Good atmosphere, staff was great and food was reasonable. Different flavor on the sauce than just the average place. Definite try out!
Make a point of eating here every time I get back to the Fort. This time had a friend of mine here while in town for a business trip! His words, “Best Dog & Burger ever!” Quick service, great food at a low price!
Just a good ole American Hot Dog. Nothing fancy but it is done very well. I told my Wife while sitting there, "This is proof you can take something simple, and if you do it right it can be a complete success". The place was packed at 2:15 in the afternoon but we managed to find a seat right away and were eating in ten minutes. Steamed buns, fresh all beef dogs, all the condiments you want.
I brought my Marine Corps buddy here 8 years ago and he has spoken of it ever since. He recently had to bring his U.S.O. mobile unit in from North Carolina to have some warranty work performed on it and insisted on having some Coney Island dogs while in town. Bob Brown and I stopped in on Monday and the dogs were as good as they were eight years ago. Consistent quality and friendly atmosphere...
Always excellent service and delicious food. If you don't have room for dessert ( I never do �) get some pie to go!

My wife teases me about riding my Harley 90 miles to eat a Coney dog. 180 miles round trip and it's well worth the effort!
