Great food drinks and atmosphere for families. Tons of options and plenty of TVs to catch your favorite sports playing!! The staff is always friendly and on top of drink refills!!! Will definitely go again and again!!

So finally getting around to doing the review for this place. I have been here at least 4 time since I moved in to the area. I tried out the chicken fried steak first visit that time it came with fresh cut fries. The new way is with mashed potatoes and vegetables of the day. I prefer fries over the mashed potatoes and vegetables. I do like chicken fried steak itโs one of the places I go to when I want to go someplace different and not the same spot all the time, also the location for me is convenient. Each time I have been there the place is busy but short wait to get seated. The service has been good every time but the last visit. But in all it is still good just bad server. The other item I get is a hamburger. I really prefer a classic burger with cheese and all the toppings. it comes with fresh cut fries which is always good itโs the only way to have fries. The burger was very good, tasty and juicy. Definitely One of my favorite burger places to go. The food all around is good. Service is good sometimes will get bad just the staff. Well worth the visit
I'd like to give the food 3 and 1/2 stars but I can't. It's good. Definitely above average but could be better. I don't think it's quite up to four star level.
I had the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was good but the chicken fried steak needed more seasoning and the meat needed to be thicker. It may have been 4 oz of meat and 4 oz of batter.
The fries were good and my girlfriend's burger was good.
Great customer service was great. This restaurant has a nice patio. Great cocktails. Tasty food.
The Fred's burgers of Ft. Worth are a local legend. The N. location is pretty cozy, and last I was there I heard rumors of a stage being installed for live music/shows, so I can't wait to hear more about that.
Don't miss out on the awesome sides! Sweet potato fries and onion rings are the best !!! And at Fred's, they are fresh, you can taste the difference!
Service was alright, having been in the service industry I expected a little more for the price, but it wasn't horrible, just nothing exceptional worth mentioning. If you want service, you will hVe to grab the attention of the staff, because they seem super busy.
Ambiance was also alright at this location. My assessment is based on what looked like sporadic renovations in the location. I am tempted to sit outside and see what that is like, but TX weather and critters will have to work with us.
We're from San Antonio and when traveling we always try to find local spots. This was a great find. Awesome menu. Hamburgers were delicious. Chicken tacos lack flavor, but not that bad. Nice waitresses. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Banana pudding is BOMB!
Husband kind of picky about food but he really likes the Big Fred Hamburger and the onion rings here. Beer is icy served in cold frosted glasses as well as the margaritas. Ranch taste homemade. Chicken fried steak was delicious with the sourdough crust. Husband always wants to come here.
The staff is super kind, and the burgers are huge. The loaded fries alone could be a meal. The ice covered beer glasses seal the deal to making this a GREAT place
I tried the Elotes Burger. It was a little drier than expected but still delicious. Fred's never disappoints.
Great place to grab dinner. Good customer service, good prices, great atmosphere, food was delicious and portions were huge. Chicken fried steak was FANTASTIC. This place literally ice cold beer. This place is non-smoking (has a nice patio for smokers) and a great place to bring the whole family.
First time here! The burgers are delish! I had the Spicy Todo Jalapeno burger. Hubby had the Zaragoza burger and kiddo had the 5 piece chicken strips. We all enjoyed our food. It's a lot but so tasty! Service was great, too! Definitely a new favorite!

Driven by this place many times and finally decided to stop and grab some food with my pre-teen and teen boys. This place was a hit. They both had the Fred Melt, which is like a single patty melt without the thousand island, and they loved it. I had the Badlands Burger, which is basically a barbecue burger, and it was very good. Hand cut fries for mine, a few orders of loaded fries for the boys, and topped off with some sweet teas and this place was a hit. A little on the pricier side for a burger and fries, but worth it nevertheless. We will be back.

This was an excellent place to have dinner. I would have given it a five but the acoustics could be improved. The service was outstanding and the food delicious. The entire staff made us feel so welcomed that we can not wait to return. FYI the banana pudding is wort the trip.
Every burger I've tried is amazing. My favorite so far is The Diablo if you like spicy. The fries are fresh cut and top notch and the fried pickles are very good as well and can be substituted for the fries.
Had to admit, there was sticker shock at first when looking at the menu, but, when our food arrived (Chicken Fried Steak & The Texican Chicken Fried Steak), we were completely shocked at the portion size! That Chicken Fried Steak was over 10 inches in diameter and had plenty of their hand-cut fries.
Everything was delicious! A few suggestions would be to add Chicken Fried CHICKEN, some chicken sandwich options, and maybe a few lighter meal options. Will definitely be back to try one of the awesome looking burgers!
