaurant? It was good, with blackened fish and sweet slaw, it was a good combo. I had the spicy grilled chicken sandwich and the 4 kings brown ale. Great Combo. Service is OK, place was kind of busy for a Thursday.

I have been here 3 times. the food is awesome and my husband loves the beer. the service, though, has always been under par.
Good wings, Great Beer. I had Four Kings Brown Ale and my wife had Overlord Ale. I taste tested a few others (ask and they'll bring you small samples - nice touch), but stuck with the Four Kings for another round -- great taste, smooth finish. The Overlord Ale was tasty beer too.
I had the wings and really enjoyed those and my wife had a wrap that she enjoyed. It was fairly toddler friendly, but no diaper changing stations -- at least bathrooms have a locking door, and it's not the first time we used our changing mat on a floor.
The waitress we had was super nice and we enjoyed the outdoor porch since it was not too hot outside. I wish I had time enough to become a "regular" by having 100 beers in 60 days -- which earns a mug and discounts, because it's great beer and a nice atmosphere.
The 10% off for active military was nice too -- as it should be considering this place is military owned! Support your local troops -- come eat/drink at Props!

Oh Happy Day!. Props is just the kind of place we needed here in FWB. Let's start with the food: I have gone through about half the menu so far, and everything has been outstanding. The wings are great, just the right amount of sauce, and the hummus with pita chips (get 'em baked) is an excellent appetizer. The burgers are top shelf, along with the bratwust plate, the fish tacos, and the spicy chicken sandwich. Haven't tried the wraps yet, but if they're anything like the rest of the food served at Props, they're gonna be good. Now for the beer: The Flying Coffin IPA (in my opinion) can hang with anything out there in the craft beer world. The Blonde Bomber Ale is solid, as is the Four Kings Brown Ale. The star though is the Flying Coffin IPA. The service at Props is great, the place is clean and comfortable, and the prices are right in line with the quality of the food and beverages. Props is the real deal folks, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent. Brought my whole family. There was something for everyone. Burgers and salads were very good. The selection of specialty brews was good. Service was excellent. This is a hidden gem of Ft. Walton.
Hidden "emerald" gem. Tried this place on a recent vacation to fort Walton and it was a wonderful surprise. Lots of good beer on tap and a typical bar menu. The bar food is above average and the waitstaff was the best we have had.if your looking for a place with cold beer and good food, check this place out.
Friendly Staff and Owner. This place is definitely a sport's bar. Don't go expecting a pub/brewery environment, and I didn't get a hint of "grill" either. Still the staff and owner were eager to please and the beer selection was outstanding. The food was nothing revolutionary (limited to bar food) and perhaps a wee bit overpriced (a heated soft pretzel with food service cheese sauce for 5.50?!). But we'll be back, especially when we hear that they have the home brews available.
LOVE IT. This is a fun casual dining place with 8 large screens playing whatever you ask to see. Food is great. Really like the Beer Cheese Soup, the garlic hummus, and the ceasar wrap. Beer is great. I see people complain that they cant get pitchers. I have never been to a place that serves craft brew in pitchers. Part of the fun is tasting the different beers. They recently lowered prices, making it even better. I love the idea of this place and that it was started by a couple of guys just wanting to make beer. We are anxiously waiting for their brewery to start. We will be the first ones there.

Loved it. The food is great, especially the Cesar chicken salad wrap. craft beer is reasonably priced. I love the t.v. Set up around the bar and the prop hanging from the celling is cool. atmosphere of the place is fun.
We love this place!!. Hoping for our very own Stammtisch where we can read the beer list from the blackboard and see all of the flatscreen TV's at one time. Although we have yet to work our way through the entire menu, we especially like the brat with sauerkraut and hot mustard (when it comes with the good hard roll), the burgers, and a special kudo to the fry chef for the great tasting deep fried pita wedges to go with home-made hummus or salsa. I took some of the fried pita home and dipped them in confectioners sugar and although it sounds weird--they smelled and tasted just like beignets!! Very nice surroundings at this brewery/grill.
I really like this place! Food is surprisingly good and the house brews aren't bad! I went here a few times and the atmosphere was nice.
I had the buffalo chicken sandwich one night along with the burger another night and was pleasantly surprised. Much better than some of the big name chains.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while on vacation. They offer a 5% discount to Military-Affiliated/Veteran people. Delicious burgers (better than Red Robin), great service, AMAZING beer selection, and awesome artwork on the walls. A must when you’re “tired of the seafood” and want a good burger. The Blueberry Pilsner was my favorite of the microbrewery, with the Bomber Blonde Ale as a close second.
We hopped on over on a Saturday night in early February. The place was busy, but we sat immediately.
We were greeted quickly and ordered our beer. Our drinks returned quickly and we ordered food.
I had the Props Cubano and my wife had the Buffalo Mac and Cheese. Both were great! The Cubano with friends was a lot of food. My wife enjoyed the spice of her Mac and cheese.
There was live music that was entertaining. TVs are all around so you always have something to look at if there’s no conversation.

Excellent food!! I got the catch of the day, which happened to be mahi-mahi. I got it blackened. It was amazing! The atmosphere is great, a nice open bar/dining area. Try their beer as well! I had the Blonde Bomber and 4 Kings and enjoyed both very much!
The service is on top of everything and are super friendly. The food arrived fast and hot and delicious! They are happy to answer questions and make recommendations! If you're an out of towner this is a superb place to visit. Get here early though they fill up pretty quick!

Despite being busy for the pub crawl, the food came out fast. The Reuben was really good, onions rings were fresh, no complaints. Bartender was great and there was a sweet lady(might have been manager) but she was funny and super personable. I would definitely come back and drink and eat here again.
I discovered this place last year on vacation and couldn't wait to come back.Great beer and awesome food. I like the Blonde Bomber beer and the bbq hamburger (1/2 pound) covered in bacon and onion rings. I also had rings for my side because they're good !
Last week while on vacation in Panama City Beach, I took my buddy Rick (pictured) over to Props in Fort Walton Beach. He thoroughly enjoyed himself. He especially appreciated the aviation theme. Waitress (Paula) was outstanding!
Great service. Great food. Ordered the breakfast burger to go, had a glass of local draft while I waited. Did not have time to dine in this trip, but will definitely try to next time so I can try more of the different beers on tap.
The fish tacos were awesome, as were the sweet potato fries. Not local fish, but still really tasty.
Beer was spot on! We tried the blood orange blonde, the porter, and the imperial IPA, all excellent. Blood orange blonde was my favorite.
When we travel we love trying microbreweries so we were happy to find this place. Cute tees too ☺️
We came and were greeted and shortly after our waitress came to get out drink order. She suggested a beer for my husband which he loved! We ordererd Sesame Thai wings for our appetizer which were delicious and i got a burger and the hus got a Mushroom Burger. He said his was great and mine was too..and they have these fun potato twist wedges..which were yums..do yourself a flavor and stop in!
When it comes to places to eat and drink this place has some of the best selections. A great environment for family and friends. What ever your preferred style of beer is this place probably has what you like. Prices are great and the staff is very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
