Great Italian Food. Very consistenly good Italian food with service that is usually pretty good. Salads are good, bread is OK, not great, all the entrees I've had have been good and usually the wait isn't bad at all. Far better than any national chain restaurant as far as quality and service.
My family loves to go here but recently we decided to stop going. We all know the reasons why people like Casas but what are the bad side? How about foisting stale multi day-old bread on customers? How about salad that is been sitting around and dressing all day and is completely wet and the lettuce has lost its structure totally? How about when you take your wife and two sons in you split two meals and have for salads and for drinks in the bill comes to 80 bucks with the tip? They're serving sizes I've been getting smaller and smaller over the years and now it just is not worth it.
Fantastic. The local Casa chain is among the best. Their Casaburo salad is the best you will ever taste. All of their pasta dishes are great, and the bread is fabulous. If you go there on your birthday, you will also get a nice cake from a local bakery. You can never go wrong with Casa.
Good Food, Good Service. We ate diner here at the recommendation of a friend who lives in Fort Wayne. Our dinners were good and the service, in spite of the large crowd, was excellent.
While each casa has primarily the same food each one has a different atmosphere. Had not been to this one in many years since there is another a mile from home. I had the Pollo Santa Lucia. Which was crusted chicken breast with cheese tomatoes and spinach in a wine sauce. It was very good although I might ask for a little less sauce next time.
Consistently, good. Have had a few meals here over the past few years, most recently yesterday for dinner. All meals, from pizzas to fish to steaks to calzones have been quite good. Service and atmosphere are good - friendly and clean place. One small dig is that the bread is nothing fancy or special - really, IMHO, need a "catchier" bread there, something to be a bit more memorable. Overall, while could not say its the best place, Italian specifically or as just a restaurant, but the meals are quite good, esp. for the price, and with good wait staff. Recommended.
Another Favorite!. We go to Casa frequently, but have found that their food can be a hit and miss. The Risotto Alberto is one of my favorites! In all honesty, they could easily cut their recipe in half and it would be an even greater restaurant! Many of their entrees don't have enough seasoning or have way too much pasta compared to meat and vegetables. They have gone a long way in the last 3 years to improve the menu, but some items are just not that great. The salad on the other hand is always has been and continues to be their crowning glory! Just having the salad topped with chicken makes a very filling meal. The desserts are also wonderful. Service is always excellent. This is another local Fort Wayne restaurant that we bring business associates to! As long as you know what to order, this place can be excellent.
We eat there all the time .. Great chicken fettuccine alla carbonara
and great salad and bread think it good place if you are visting or living in fort wayne and good bread too
Best Italian food in Fort Wayne. Make sure that you try their unique house salad.
This mix of kicky, spicy sausage, pepperoni and shrooms was pizza perfection, bubbly and brown from the brick oven, and proof that Urbanspoon reviewers are smarter than their Yelp brethren. Next time in FW, I will be back at Casa, and I will bring friends.
