We always enjoy eating at Okinawa because of the exciting Hibachi, delicious food, and friendly staff. My son was very excited to spend his birthday there and was surprised by the birthday song and fruit. The sushi is great, too, and I always enjoy trying a different roll when dining at Okinawa. P.S. I've eaten at this restaurant since I was a kid, and it has always been great. It's awesome to now celebrate there with my own kids.

We visited this restaurant a few times and the food was always amazing, so we decided to have our wedding rehearsal dinner here. We could not have made a better decision! The food was absolutely delicious and the service we received was wonderful. They did everything possible to accommodate our large group with some dietary restrictions, and even let us bring in and cut a cake to celebrate. I could not recommend Okinawa more!

The kids loved it. We did sit in front of the grill and the cook did all the tricks for the kids like the onion volcano, the fire, catch the rice, egg toss etc, and was funny and very good with the kids. You do have the option to just sit at a table instead of at the grill if you like. It is kinda pricey, but it was worth it to us because the kids loved it and were occupied the whole time watching the cook, the food was great, and so was the service.

Went for my nephew's birthday and was very pleased. The staff was wonderful and had us all engaged while the chef was cooking. The food was so delicious and cooked exactly how we asked for it to be. If you have not been here you should definitely try it. It's a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere.

10/10 Experience, great food that’s reasonably priced, and really kind staff, my favorite place nearby. The bathroom is the cleanest public restroom I’ve seen.

We took the grandkids here for their first experience with Hibatchi. The chef was amazing and patient with them. He had them laughing outloud. They had a blast and like always we really enjoyed the food.

While driving through Fort Walton & Mary Esther area (NW Florida Panhandle just west of Destin), we came across this Okinawan (Japanese) Steak House with nice Hibachi (8 grills) & non Hibachi dining. It was a nice surprise. The food was typical Japanese steak house with the elaborate performanceby the hobachi chef. We did not notice any authentic Okinawan dishes which was a disappointment, but at least the name of Okinawa took top billing in the sign. The staff were were all in kimono robes or Yucatan (cotton summer kimono) adding to the atmosphere of Japanese dining. Sushi menu looked good and there were plenty of delicious menu entré & dinner items besides the hibachi. Table dinner items were $20-30 while hibachi were $30-50. Ala carte side dishes & appetizers were also available for less as add one or side dishes. Overall, good food & service. Only negative was the soup was simple broth rather than miso soup.

First time trying this place and the rolls are a lot smaller than what we are use to buying. Plus they left out avocado in one of my rolls. The tuna bacon roll was delicious. See pics please!

It was my first time there. We were seated quickly and served. I honestly don't remember what we ordered 🤣. Sushi was good. I would definitely go there again. Prices were midrange per person (3) based on what I selected below. Technically the bulk of the bill was what I ordered because I can eat 😆.

Such fun! It was an experience watching the chef flip the spatulas and juggle egg yolks. The food was great. I highly recommend the Teriyaki Steak. They also have sushi in different flavors. Have fun and enjoy your meal.

We love this place! My family has been here twice now so I figured it’s time for a review. Seating: We sat at regular tables because we didn’t want to wait for hibachi tables both times. Seating is quicker that way, at least for 3 people (me, hubby, 2 almost 3 y.o.). Ordering: The staff is very helpful in regards to questions you may have and making suggestions. There’s a kid’s menu but we ordered chicken tenders from the appetizers and a la carte noodles (not pictured 🙃) for my toddler. Food: Absolutely delicious! We got an Okinawa roll (not pictured 🤦🏾‍♀️ because we ate it immediately 🤤) which my husband says is not sushi because it has shrimp tempura in it and is deep fried, but boy was it yummy 😋. The first time we shared the Chef’s Special Hibachi, which comes with filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp and I got food euphoria (iykyk). The second time, I ordered the Okinawa Special (pictured) which is just regular steak and hubby had no complaints but I do prefer a more tender cut. We get our steaks cooked medium. The salad and soup are pretty standard for hibachi restaurants and nothing to speak of except my toddler really enjoyed the soup. Pricing: It’s not a cheap restaurant but there are very few cheap hibachi dinner places. Toddlers meal was $12. Adults were $50 the first time (shared) and $40 each this last time. If pricing concerns you, there are lunch specials on the weekdays, before 2pm. We went for dinner on Labor Day. Atmosphere: Kid-friendly. Bathrooms: This is really nitpicking but I know this could make or break someone else experience. One stall was out of use and there’s only one sink. There was a changing table which is outside of the stall so it’s convenient to use but it’s in front of the sink which makes the sink difficult to use in these COVID times 🤷🏾‍♀️. Also, the trash bin is really beat up looking (no picture, sorry again). Overall: I’ve had two great experiences here so I would definitely recommend this place! If you made it all the way to the end please give this a like! 👍🏾
