Very good, friendly service, colossal wings. Went for lunch and was very pleased with the pricing, quality, and service. I'll definitely be back in the future.
Awesome place. Great daily specials, great service every time I am there. The only place around with a sauce that is truly hot enough for my liking. One of the top places in the area.

Best Ever. I have never had a wing I did not like from Buffalo's Reef. My wife and I eat there often and take out as well. I have not found a better wing. I live in Crestview and wish we had one locally. The others just do not cut it!

It's changed. I used to LOVE buffalo's reef. always said they had the best chicken fingers/fries. but i moved away for 3 years and when i came back it was different. they've changed their chicken fingers and not for the best. last time i went to the fries were undercooked. not good!
Salty Fries. My husband and I eat at BR pretty frequently. It is his favorite place to go for wings. I have ordered the chicken tenders from the menu, and I can say from that experience it's best to stick to the wings.
The fries are super super salty, which I enjoy now that I'm pregnant, but prior to being pregnant neither myself or my husband could stand the salt.
I never have a complaint about the service. Always friendly and attentive.
I do hate the booths. I hate the weird pictures on the tables, and the fact that they may have been cleaned in front of me, but I still feel like I stick to them. Also its really hard to get my huge pregnant belly into and out of them.
All and all, if you are looking to watch a game and eat some wings, I'd spend the money here over BW's (food fail) or papa joes, (service fail).
In my opinion, there are three qualities that make a restaurant great. They are, in order of importantance, quality food, reasonable pricing, and service. Buffalo's reef has all three in spades. The wings were thick and juicey, perfectly cooked and coated. My server was so sweet I couldn't help but tip her half my bill. Go see for yourself. But leave all pretense at home. Don't bring a big needy group and don't go during lunch rush, and honestly assess this Fort Walton Beach tradition for what it is: a great place to get wings.
Horrible take out service. This is the 3rd or 4th time they screwed up my take out order... One day I will learn.. FOOD was great, but the shabby service is problem
We liked it. Had wings, onion sticks, chicken sandwich, and a very large soda and sweet tea. My family did not walk away hungry. Simple atmosphere and we had very quick service and food was hot.
Good Local Wings!. The wings are good, the service friendly and prompt. The place gets pretty packed, especially on the weekends during football season. Could use some updating on the inside, but that's a minor quibble. I usually order mine to go, and have a beer or two at the bar while I wait. Buffalo's Reef is a good, solid, local joint that beats the chains. Recommend!

Best wings in town! It's been the same for years with no reason to change. I see people complain about the prices going up but helloooooo...prices everywhere have gone up because of cost. Beer prices are good! Go see Brandi for at the bar if you want a huge laugh! She's a riot and the service is stellar. Feels like family!

Yummy Wings!. So far, these are the best wings that I've found in the FWB area...the buffalo sauce has great flavor! Way better than the franchise across the street, as far as wings are concerned. The fried pickles are really good too. It gets a little slow sometimes during busy Saturdays, but we usually keep that in mind before stopping in on game days (you can call ahead and pick-up to avoid the wait). I agree with some of the other reviews that the service can be hit or miss (we've really only had one mediocre experience though), and the benches are not comfortable at all after 30 minutes.
Just okay.... Service was really bad, but the taste of the wings were good. Really pricey beer and not a lot of food for your money, but the in laws paid, so whatever.

Just ok. This used to be my favorite wing place. My husband and I visited recently and the wings were big and meaty but very undersauced and not quite as crsipy as I had hoped. You won't be disappointed with the wings. But, sadly, they're not the best in my book anymore.
Best Wings in Okaloosa County!. The wings are so crispy melt in your mouth. The potato salad is so good, home made for sure. The staff is stupendous! Brandi was the best!

Can't beat the Reef. This is THE place to get wings in town, its that simple. I've yet to go to another wing place that can beat the Reef.

Food is wonderful. Booths are bad. The price has been creeping up over the past few years. Pretty soon it may be prohibitive. The booths are very uncomfortable. The food is always good.
Loved it here. I hate when restaurants serve curly fries, I don't like them. But the ones here were the best I've ever had. I had the jalapeno burger and my husband had his usual mushroom Swiss. Mine was one of the juiciest burgers I've ever had. It was exceptional! My husband loved his too. I'll be back soon to try the wings. Nice change from Seafood.
Easily the best wings I've had, and the wife and I like to go out and try wings wherever we go. These were top notch. Cooked perfect, crispy, plenty of very good sauce, five and five flats and drums(important to the wife being team flats), ranch was very good, fries very good, also to mention pepper jack Mac n Cheese bites were excellent as well. Definitely will be coming every time we come to Destin.
Deliciously friendly and local, not a franchise but a family owned business. They have been serving up great wings, etc for a good minute, Good clientele with a sense of humor. Barbie, pictured, was left by a guest and has been seen at various locations in the restaurant, during the "C" thing with a mask. LOL! That captures the spirit of the place well. Have been eating here for years, never a bad meal. Note: they HAVE the franchise like flavors, but to me their in-house sauce is better. Recommended!!
The best wings you will find anywhere (and I mean ANYWHERE). Great food and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and you feel like they are old friends.
Service is as good as the rest.

So did slot of reading on the wings reviews. Love me some wings. So ordered 15 and split the sauces. Hot and fiery Thai. Both sauces very good. Chicken skin was crispy which is a A+. Not much meat on the bones as I would have liked. But good place and food.

This place felt and smelled like home! Walked in and immediately got the Duff's vibe, Duff's if you don't know is the place that invented the chicken wing in Buffalo. Sadly, while the wings were good sized and tasty it was no Duff's. Their mango habanero sauce left me to desire one with more flavor, these were lacking. But their hot BBQ was out of this world delicious. Staff was friendly, place had a line out the door when we left. Would go back, would recommend.
We greatly enjoyed this restaurant. The hostess and the waitress were both friendly and accommodating. The staff worked well together to get the job done. The food was great!! They had the best wings my wife and I have had in a long time. Will definitely eat here again.
This place is great. The wings were so MOIST! And this place is the only place i know that has smiley fries! Actual smiley fries like from when you were a kid! And they rock too. The food didnt take long to get out there either. Will eat there again.
