It would be hard to believe that this place isn't among the best Chinese food in the immediate area. The service wasn't as good as the food but was still adequate. The Hunan fish is amazing, perfect taste for brown sauce lovers like myself.

Best Chinese around. Tired of “making do” while everyone else eats off a cheap buffet. This is a wonderful sit-down Chinese restaurant. First rate service, extensive menu. Can’t wait to go back for handmade egg rolls and the best egg drop soup I’ve ever had!
I love love LOVE this place. I look forward to it every time I can stop by. Their dim sum menu on the weekends is so awesome! Everything is as fresh as can be, even the seafood in central Indiana which I could hardly believe. The prices are a little higher but it is so worth it for the quality and freshness. The lettuce wraps make me hungrier when I eat them because of how good they are. The service has always been great and they will answer any question you have over the menu. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes Chinese cuisine.
By far the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Fort Wayne. I could eat the egg drop soup until I died, because it's that good. The fried rice is exquisite as well. Every dish that passed my table made my mouth water. The atmosphere is beautiful, unlike any other Chinese restaurant in town. Well worth the price.
Great! I have only been for lunch but everything I have tried is great I especially like the burnt pork. The lo mein noodles are also the best!
Yum.... We started off with the pork potstickers. It was a large appetizer and very delicious. The hubby had the Three Ingredient Taste with chicken, shrimp and beef, which he really liked. I had the Mandarin Chicken and veggies. Everything was very tasty. It was our first time and the owner was super helpful with recommendations. Definitely will go back.
Step Up From the American Chinese Norm. I've had lunch here twice with my wife. Both times were well worth the money. I understand a lot of people want a huge pile of food to shove down their gullets and have more to feed the dog or have lunch another day. It doesn't need to be. The lunch special is a salad (unassuming iceberg with dressing and crispy topping that I would have licked the plate afterward if at home), appetizer, vegetable egg roll or crab rangoon, the main course and steamed or fried rice. Egg drop soup is good. No faults. Wife loved both the egg drop and hot and sour soup. The egg roll wasn't greasy, crispy outside, tender inside and the size was a perfect few bites for me. The mixed vegetables were done really well, cooked in a wine sauce I believe. I tried my wife's Yushang Egg Plant and it was very good, hot creamy eggplant in hot pepper sauce, Szechwan Braised String Beans are amazing. The garlic sauce is very pungent and full flavored and the beans cooked perfectly. And I tried my wife's Bean Curd in Brown Sauce. Probably the best tender bean curd with slightly crisp outside and beautiful brown sauce. Downfall, there were no black mushrooms in the dish. Overall, atmosphere is very nice and the service has been wonderful. Your glass is always full and they are ready and willing to bring out a pair of chopsticks
Favorite Chinese Place. This is our favorite Chinese place in town. Service is great and the pungent beef is always killer. We have had several events in the back room which the guests gave rant reviews to. They were also very understanding and worked to ensure that the little kids in our group were happy and entertained.
Yummy!. Really enjoyed this place, delicious food. We will surely return. The 3 dishes we had were Kung Pao Triple,Red Shrimp, and Seafood Deluxe. Great!
GREAT food and GREAT owners!. My boyfriend and I got carry out from here a few weeks ago. I was worried because we walked in and ordered a half an hour before closing but I was pleasantly surprised! The owners were extremely nice and made us feel very welcome! They offered us something to drink while we were waiting. The food was very good and we will defiantly be coming back to dine in!
Continues to be the best service and best prepared food of any kind in Fort Wayne. Wu's is the equal of restaurants in Manhattan and London. Wow! Thank you Brian our wonderful server and Michelle our wonderful and elegant hostess. And thank you Chef!

Fabulous! The best cuisine in Fort Wayne. Our server Brittany was fab, as was our hostess, Michelle. This is fresh prepared and well spiced. A welcome reprieve from buffet Chinese. Interior gorgeous. Worth the trip and again and again.
Food has been very good both times my family has eaten here. Burned pork was an excellent choice. Ordered medium spicy and it was the perfect amount of heat. Love the crispy edges of the meat. Salt and pepper scallops were good, too. Lightly battered, tender, medium sized scallops. All portions have been generous enough to take some home. Love the hot chili oil that is served with the potstickers. All items very reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Service a bit slow on a busy night...but not really an issue. Food was fresh and hot and worth the slight wait.
Awesome food. Orange chicken is delicious.
Just went for dinner with my family. Food was delicious! A young man waited on us and was so attentive and polite. I don't have a single complaint. Can't wait to go back!!
Wu's- upscale chinese. Been a regular for the past few months, and have generally been pleased. Restaurant is quite pretty inside, with a nice atmosphere... However, the music is quite repetitive... If it bothers me with my once-a-week visit, it must be very annoying to the wait staff.
In terms of food, everything has been good, but occasionally inconsistent. The hot burned pork is excellent- crispy, spicy, and peanut flavor and texture. Kung Pao chicken is always lovely as well, perfectly seasoned.
Spiciness is really all over the map- I've had extra spicy that was mild, and mild that was hot. Also, the noodle dish was quite oily. Egg rolls and crab rangoon are decent, but nothing special. I'd like to try some of the "authentic" menu in the future.
First visit. The entire meal was excellent. Worthy of a return visit.

A great experience!. My wife and I celebrated our annual Valentine's Day dinner here last night and it was a wonderful experience! We started with the Volcano appetizer which had a little bit of everything. The Paper Wrapped chicken was awesome! We then moved on to the main course where I had the Burnt Pork (it wasn't burnt that is just the name) which can only be described as meat candy! My wife had the Beach Party. Both of us ended up taking food home as we couldn't finish it! The food was great and the service was awesome! We will DEFINITELY be coming back here!
Excellent Chinese food. Staff very friendly & helpful. Best dish? The Tea Smoked Duck by far. Menu is very large with both traditional dishes & American-Chinese. Dim-Sum only available till 2:30 pm. Definitely recommend!
The lunch menu is small but everything here is good. Try the pungent beef. Ask for the dinner menu for more variety; the lettuce wraps are as good or better than PF changs. Saturday and Sunday for lunch they serve dim sum which was excellent, I had the steamed pork buns. The interior was tasteful and modern. I will definately go back.
Wonderful from start to finish! We started with pots tickers that were outstanding with the two sauces. Both the soups, wonton and hit and sour, were excellent. Our entree of Hunan Chicken was very tasty with the black bean sauce. Very unique. Rich was very helpful and pleasant and attentive!!
My husband and I love to come here! The foods great and my service has always been outstanding! The pot-stickers are awesome. I actually crave their food. The staff and food has always been amazing. I'm shocked they got negative reviews. Anyway I do and would reccomend this place.
The Best. Outstanding!! I love Chinese food, PF Changs is great, but Wu's is far superior. I can't get enough. All the other Chinese restaurants in Ft. Wayne are second fiddle!
Best Chinese food in fort wayne-- well-priced, friendly staff, great food.
Absolutely Fantastic Authentic Chinese!. I've been here twice in a week, it is so good. I cannot believe so many people find this expensive for the amount and absolutely fantastic quality of the food you get here.
The highest you'll pay for an entree is about $15, most being around $10, which I think is absolutely reasonable.
This IS NOT your place to get cheap, crappy Americanized Chinese takeout, this really has more in common with the Japanese restaurants in town, but a trip here is far cheaper than those. I spent half as much here as I would at Asakusa and got way more for the money.
I would recommend trying something from the Authentic Cusine side of the menu, as that is where the experience is truly unique. The Tea Smoked Duck is out of this world!
Best Asian in city. The tasteful but understated atmosphere is the first clue that this is not the typical Asian restaurant. It only gets better after that. The owner, Michelle, is attentive to details and customers without being overwhelming. Her wait staff is top notch, and only out-everything we have tried has been a notch above dishes at other Asian establishments.
Great Ambiance, service. The food's good, too, if a little pricey for Fort Wayne. But it's a special spot in a very convenient location. We've just begun exploring the menu. Try the steamed dumplings for an appetizer.
Good food; needs more staff. I just had dinner here for the first time last night with a group of friends. We sat at a large, round table with a Lazy Susan in the middle. This makes it VERY easy to share dishes, which we enjoyed! We all ordered a variety of appetizers to share. The crab rangoons are very good, as is the calamari! I tried jellyfish for the first time. While it's not my cup of tea, several of my friends enjoyed it. The steamed dumplings were very good, and they were very generous in the portion (most places will give you maybe three; but, this establishment gave us 8 - 10). For my entree, I chose the Treasure Island, which is a mixture of different types of seafood and vegetables cooked in a white wine sauce. My only complaint is the imitation crab. I think it should either be left out, or real crab should be used instead. Otherwise, though, it was very good. My friends' entrees were also very delicious. I had iced tea to drink, which turned out to be an iced green jasmine tea. While I didn't mind, it would be nice to have "regular" iced tea offered, as well (or at least tell diners what their iced tea consists of). The bill was a teeny bit steep, but not too bad. My only real complaint about the entire experience was the lack of servers. Our server, Paul, was amazing with a great personality and sense of humor. However, the restaurant was so under-staffed that he was running rampant, causing visits to our table to be long-delayed (for which he apologized). The entree of one of my friends almost never made it out to the table, due to a fault of someone in the kitchen. Our server apologized, brought her entree, and told her that he felt what happened wasn't right and that he was going to speak to the manager about taking it off the bill for her (which they did). I will definitely be trying this place again (most likely for Dim Sum on the weekend), but I hope they will be better staffed next time.
I travel around the country weekly and I would say their food quality was better than average. The price was reasonable or mabe $2 high. Where it fell short was the kitchens slowness. The bar too. They were far from full, but left me sitting for 15 min after the drink order and 20+ min to get my appetizer. Too long. The waitress was not at fault since she couldn't serve drinks. I'd go back though.
Very Good. We tried this place on Fathers Day. Pretty good food! Didn't know what to expect, buffet or menu. It's a beautifully decorated sit down place where they serve you from a menu. Dinner potions are big enough to split if you have an appetizer with your meal.
We tried the Mongolian Beef and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Couple of egg rolls and some Crab Ragoon. We really enjoyed the place. Only complaint is that their English could improve or my Chinese could. LOL. Over all I highly recommend the place.
